Memphis, Tn - Memphis police say two men involved in a violent rape attack are still on the loose tonight. An arrest warrant says Cornelius Banks and Kristopher Sample, along with two other unidentified men, recently attacked three men inside a North Memphis home. Banks faces several charges, including Aggravated Rape. He oddly, may also be a victim in this confusing case.

Christopher Sims says his friend was recently attacked after four armed men forced their way into his North Memphis home. "He said some guys came up here, robbed him and raped him and stuff," says Sims. Sims' friend and two other men were inside. An arrest warrant says the suspects (Banks, Sample, and two others) tied up, sodomized and beat the men for nine hours.

So far, Memphis Police have charged Banks. He faces several charges, including Aggravated Rape and Aggravated Kidnapping. Court documents say Banks, and the other men beat the victims with a broom handle and baseball bat. They stole items and then left the house with the victims inside, but then later returned to the home. This time, Sims says his friend was prepared, having acquired firearms while the attackers were away.

"He said they came back and he said they were shooting at his house," says Sims. "He shot them through his wall, and shot 20 rounds at them fearing for his life." Police say two men were hit, Banks and Christopher Sample. The other two assailants got away. While Banks was released from the hospital, police say Sample is still in critical condition. Court documents identify Sample as banks co-defendant in the vicious assault at the home, charges are expected.

Likely out of fear, police say no one reported the nine-hours of violent sexual assaults at the home. Now, those victims could face charges for firing back at the men who once tortured them.
