The youngest passenger was just four days old—a baby with her parents among over 200 survivors travelling on two rubber boats off the coast of Libya, all people seeking protection from war and poverty hoping to make it to Europe.

In the end, on April 1, the boats were intercepted just 22 miles off the Libyan coast by a boat operated by the Spanish NGO Proactiva Open Arms, and transferred to the Sicilian port of Augusta by a chartered fishing trawler. The same day, some 280 more migrants were picked up by a supply ship chartered to Medecins Sans Frontières, the French medical relief organization, and SOS Méditerranée.

Just a few days before, in the same area, 66 people drowned when their overcrowded dinghy overturned.

This year, 602 people had died on the Central Mediterranean crossing to Italy by April 5, according to the International Organization of Migration, up from 355 the year before. Most of the deaths happen 20 to 40 miles from the Libyan coast—with people crowded onto boats that have no hope of making it to Italy.

And yet despite the deaths, a debate has developed in Italy over whether the NGOs involved in search and rescue missions in the Mediterranean are somehow contributing to the problem.

In February, the head of Frontex, the European Union's frontier and coast guard agency, provoked an outcry when he suggested in an interview that the NGOs were in effect "supporting the business of criminal networks and traffickers in Libya through European vessels picking up migrants ever closer to the Libyan coast." While two NGO vessels have been operating in these waters over the winter months, coast guard vessels operating under Frontex command have been kept back to patrolling close to the Italian shore—over 100 miles from Libya.

This European response to the increased migration flows is in effect a policy of deterrence. According to this grim argument, if the chances of drowning are high enough, then people will not get into boats. But that is a policy that requires a large number of people to die, and is based on a false assumption: when rescue missions were suspended in 2015, more people came than ever before. And those that are attempting to stop these deaths are becoming a scapegoat for policy failure.


At the Open Society Foundations, we are deeply concerned about the attacks on the NGOs involved in these rescue efforts. While it is important not to encourage smugglers and their ruthless tactics that often result in death and suffering, there is also a moral and a legal imperative under international law not to allow for people to simply perish at sea. Governments are obliged under maritime law to provide Search and Rescue resistance to people in distress, and NGOs are providing this vital function in full cooperation with the Maritime Rescue Coordination Centre in Rome and the Italian Coast Guard.

The Open Society Foundations do not fund search and rescue operations in the Mediterranean. But we do support organizations in Italy and elsewhere in Europe that strive for dignified and effective migration policies, enshrined in the rule of law. Groups we work with, such as ASGI and A Buon Diritto, work to ensure that international, European, and national laws are honored in asylum procedures, that reception conditions are dignified, and that no one is deprived of their liberty without judicial oversight and procedural safeguards.

We also believe that the Italian society has the right to know the facts about migration, and consequently we support those actors that seek to present facts and evidence on how migration is caused, how it affects societies, and which policies bring the best solutions.

For those reasons, we support Carta di Roma, which organizes training for media professionals in the correct use of a fair terminology on immigration and minorities, and the Italian Civil Liberties Coalition's web platform, called #OpenMigration, which provides data, infographics, commentary, news reporting, and analysis on migration trends, and legal and policy developments.

Europe is still searching for the policy solutions it needs to address the flow of people who are fleeing war and poverty—just as in the 19th and 20th century Italian families once picked up their lives and headed to the United States and Latin America, all in pursuit of a better life. The solutions will only emerge through open, informed debate in Italy and across Europe, driven by our shared humanity.

Left-wing billionaire financier George Soros recently accused Angela Merkel of bringing 'chaos' to Europe through her open-door immigration policy.

But it's emerged through leaked documents that his think-tank Open Society Foundations (OSF) sees Europe's refugee crisis as an opportunity - a chance to influence immigration policies worldwide and collaborate with other wealthy donors.

In a memo called 'Migration Governance and Enforcement Portfolio Review', OSF states that the immigration crisis in Europe is the 'new normal'.

It has 'created space to reconsider the governance of migration and the international refugee regime'.

It presents, the Foundation argues, 'new opportunities for reforming migration governance at the global level, whether through the existing multi-lateral system, or by bringing together a range of actors to think more innovatively'.

The Foundation says that its 'investment in global work' means that it has the 'right partners' and is in a position to 'help others navigate this space'.

The memo adds that 'the refugee crisis is opening new opportunities... for coordination and collaboration' with other rich organisations.

It was only recently that Soros, who 'broke the Bank of England' in 1992, said that the German Chancellor's decision to 'open her country's doors wide to refugees' was 'not properly thought out'.

WHO IS GEORGE SOROS?

Soros rose to fame and fortune two decades ago on a now-historic trade, in which he took on the Bank of England and shrewdly wagered on a devaluation of the British pound.

This led to his moniker - The Man Who Broke the Bank of England.

The move made him $1billion.

He was born in Budapest, studied at the London School of Economics and holds dual Hungarian-American citizenship.

After selling seaside souvenirs he managed to get a foot on the financial ladder with a job at Singer & Friedlander in London in 1954, before settling in the US.

He went on to become one of the richest people in the world through fund management.

He's worth around $24.9billion.

Soros, 85, said a 'lack of adequate controls sparked panic across the continent' and that the European migration crisis and Brexit debate then 'fed on each other'.

He said: 'German Chancellor Angela Merkel's decision to open her country's doors wide to refugees was an inspiring gesture, but it was not properly thought out, because it ignored the pull factor.

'A sudden influx of asylum-seekers disrupted people in their everyday lives across the EU.

'The lack of adequate controls, moreover, created panic, affecting everyone: the local population, the authorities in charge of public safety, and the refugees themselves.'

He said the Leave campaign in Britain exploited the deteriorating refugee situation to stoke fears of 'uncontrolled immigration' from other EU member states.

Soros - one of the wealthiest men in the world - famously 'broke the Bank of England' after his bets against the pound were instrumental in ejecting it from the Exchange Rate Mechanism.

The OSF claims on its website that it works 'to build vibrant and tolerant societies whose governments are accountable and open to the participation of all people'.

It says: 'We seek to strengthen the rule of law; respect for human rights, minorities, and a diversity of opinions; democratically elected governments; and a civil society that helps keep government power in check.

'We help to shape public policies that assure greater fairness in political, legal, and economic systems and safeguard fundamental rights.'

The OSF told MailOnline: 'We are committed to making sure that anyone who chooses to migrate—regardless of motivation—is able to do so safely and with dignity. The ongoing crises in the Mediterranean, Asia, and at the U.S./Mexico border have exposed the failure of institutions and societies to respond effectively to the plight of migrants.

'In the face of rising xenophobia and hostility toward migrants, we support local organizations and policymakers who are working to ensure vulnerable populations are protected, that migrants are empowered to contribute to host societies and home countries, and that migrant voices are heard.'

Is there a difference between a migrant and a refugee?

A migrant is a person who leaves home to seek a new life in another region or country. This includes all those who move across borders, including those doing so with government permission, i.e., with a visa or a work permit, as well as those doing so without it, i.e., irregular or undocumented migrants. The member states of the European Union agree that EU citizens and their families have freedom of movement within the EU and the European Economic Area—these citizens are privileged migrants because they don't require individual permission from officials as other migrants do.

A refugee is someone fleeing war, persecution, or natural disaster. Refugee status is defined in international law, which requires states to protect refugees and not send anyone to a place where they risk being persecuted or seriously harmed. States hold primary responsibility for the protection of refugees. The UN counted 21.3 million refugees worldwide at the end of 2015.

"Asylum" refers to the legal permission to stay somewhere as a refugee, which brings rights and benefits. Not every asylum seeker will ultimately be recognized as a refugee, but every refugee is initially an asylum seeker.

What is the European Union's asylum policy?

The EU Common European Asylum System (CEAS) is a set of EU laws, completed in 2005. They are intended to ensure that all EU member states protect the rights of asylum seekers and refugees. The CEAS sets out minimum standards and procedures for processing and deciding asylum applications, and for the treatment of both asylum seekers and those who are recognized as refugees. Implementation of CEAS varies throughout the European Union. A number of EU states still do not operate fair, effective systems of asylum decision-making and support, leading to a patchwork of 28 asylum systems producing uneven results.


Asylum seekers have no legal duty to claim asylum in the first EU state they reach, and many move on, seeking to join relatives or friends for support, or to reach a country with a functioning asylum system. However, the "Dublin" regulation stipulates that EU member states can choose to return asylum seekers to their country of first entry to process their asylum claim, so long as that country has an effective asylum system.

EU countries in the north, the desired destination of many refugees, have sought to use this Dublin system to their advantage, at the expense of the south, where most refugees first arrive. Yet these efforts have been obstructed by failures of asylum systems in the south. Domestic and European courts have ruled against asylum seekers being returned to Greece, notably in a landmark case in 2011 that found Belgium in violation of the European Convention on Human Rights for exposing an Afghan national to detention, harsh living conditions, and risks arising from shortcomings in Greece's asylum system after a return.

To address the uneven application of CEAS and the problems of the Dublin system, a reform of the CEAS was proposed in 2016. Among the proposed reforms is one that risks endangering the right to asylum in the EU, with an obligation to verify first if asylum seekers could find protection outside the EU. Some EU countries have already voiced opposition to some of the reforms, notably the obligation to take refugees from other EU countries.
Are asylum seekers and migrants still attempting to reach Europe?

The majority of arrivals to the European Union in 2016 have come via the Mediterranean. Since the beginning of the year, more than 4,600 people have died or gone missing while attempting to reach Italy from the North African coast. This is the highest recorded number of deaths in the Mediterranean to date.

The highest number of migrants arrive in Greece and Italy, often after a perilous journey across the sea. In Greece, around 62,000 people are waiting to have their asylum applications processed, with about 11,400 of them held in facilities on the Greek islands. Each month, less than 1,000 asylum decisions are given, with more than that number of asylum seekers arriving. In Italy, over 11,000 people per month applied for asylum in 2016, and on average between 6,000 and 8,000 are processed every month. Faced with this unprecedented situation, both countries have struggled to provide decent reception facilities with even basic services.

How has the European Union responded to refugee movements?

In 2015, high numbers of migrants, many of them Syrians fleeing conflict, continued to move. Some European states, led by Germany, recognized that their strategy of seeking to block refugees moving across borders was unrealistic and harmful. Countries worked together to allow migrants to move onwards to the places they wished to reach. This allowed reception countries to focus their resources on supporting asylum seekers and considering claims.

By early 2016, support for this policy began to wane, with increased hostility towards migrants entering the political discourse. Certain countries along the migrant route began to close their borders. The situation further deteriorated when the EU's decision to transfer 160,000 asylum seekers from Greece and Italy to other European member states was met with widespread resistance. In the end, a small percentage of the needed transfers actually took place.

In response to the failure to adequately process asylum claims, the EU set up "hotspots" in Greece and Italy. Hotspots identify, register, and fingerprint incoming migrants, and redirect them either towards asylum or return procedures. In practice, many hotspots are turning into overcrowded and understaffed detention and expulsion centers, with little external oversight.

In March 2016, the EU announced a deal in which Turkey would try to stop people from moving onward into Europe; in return, Turkey was promised financial assistance, visa-free travel to the EU for Turkish citizens, and faster negotiations for EU accession. But the EU-Turkey deal failed to close the border, and thousands of migrants continued to travel irregularly using smugglers. Since the deal, only 750 asylum seekers have been sent back from Greece to Turkey, because Greek officials and courts consider Turkey to be an unsafe country.

This deal is one example of a controversial practice, in which the EU links development aid or economic incentives to commitments by states to stem and manage the movements of people from their territory. Similar deals are being approved with a number of third countries including Libya, Egypt, Sudan, and Nigeria. In June 2016, the European Commission proposed a new "Partnership Framework" with third countries in the Middle East and Africa, leading to criticism by a broad range of actors for deal-making with countries with poor human rights records, and for conflicting with international protection frameworks, including the right to leave one's own country.

The EU also continues to support refugees in host countries like Turkey, Lebanon, and Jordan—where the majority of Syrian refugees are hosted—including through funding for UN agencies working in the field such as the UNHCR or the WFP.
What are the Open Society Foundations doing?

The mission of the Open Society Foundations is to strengthen rule of law; respect for human rights, minorities, and diversity of opinion. Many migrants and refugees are unaware of their rights. Authorities, smugglers, or unscrupulous employers, among others, may try to deny them their rights. Many also live with the emotional and economic strain of having fled war and conflict. We support initiatives that protect migrants and refugees, help them integrate into society, and empower them to take a leading role in advocating for policies that affect them.

The Open Society Foundations does not support migration as such, but we recognize that it has become an unavoidable feature of the modern world. We help find responsible policy solutions to the challenges that migration poses, in accordance with international law.

We work in all European countries affected by large migration movements to support civil society organizations looking to respond in a humane way.

In Greece, we work with organizations like the Greek Council for Refugees, which monitors rights' violations at border areas, in reception facilities, and in detention centers; the Hellenic League of Human Rights, which provides asylum seekers with reliable information about their rights and obligations; and the Greek Forum of Refugees, a refugee- and migrant-led organization that seeks to support migrants' integration in the country. Solidarity Now, set up in 2013 by the Open Society Foundations—and today a grantee—provides housing, basic medical care, and other relief services to newcomers and Greeks.

In Italy, we support organizations that work to reform Italy's asylum system. Medici per i Diritti Umani (MEDU) advocates for better conditions in Italy's asylum reception centers; Refugees Welcome Italy promotes housing refugees and asylum seekers in private accommodation as an alternative to state facilities; ASGI and A Buon Diritto work to ensure that international, European, and national laws are honored during asylum procedures, that reception conditions are dignified, and that no one is deprived of their liberty without judicial oversight and procedural safeguards. The Italian Civil Liberties Coalition and its platform Open Migration provides data, fact checking, and stories to inform the migration debate.

In Spain, we support NGOs which provide legal aid to refugees and seek to improve the national asylum system, such as the as Spanish Commission for Refugees (CEAR) and Coordinadora de Barrios.

In Western Europe, Open Society's work extends from the United Kingdom to Finland. The Migrants' Rights Network reports and challenges the rise in racism and xenophobia in Britain, Migrant Voice amplifies migrants' perspectives through its newspaper, the Raul Wallenberg Institute in Sweden builds the capacity of grassroots groups to advocate for themselves, and Mediendienst-Integration in Germany serves as a reliable source of information and data for media reporting on migration.

In Central and Eastern Europe, we support local organizations which work to ensure newcomers are treated with dignity and assist with their integration into the society. Menedék organizes training courses for professionals including social workers, teachers, and police officers working in immigration detention centers in Hungary, and the Association for Migration and Integration in Czechia is working on ensuring that the rights of EU nationals working in the country are protected.

Venäjän informaatio-operaatioista melskataan mediassa jatkuvasti. Soros puolestaan järjestää omia kokouksiaan EU-komission kanssa noin kerran viikossa(!) ja lobbaa omaa agendaansa sadoilla miljoonilla vuodessa. Open Society liikkuu aivan omissa sfääreissään. Jälkimmäisestä vaikuttamisesta vallitsee käytännössä haudanhiljaisuus, varsinkin Suomen mediassa.

Sosiaalisessa mediassa on levitetty tehokkaasti "uutista", että kannattaisin tavoitteita, joita George Soroksen väitetään ajavan: maahanmuuton lisäämistä, samaa sukupuolta olevien avioliittoja, Ukrainan integroimista EU:iin ja Venäjän vastustamista.

Kaikkien pitäisi tietää, että olen ajanut maahanmuuton patoamista tiukemmin kuin kukaan muu ja että olen vastustanut samaa sukupuolta olevien avioliittoja. Tällä kertaa hallitus kysyy kansalaisten mielipidettä George Sorosin eri foorumeilla esittelemästä maahanmuuttosuunnitelmasta, joka on hyvin pitkälle ollut pohja ja malli myös EU:n myöhemmille maahanmuuttosuunnitelmille, joista ei vielä ole julkaistu lopullista versiota.

Tästä on noussut tiedostavilla tahoilla melkoinen myrsky. Konsultaatio on leimattu vihakampanjaksi, kysymyksiä on väitetty vääriksi ja suunnitelman olemassaolo on kiistetty tai sen merkitystä on vähätelty.

Konsultaatiokysymyksissä on seitsemän kohtaa, joista kahdessa tekstin laatija on nähdäkseni liioitellut Sorosin vaatimuksia. Ihan turhaan, sillä kysymykset olisivat olleet lievemminkin muotoiltuna melkoista dynamiittia. Unkarilaisilta kysytään taustatietojen kera muun muassa, hyväksyvätkö he suunnitelmat vähintään miljoonasta Eurooppaan sijoitettavasta maahanmuuttajasta, rajojen avaamisesta, turvapaikanhakijoiden pakkosiirroista ja tällaista maahanmuuttopolitiikkaa vastustavien EU-maiden ankarasta rankaisemisesta, kyllä vai ei.

Kuvaavaa konsultaation kritiikille on, että niissä ei oteta kantaa itse kysymyksiin kuten siihen Sorosin yksiselitteiseen vaatimukseen, että "EU:n on hyväksyttävä vähintään miljoona turvapaikanhakijaa vuodessa hamaan tulevaisuuteen", vaan tilanne käännetään siten, että Unkarin hallituksessa on pahoja, valehtelevia ihmisiä, jotka kiusaavat Soros-parkaa.

Ylen toimittaja Sampo Vaarakallio kyseenalaistaa Sorosin maahanmuutto-ohjelman olemassaolon samaan tyyliin kuin Radio Moskova aikoinaan kyseenalaisti jonkin olevan länsimaiden väitteiden mukaan "niin kutsutusti" sitä tai "niin sanotusti" tätä.

Kuten aiemmin kirjoitin, kahdessa kohdassa seitsemästä tekstin laatija on liioitellut Sorosin ilmaisemaa tahtoa (ei tosin välttämättä sitä, mitä Soros haluaa), mutta jutussa esiin nostetussa kohdassa viisi ("Soros tahtoo, että siirtolaiset saavat pienempiä tuomioita tekemistään rikoksista"), josta on nostettu oikeusjuttu, ei ole erityistä epäselvyyttä.

Soros on tukenut järjestöjä, jotka vaativat, että esimerkiksi tuomioita laittomasta maahantulosta lievennetään tai ne poistetaan kokonaan. Se, että Soros tilanteen mukaan jättää kommentoimatta omalla nimellään ja käyttää puskurina rahoittamiaan proxy-järjestöjä, ei ole mitään uutta, eikä muuta käsitystä hänen tahdostaan.

Takana EU, edessä itä – Unkari matkalla Putinin syliin

Unkarin pääministeri Viktor Orbán käy kevään vaaleihin sättimällä sijoittaja George Sorosia. Tänään päättyy kansalaisille esitetty kysely "Sorosin maahanmuutto-ohjelmasta." Samaan aikaan nuorten oppositio kerää nimiä ja kokemusta.

Hallitus pyytää kansalaisia vastaamaan kyselyyn, joka koskee väitettyä Sorosin maahanmuutto-ohjelmaa.

Kyselyssä Viktor Orbánin hallitus esittää kansalle seitsemän väitettä, joissa kaikissa Soros esitetään epäilyttävässä valossa. Käytännössä Soros mustamaalataan tuulesta temmatuilla väitteillä.

Kansan on vastattava, ollako samaa mieltä vaiko ei. Johdatteleviin väitteisiin on helppo vastata hallitusta myötäillen.

Väitteiden mukaan Soros panee EU:n ottamaan yli miljoona pakolaista Afrikasta ja Lähi-idästä sekä pakottaa Unkarin maksamaan jokaiselle maahanmuuttajalle lähes 30 tuhatta euroa.

Väitteen viisi mukaan Soros tahtoo, että siirtolaiset saavat pienempiä tuomioita tekemistään rikoksista.

Helsinki Komitea -ihmisoikeusjärjestön lakimies Balázs Tóth sanoo, että toki hallitus saa kysyä sananvapauden nimissä mitä haluaa, mutta on asioilla oikeudellisetkin rajat.

– Olemme nostaneet oikeusjutun koskien väitettä viisi. Se on valheellinen, syrjivä ja halventava, sanoo Balázs Tóth.

EU, oikeusoppineet ja ihmisoikeusaktivistit ovat Orbánin kampanjasta kauhistuneita. Se on taas yksi osoitus siitä, että Unkari luisuu yhä kauemmas EU:n yhteisistä arvoista ja vähät välittää oikeusvaltioperiaatteesta.

On October 9, 2017, the Hungarian government mailed a national consultation to all eight million eligible Hungarian voters purporting to solicit their opinions about a so-called "Soros Plan." The statements in the national consultation contain distortions and outright lies that deliberately mislead Hungarians about George Soros's views on migrants and refugees. Hungarian government officials also falsely claim that George Soros is somehow controlling the European Union decision-making process. In fact, decisions on how to address the migration crisis are made by EU member states and institutions, including the Hungarian government.

With Hungary's health care and education systems in distress and corruption rife, the current government has sought to create an outside enemy to distract citizens. The government selected George Soros for this purpose, launching a massive anti-Soros media campaign costing tens of millions of euros in taxpayer money, stoking anti-Muslim sentiment, and employing anti-Semitic tropes reminiscent of the 1930s. The national consultation is part of an ongoing propaganda effort that has been underway since May 2015 that included the "Stop Brussels" consultation in the spring of 2017 and the referendum that vilified migrants and refugees in 2016.

George Soros started his giving in Hungary in the 1980s, establishing a foundation there in 1984. Since then, his support for Hungarians has totaled roughly €350 million and has included scholarships, health care services, and humanitarian efforts, including €1 million for reconstruction after the red sludge disaster in 2010. He also funds current efforts to help educate children with learning disabilities, tackle homelessness, and bring public transportation to the Hungarian countryside.

As a concerned citizen, George Soros regularly publishes commentary in newspapers around the world expressing his views and proposing policy approaches on a variety of topics, including the migration crisis. These are all publicly available on his website: www.GeorgeSoros.com.

National Consultation Statement 1:
George Soros wants Brussels to resettle at least one million immigrants per year onto European Union territory, including in Hungary.

In a 2015 opinion piece, George Soros said that because of the war in Syria, the European Union would have to "accept at least a million asylum-seekers annually for the foreseeable future. And, to do that, it must share the burden fairly" ("Rebuilding the Asylum System," Project Syndicate, September 26, 2015). A year later, when circumstances had changed, he suggested that the EU should make a "commitment to admit even a mere 300,000 refugees annually" ("Saving Refugees to Save Europe," Project Syndicate, September 12, 2016).

National Consultation Statement 2:
Together with officials in Brussels, George Soros is planning to dismantle border fences in EU member states, including in Hungary, to open the borders for immigrants.

George Soros has clearly stated his belief that "the EU must regain control of its borders." He believes that "the EU must build common mechanisms for protecting borders, determining asylum claims, and relocating refugees." ("Saving Refugees to Save Europe," Project Syndicate, September 12, 2016).

National Consultation Statement 3:
One part of the Soros Plan is to use Brussels to force the EU-wide distribution of immigrants that have accumulated in Western Europe, with special focus on Eastern European countries. Hungary must also take part in this.

In his most recent commentary on the refugee crisis, George Soros endorsed "a voluntary matching mechanism for relocating refugees." He made clear that "the EU cannot coerce member states to accept refugees they do not want, or refugees to go where they are not wanted." National Consultation Statement 4:
Based on the Soros Plan, Brussels should force all EU member states, including Hungary, to pay immigrants HUF 9 million (€28,000) in welfare.

George Soros did not say that Hungary should be forced to pay HUF 9 million in welfare to immigrants. He did say, "Adequate financing is critical. The EU should provide €15,000 per asylum-seeker for each of the first two years to help cover housing, health care, and education costs—and to make accepting refugees more appealing to member states." ("Rebuilding the Asylum System," Project Syndicate, September 26, 2015). This would clearly be a subsidy from the EU to the Hungarian government. Last year George Soros announced that he would contribute to the financial effort by earmarking €430 million of his personal fortune "for investments that specifically address the needs of migrants, refugees and host communities." ("Why I'm Investing $500 Million in Migrants," The Wall Street Journal, September 20, 2016).

George Sorosin järjestön "Open Society":n sanotaan rahoittavan monia ruotsalaisia tunnettuja poliitikkoja. Sorosin suomalaisuosikeista on olemassa tietoa alempana. Samoin Alexander Stubb poseerasi vastikään yhdessä Sorosin kanssa.

Kaikki tiedot viittaavat siihen, että unkarilais-yhdysvaltalainen (nykyisin Yhdysvalloissa astustava) juutalaistaustainen monimiljardööri George Soros rahoittaa aktiivisesti eurooppalaista maahanmuutto-operaatiota ja väestönvaihdosta.

George Soros –tietovuoto paljastaa suomalaiset "liittolaiset"

Pahamaineinen juutalainen kulttuurimarxisti George Soros on joutunut valtavan tietovuotoskandaalin keskelle. Tietovuoto paljastaa muun muassa, keitä suomalaisia Soros pitää "luotettavina liittolaisinaan".

DC Leaks perusti "Soros Unleashed" –nimisen verkkosivun, jonne vuodettu materiaali on ladattu. Vuodot osoittavat esimerkiksi, että Soros on tukenut kymmenillätuhansilla dollareilla ruotsalaista äärivasemmistolaista Expo-järjestöä, joka on käytännössä kulttuurimarxistien laiton tiedustelupalvelu.

DC Leaksin julkaisema "Reliable allies in the European Parliament" –asiakirja kertoo nimensä mukaisesti, keitä juutalainen talousrikollinen pitää luotettavina liittolaisinaan:

"Tämä kartoitus selvittää, ketkä Euroopan parlamentin jäsenet todennäköisesti tulevat ajamaan Open Societyn [Sorosin rahoittama kulttuurimarxistijärjestö] tavoitteita. [...]

Mikäli europarlamentaarikon nimi mainitaan tällä listalla, tukee hän mitä todennäköisimmin Open Societyn työtä. [...]

Keskustaoikeistosta luotettavimmat liittolaiset

Silmiinpistävää on se, että monikulttuurisuutta ja muita "vasemmistolaisiksi" yleensä miellettyjä arvoja kannattava Soros pitää nimilistan perusteella keskustaoikeistoa luotettavimpana liittolaisryhmänä.

Dokumentti sisältää lyhyet luonnehdinnat poliitikoista. Esimerkiksi Sirpa Pietikäinen on juutalaismiljardöörin mieleen siksi, että hän on "kiinnostunut LGBTI-asioista" eli hän lobbaa homojen puolesta. Olli Rehn saa Open Societyltä tukea sen sijaan siksi, että hän on "erittäin EU-integraatiomyönteinen" ja koska hän kannattaa TTIP-pankkiylivaltasopimusta.

Sarvamaa saa kiitosta puolestaan "edistyksellisistä arvoistaan". Kuten vuosi sitten uutisoimme, on Sarvamaa ilmoittanut olevansa valmis ottamaan vastuun suomalaisen kulttuurimme tuhosta, kunhan pakolaisvirta vain jatkuu.

Soros käyttää talousrikoksilla haalimiaan rahojaan aktiivisesti hyväksi taistelussaan Euroopan kansakuntien kulttuuria, verenperintöä ja itsemääräämisoikeutta vastaan. Suursijoittaja on valmis liittoutumaan niin oikeistokonservatiivien kuin äärivasemmiston kanssa, mikäli nämä allekirjoittavat Open Societyn eurooppalaisvastaiset arvot.

Pakolaiskriisin räjähdettyä Soros on yllyttänyt eurooppalaisvaltioita paisuttamaan julkista velkaansa ja elättämään mahdollisimman suuria elintasopakolaisjoukkoja. Näin Soros tappaa kaksi kärpästä yhdellä iskulla: Euroopan väestönvaihto ruokkii eurooppalaisvaltioiden velkaorjuutta, jolla suursijoittaja tekee jatkuvasti bisnestä.

Mielenkiintoista onkin miten Soros tukee ennen kaikkea keskustalaisia ja kokoomuslaisia suomalaisia poliitikkoja, vaikka vasemmistolaiset edustavat paremmin Sorosin linjaa. Suomalaisista Reliable allies in the European Parliament (2014 – 2019) listalla ovat Heidi Hautala, Miapetra Kumpula-Natri, Sirpa Pietikäinen, Olli Rehn, Petri Sarvamaa, Paavo Väyrynen ja Henna Virkkunen.

Listalla eivät ole Jussi Halla-aho, Pirkko Ruohonen-Lerner, Liisa Jaakonsaari, Anneli Jäätteenmäki, Nils Torvalds, Merja Kyllönen. Eikä Rehnin tilalle mennyt Hannu Takkula.

Ymmärtääkseen George Sorosin todellisia toimia, pitäisi ymmärtää paremmin Open Society Instituten toimintaa. Varsinkin poliitikkojen rahoitus ja lobbaaminen tietylle ajattelulle myötämieliseksi tuntuu olevan päätavoite, mutta järjestö tuntuu olevan monessa mukana.

Open Society Institute (Avoimen yhteiskunnan instituutti) on kansallisten Soros Foundationien hallinnollinen ydin. Instituutti on perustettu vuonna 1994. Sitä rahoittaa ja johtaa George Soros. Säätiön tavoitteisiin kuuluu mm. demokraattisen hallinnon, ihmisoikeuksien sekä sosiaalisten uudistusten edistäminen. Paikallistasolla säätiö pyrkii edistämään lainsäädännön noudattamista, julkista terveydenhuoltoa, koulutusta sekä vaihtoehtoisia tiedotusvälineitä. Lisäksi säätiö osallistuu korruption vastaiseen taisteluun eri alueilla.

Säätiö toimi Itä-Euroopassa 1980-1990-lukujen vaihteessa, jotka kävivät läpi vallankumoukset kommunismista suoraan fundamentalistiseen kapitalismiin. Naomi Kleinin mukaan ns. shokkiterapian taustalla oli paitsi Jefferey Sachs myös George Soros. Suomessa säätiötä johtaa lakiasiainjohtaja Minna Järvenpää. Säätiön nimi on peräisin Karl Popperilta.

–Koska realismia on se, että me tulemme saamaan paljon maahanmuuttajia Eurooppaan.

Vastaanottokyvyn parantamiseksi EU tarvitsee Vanhasen mukaan lisää yhteistyötä. Nykyisten kontrolloimattomien turvapaikanhakijoiden tuloreittien tilalle tarvitaan Vanhasen mukaan järjestelmä, jossa pakolaisstatus pystytään myöntämään jo Afrikan puolella. Se tarkoittaisi myös sitä, että Euroopan maat sitoutuisivat vastaanottamaan järjestelmän kautta pakolaisia.

–Siinä on kummallinen paradoksi, kun eniten maahanmuuttoa kritisoivat kannattavat kaikkein vähiten tehokkaita keinoja, joilla haetaan unionin yhteistyön tiivistämistä, yhteisvastuuta ja maakohtaisten kiintiöiden asettamista. Tällaisissa kysymyksissä unionin yhteistyötä pitää tehostaa.

Suomalaisista Reliable allies in the European Parliament (2014 – 2019) listalla ovat Heidi Hautala, Miapetra Kumpula-Natri, Sirpa Pietikäinen, Olli Rehn, Petri Sarvamaa, Paavo Väyrynen ja Henna Virkkunen.

Listalla eivät ole Jussi Halla-aho, Pirkko Ruohonen-Lerner, Liisa Jaakonsaari, Anneli Jäätteenmäki, Nils Torvalds, Merja Kyllönen. Eikä Rehnin tilalle mennyt Hannu Takkula.

Mielenkiintoista mitkä nimet listalta puuttuvat.

Nyt ei ymmärrä. Käsittäkseni mainitut nimet ovat yrittäneet "parhaansa", paitsi Halla-aho.

Medborgarjournalisten Bechir Rabani har avlidit, bekräftar Megafonerna som han var med och drev. Dödsorsaken är ännu okänd, men flera teorier om saken sprids på nätet.

Dödsbeskedet kom strax efter att Bechir Rabani släppt en film där han gjorde hembesök hos den kände medieprofilen och mångmiljonären Robert Aschberg.

Strax före dödsfallet uppgav Rabani i sociala medier att han skulle släppa fler uppgifter som Aschberg mejlat och bemött före publicering, men dessa uppgifter hann alltså inte publiceras innan han dog.

Rabani oli kertonut toiselle toimittajalle saaneensa varoituksen pari viikkoa sitten kontaktiltaan turvallisuusorganisaatiossa. Peli näyttää koventuvan.

Lienen aliarvioineeni rahan vallan. Olen taipuvainen selittämään ilmiöitä uskonnolla ja kulttuurilla, vaan follow the money lienee sittenkin parhaimpia selityksiä ilmiöön jos toiseenkin. Money talks bullshit walks.

Väyrysellä on myös maailmaa halaavia ajatuksia mutta ne keskittyvät kehitysmaiden ihmisten elämän parantamiseen siellä kehitysmaissa.
Hän tästä puolestaan mainitsikin tv:n vaalitentissä ja vertasi itseään siinä vihreiden Pekka Haavistoon ja kuva leikkasi Haavistoon joka nyökytteli.

Mitä tulee maahanmuuttopolitiikkaan niin Väyrynen kannattaa tiukkaa maahanmuuttopolitiikkaa jossa rajat suljetaan tarvittaessa, turvapaikanhakijoita ei houkutella Suomeen useiden turvallisten maiden halki ja matalapalkkaiset työperäisetkin mamut pidetään kotimaissaan ja työllistetään suomalaisia.

Yleensä noita maailmaa halaavia ajatuksia viljelevät vain poliitikot jotka myös vaativat rajat auki politiikkaa ja mahdollisimman nopeasti mahdollisimman paljon maahanmuuttajia joten luulen että Väyrynen oli sorosin listalla tuosta syystä ja myös koska ALDE jossa keskusta ja Värynenkin istuu europarlamentissa on täynnä rajat auki hihhuleita muista maista eli keskustan viiteryhmä on europarlamentissa erikoinen.

Väyrynen on ollut oman tiensä kulkija ja mielestään aina oikeassa eikä ole istunut mihinkään muottiin koko poliittisen uransa aikana.
Väyrysen ja Suomen tragedia on että Väyrynen on ollut oikeasti hyvin usein oikeassa mutta politiikka on mennyt suomessa group-thinkin mukaan ja polittiikkaan on mahtunut vain yksi totuus.

Yhdet totuudet ovat aina johtaneet ongelmiin.

Suomi ja suomalaiset voisivat paljon paremmin jos olisimme ETA:ssa (jonka jäseniksi liityimme ennen EU:ta ja joka antoi euroopan laajuisen vapaakaupan, opiskelijavaihdon ja työvoiman vapaan liikkumisen) ja meillä olisi oma valuutta eli kelluva markka jonka arvo määräytyisi markkinoilla ja laskisi kun taloudella menee huonosti antaen siten taloudelle puhtia ja lisää kilpailukykyä (2002-2004 ja 2008-2016) ja nousisi kun taloudella menee hyvin (2005-2007 ja 2017) jarruttaen poliitikkojen hyvänolon tunnetta joka johtaa aina yli varojen elämiseen ja järjettömiin päätöksiin.

Vuosi 2017 oli mielestäni kuin 2007.
Saa nähdä onko vuosi 2018 kuin 2008 eli vuosi jolloin pudotus alkaa...
