Linkin takaa tietoa Depo-Proverasta, lääkkeestä jota etiopialaisnaisille annettiin Israelissa:

Israeliin mahtaa tulla ihan samanlaista "vaaroja pakenevaa" porukkaa.

Turvallisempaa afrikkalaisilla sitäpaitsi on Afrikassa, Iranin ydinaseet sojottavat Israeliin ja Syyriassa mahtaa kemiallisilla aseilla olla sama maalitaulu mitä nyt ensin omillaan vähän harjoittelevat.

Israel ei hirveesti piittaa kansainvälisistä sopimuksista

Israel noudattaa kansainvälisiä sopimuksia siinä missä muutkin sivistyneet länsimaat. Israel on sellaisten valtioiden piirittämä, jotka eivät todellakaan piittaa kansainvälisistä sopimuksista tai ylipäänsä mistään muustakaan.

QuoteHuman rights groups in Israel said on Monday that a campaign is in violation of United Nations policy.

Policy <> sopimus. YK ei ole mikään poliisi tai maailmanhallitus.

Sitten kannattaa kelata mielessään muutama sekunti, keitä nämä 'Human rights groups in Israel' ovat, mitkä ovat niiden motiivit ja kuka rahoittaa?

Hullujen rättipäiden agendalla on Israelin tuhoaminen. Aseelliset kokeilut ovat epäonnistuneet. Heikosti järjestäytyneiden mellastajien aseistaminen Libanonissa meni persiilleen.

Taikakaulin

Kuukauden vanha uutinen, mutta ajankohtainen:

QuoteIsrael says it won't forcibly deport illegal African migrants, but it wants them to leave

In the empty desert, workers are building an answer to a difficult question: What should Israel, a nation built by Jewish refugees, do about the 55,000 African migrants who entered this country illegally, fleeing famine, bondage and war?

The newly constructed "open facility" is designed to hold up to 3,300 illegal immigrants. It is not a prison, but not exactly a shelter, either. Residents will be required to answer roll call three times a day. They are not allowed to seek work. The facility is surrounded by a fence topped with spools of razor wire, and the migrants will be locked down at night.

The Israelis do not want to forcibly deport the "infiltrators," as they are called here. Nor do they want them to stay. The country is looking for ways to push the Africans to leave voluntarily, and the detention facility is one way to give them a shove.

The struggle over what to do with the asylum seekers, refugees and others who entered the country illegally parallels similar debates in Europe and the United States. But in Israel, the issue is further complicated by religion.

As a Jewish state, the country welcomes Jews from around the globe who would like to move here, providing generous subsidies and language training to ease their way. Israel absorbed tens of thousands of Jews from Ethiopia over the past three decades, spending billions to integrate people who had been living an agrarian lifestyle into this fast-paced, high-tech society.

But the Africans who have poured into Israel in recent years are Muslim and Christian. They arrived in a land already engulfed in a struggle between two peoples, Arabs and Jews. Israel is especially attractive to migrants from Eritrea, Sudan and other African countries, officials here say, because Israel is the only Western-style democracy with a thriving economy that Africans can reach on foot. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that the influx could imperil Israel's ability to remain both a Jewish and a democratic state.

"There are currently around 30 million people moving around Africa, people who have left their home countries and are looking for a place to be," Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar said at a hearing in the Knesset, Israel's parliament. "We can all understand that pressure, but if we are too liberal, then we will lose the country. We will lose the only Jewish country that exists."

Sweden accepts dozens of Eritrean asylum seekers from Israel

Interior ministry announcement comes on the third day of a strike by African asylum seekers, with thousands gathering in Tel Aviv park to protest.

As a strike by tens of thousands of African asylum seekers against Israel's migration policies entered its third day on Tuesday, Interior Minister Gideon Sa'ar announced that dozens of Eritrean asylum seekers had left Israel voluntarily in recent weeks for Sweden.

The announcement did not specify the number of those who had left for Sweden. The majority were apparently women, many of whom had been victims of torture and human trafficking and who had been imprisoned in Israel for a long time.

Sweden agreed to take them in response to a special request by the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) and to include them in a resettlement plan, due to their special circumstances.

Tens of thousands of migrants stayed away from work Tuesday, as the strike went into its third day. Many of them gathered at Levinsky Park, in south Tel Aviv, to discuss their future action. Among the moves considered were marching toward Jerusalem, Saharonim prison and the Holot detention center in the Negev.

The Interior Ministry said the migrants left for Sweden in the context of a government incentive scheme and were granted $3,500 each upon departure. They are encouraged to leave Israel voluntarily and to promise not to return.

An attorney dealing with residence and migration issues criticized Sa'ar's announcement. "Asylum seekers who were sent to Sweden did not leave as part of the Ministry's voluntary departure process, but as part of the efforts of the UNHCR to resettle people who qualify as refugees," said Oded Feller, who heads the division dealing with residence status and migration in the Association for Civil Rights in Israel.

"It's not clear what the Interior Ministry take pride in. Sweden only resettles people with refugee status who are not afforded adequate protection in countries they find themselves in. The fact that Sweden took in 50 refugees proves yet again that Israel is the only country that doesn't recognize Eritrean asylum seekers as refugees, and that other countries feel that Israel is not fulfilling its obligations under the Refugee Convention," Feller said.

Sa'ar chose to make his announcement in the midst of the strike, despite the transferral to Sweden having occurred a few weeks ago. The announcement stated that "several dozen infiltrators from Eritrea have left for Sweden over the past few weeks, as part of a process of voluntary departure. This is the first time infiltrators were sent to Sweden. Their departure was coordinated with the Swedish government after an agreement between Interior Minister Sa'ar and the UN High Commissioner for Refugees. The infiltrators left voluntarily with the assistance of the Population and Immigration Authority, getting $3,500 each."
The ministry spokesman said that in 2013, 2,612 migrants from Africa left Israel as part of this voluntary departure process. Of those, 1,955 were from Eritrea and Sudan.

QuoteAfrikkalaisia Israelista Ruandaan

Israel ja Ruanda neuvottelevat mahdollisuudesta lähettää Israeliin saapuneita afrikkalaisia turvapaikanhakijoita Ruandaan. Tiedon vahvisti huhtikuun alussa Ruandan presidentti Paul Kagame, kertoo The East African -lehti. Vastineeksi Ruandan uskotaan saavan edullisia lainoja ja sopimuksia.

Israelissa on yli 50 000 afrikkalaista turvapaikanhakijaa tai ilman oleskelulupaa olevaa afrikkalaista siirtolaista. Heistä suuri osa saapui maahan muutamassa vuodessa ennen kesää 2013, jolloin Israel rakensi Egyptin vastaiselle rajalle aidan.

Ruandalle tuo on yhdentekevä juttu.

Israel's Interior Ministry has banned 1,200 African asylum seekers, set to be released from the controversial Holot detention center this week, from travelling to the city of Tel Aviv and the port city of Eilat.

The Israeli High Court of Justice ruled earlier this month that authorities could not hold asylum seekers in the detention center for longer than 12 months and those who have been held for more than a year were to be released within 15 days of the ruling.

The migrants are therefore due to be released this week over the course of two days—600 on Tuesday and 600 on Wednesday. Approximately 500 asylum seekers who have been held for less than a year in Holot will remain in the detention center.

Upon their departure from the center, they will be issued with temporary residence permits and identity cards which will restrict their access to both the cities. The order was given by Israeli interior minister, Silvan Shalom, the Times of Israel reported. If any of the migrants, regularly referred to by Israeli authorities as "infiltrators", are found to be present in the cities they will be sent to another prison facility, Saharonim in the Negev Desert in southern Israel.

At their current detention center, Holot, migrants must report to a roll call twice a day but are able to leave the facility during the daytime, but in Saharonim they will not be allowed to leave at all. An amendment to the Israeli 'Anti-Infiltration Law' in December 2014 put the maximum time one can be held at the prison at three months.

Gerry Simpson, senior refugee researcher and advocate at Human Rights Watch, criticised the move by the Israeli government as an unlawful attempt to coerce the migrants into continuing their lives anywhere but Israel. "The authorities can only limit people's movement—whether Israelis or foreign nationals—if they can show it's the least restrictive measure necessary to protect national security, public order, or public health," he says.

"So far, all we've seen are media reports of the Interior Ministry's decision to issue people released from Holot with permits banning them from entering Tel Aviv and Eilat, without any apparent lawful reason," he adds. "At this stage this therefore looks like the latest of a series of unlawful measures aimed at making Eritreans' and Sudanese' lives so miserable that they leave Israel." The majority of African refugees who have arrived in Israel have settled in Tel Aviv, according to Human Rights Watch's 2014 report entitled Make Their Lives Miserable.

Figures provided by the NGO show that 64,498 African nationals had "irregularly" entered Israel between January 2006 and the end of 2013, of which 49,000 were Eritreans and Sudanese, a fifth of the total number of foreign nationals in Israel. In mid-June 2014, approximately 2,500 Eritreans and Sudanese were in detention in Israel.

Israel's High Court ruled earlier this month to reject a petition by Israeli NGOs against the anti-infiltration law. The Holot detention center is controversial within Israel as authorities were previously permitted to detain asylum seekers there indefinitely without trial, before this was restricted to 20 months last December and then lowered to one year earlier in August, albeit still without a trial.

In April, it was revealed that Israel's Interior Ministry would offer Eritrean and Sudanese asylum seekers the chance to "willingly" leave Israel to travel to an unidentified third country, believed to be either Uganda or Rwanda, or face a hearing and prison if they did not leave within 30 days.

"This move will encourage infiltrators to leave the borders of Israel in a safe and dignified manner, and will serve as an effective tool to fulfill our duty to the citizens of Israel—and south Tel Aviv in particular—to restore the fabric of life they were accustomed to," Interior Minister Gilad Erdan said following the decision in April.

However, a Haaretz freedom of information request showed that of 8,335 Eritrean and Sudanese asylum seekers who left Israel in the last two and a half years, two-thirds had returned to the home countries they were attempting to flee and not "safe" third countries as the government claims.

Israel reportedly has the lowest asylum acceptance rate in the Western world, with less than 0.15% of asylum claims accepted since 2009.

An Interior Ministry spokesperson was not immediately available for comment.

Correction: This article previously stated that 64,498 foreign nationals had entered into Israel between January 2006 and 2013. It has been amended to show that the figure represents African nationals.

Over the past few years, urban neighborhoods throughout Europe have been overtaken by refugees and illegal immigrant populations. Crime has risen, local populations have lost their sense of security, and areas have become no-go zones for police. South Tel Aviv is on the precipice of becoming like these European cities. Yet the media remains silent, and the ruling class are oblivious to the situation.

Last week's violent acts in South Tel Aviv are not sporadic instances, but tragically have become the norm. Last week, during a protest involving illegal immigrant groups, residents of South Tel Aviv and local police were ridiculed and berated by illegal immigrants who screamed 'the police are ISIS', 'this is not your country', 'your country is sh-t', 'you are not a Jew'. Many police were needed to quell the demonstrations, which turned violent towards the end, as illegal immigrants began attacking residents filming the protest. In previous documented cases, illegal immigrants are seen hitting an elderly Israeli with a wood plank, while in other instances saying "the Nazis should be thanked" and showing admiration for Hitler.

Sheffi Paz, a resident of South Tel Aviv and a leading activist against illegal immigration, has received death threats on her Facebook account on more than one occasion.

The rapes, violence, intimidation, and the lost sense of security, intensify the feeling that South Tel Aviv is losing its Israeli character. This feeling is backed by a report published by the Knesset Research and Information Center (KRIC) last June which estimated that the illegal immigrant population in South Tel Aviv is greater than the Israeli population. This assessment was based on information received from different branches in the Tel Aviv municipality. It estimated that at the beginning of 2016, the illegal immigrant population in South Tel Aviv numbered between 48,000-60,000 people, whereas the Israeli population in that area is 39,150 according to 2014 statistics, with those numbers declining annually.

Yet, it is possible that the gap is even greater.

In response to KRIC's request for additional information, the Tel Aviv municipality admitted that it lacks statistics regarding births and deaths among the illegal immigrant population as well as a realistic count of the children. In an effort to reach an accurate number of illegal immigrant children, KRIC crosschecked information from the Tel Aviv municipality and statistics from the Ministry of Health, and concluded that there were an estimate of 3,600 illegal immigrant children below age six, as opposed to Israeli children in that same age group numbering 2,960.

But the statistics from the Ministry of Health express the reality of the illegal immigrant takeover of South Tel Aviv. The Israeli government runs medical care clinics for children throughout the country monitoring children's progress and providing all necessary vaccinations and other treatment. Throughout Tel Aviv, 3,512 illegal immigrant children were treated at these clinics, which represent 12% of all children treated in Tel Aviv. On the surface, this number may seem negligible. However, of these 3,512 children, only 111 of them were treated at clinics located outside of South Tel Aviv. For example, in one South Tel Aviv clinic, 1,698 illegal immigrant children were treated, which accounted for 94% of the children treated at that clinic. Thus a situation has been created where South Tel Aviv has begun to look like Africa, while residents in Central and North Tel Aviv are completely oblivious to the situation.

The increase in percentage of illegal immigrants than Israelis in South Tel Aviv has also been a result of Israelis fleeing the area. Between the years 2010-2014, 3,000 Israelis moved out of four South Tel Aviv neighborhoods.

The KRIC could not provide a reason for the migration, however conversations with residents have turned up one reason: the illegal immigration population.

A resident who refused to be identified said that she left the 'Tikva' neighborhood of South Tel Aviv due to the lawlessness. "It's as if we don't live in Israel. My daughter experienced sexual harassment almost on a daily basis. Her friends from school were afraid to come to our house. After 7 pm, we are confined to our house, and if we have to leave for whatever reason, our hands shake with fear. I'm not even referring to the fact that illegal immigrants have completely taken over public areas, shout obscenities at us on a daily basis, make sexual comments to my daughter, or that they disrespect our Jewish traditions. Since we have moved out, my kids are flourishing and are happy again. We were saddened that we had to leave, this was the neighborhood that I grew up in."

While the demographics issue can be quantified, the personal sense of security cannot. In 2015, the police commissioned a survey of residents in South Tel Aviv. Although surveys are not always reliable, the results were jaw dropping. 62% of Israelis in South Tel Aviv are afraid to leave their homes at night, 40% don't feel safe in their homes, and 34% worry they will be a victim of assault, whether it be physical or verbal threats. 20% of victims don't even report crimes due to lack of faith in the police. In 2012, at a time when the illegal immigration population was much smaller in number, the Tel Aviv police chief testified that illegal immigrants were involved in more than 60% of robberies and sexual assault cases in South Tel Aviv.

The illegal immigrant population is also becoming an economic burden on the residents of Tel Aviv. In 2015, the Tel Aviv municipality allocated approximately $18,000,000 for taking care of illegal immigrants, a 40% increase from 2013. According to Haim Goren, a member of Tel Aviv's city council, the figure will be close to $30,000,000 in the 2017 budget. This money is used primarily for creating daycare centers for the thousands of illegal immigrant children. Goren mentions that the conversion of many buildings to daycare centers is coming at the expense of the other needs of Israeli residents. For example, a recent request for a center to help teens at risk could not be granted due to lack of building space in the area.

This isn't the first time this issue has been raised. In 2013, Arye Shua, a senior member of the Tel Aviv municipality, testified in the Knesset that public funds are being spent on illegal immigrants at the expense of the local residents, which is causing much frustration. He added that the municipality is unable to invest in South Tel Aviv's infrastructure, since all plans needed to be canceled due to the ongoing need to allocate more funds to the illegal immigrant population.

The illegal immigration population is far from only being a South Tel Aviv problem, the recent numbers of illegal immigrants settling in Petah Tikva, a few miles east of Tel Aviv, has begun to become a problem. Many of the recent illegal immigrants to that area have been from Ukraine and Georgia. The Interior Ministry has created a set of directives to facilitate returning these immigrants to their country of origin, yet any attempt to return illegal immigrants from Africa to their country has been met with numerous appeals to the high court by left wing organizations, and the judges have accepted most of these appeals. These judicial rulings have in essence facilitated the creation of a permanent illegal immigration population in the heart of Israel.

Soon the Israeli Supreme Court will decide on a recent appeal by left wing organizations against an Israeli government decision that would permit authorities to transfer illegal immigrants to a third country. A court ruling against the government in this case will signal the creation of an extra-territorial Sudanese-Eritrean enclave only a 15 minute walk from Independence Hall, the building where the State of Israel was declared 70 years ago.

This revolution is happening in the heart of Israel and only a mile from its central business hub. The refusal of the mainstream media to report on the plight of South Tel Aviv residents, and the ruling class turning a blind eye, has left a majority of Israelis in the dark as to the severity of the situation. Those who have urged the government to take action have been overcome by a judiciary system bending over backwards to facilitate the illegal immigrant population and erode the Jewish identity of the state. If this can happen in Israel, a country whose Jewish national identity has never been in question, then no country is immune.

QuoteAfrican asylum seekers wait in vain to enter the Promised Land

After fleeing their war-torn countries, genocide and repressive regimes, many of the estimated 45,000 African asylum seekers in Israel face formidable resistance from state institutions and are stuck in legal limbo from the day they arrive.

Mostly coming from Eritrea and Sudan, they hope to obtain asylum in Israel in greater numbers than in previous years after turmoil in Libya in 2011 made the route through Libya to Europe nearly impossible.

Israel has recognised fewer than 1 per cent of asylum claims, the lowest percentage in the Western world, and has been notoriously sluggish in assessing asylum claims. It granted refugee status to only one Sudanese and to a handful of Eritreans. The overwhelming majority remain in a vulnerable situation, in constant fear of detention, forced deportation and under pressure to be "voluntarily" deported.

According to international law, countries cannot deport asylum seekers without first assessing their individual asylum claims to determine if refugee status is applicable. For Israel to be able to forcefully deport ineligible asylum seekers in greater numbers, it would also have to start assessing more asylum requests and so grant refugee status to those with legitimate claims.

According to the Israeli NGO Assaf, Eritreans and Sudanese, who comprise 90 per cent of the asylum-seeking population in Israel, receive relatively high recognition rates as refugees around the world (88 and 64 per cent respectively). However, the current rate of refugee status recognition in Israel is 0.2 per cent.

Instead of assessing each individual claim for refugee status, as the non-profit Right Now explains, Israel groups asylum seekers from Eritrea and Sudan under a policy of "temporary collective protection". With this, Israel "acknowledges the danger in these two countries and does not deport asylum seekers there. Asylum seekers are given deferred deportation orders, making their stay in Israel legal."

However, this is not refugee status and so "does not allow them access to formal work permits, health care or welfare services. Asylum seekers are thus stuck in a legal limbo; while allowed to remain in the country, they lack the necessary access to survive, advance and integrate."

Israel argues that the purpose of its existence is to absorb Jewish migrants and refugees, and that many other countries can absorb non-Jewish refugees with better chances at successful integration. Officials, including Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, label African asylum seekers "infiltrators" whose presence could threaten Israel's "existence as a Jewish and democratic state" and argue almost all are economic migrants and so do not need asylum.

It is a widely held view. In 2012, some 86 per cent of Israelis polled said they viewed African migrants as "a danger to Israel". However, in a ruling on a detention facility for asylum seekers, Israeli Supreme Court justice Edna Arbel stated that "studies show the crime level among African migrants is lower than that of [Israeli] society in general".

Asylum seekers and Israeli activists say the measures are meant to break their spirits into accepting $US3500 from the Israeli government's "voluntary deportation" scheme. This involves being deported to an undisclosed country where safety - especially from being deported to their country of origin, where they face imprisonment and death - is far from guaranteed. Reports indicate Uganda and Rwanda have received arms, military training, agricultural assistance or money for taking in Israel's unwanted asylum seekers.

The decision to leave Israel is often the culmination of a painful road that begins much earlier on. After many are tortured and imprisoned during their quest for asylum, upon arrival in Israel many are ordered, without trial, to spend as much as a year in the Holot detention facility in the Negev desert. The camp is an "open prison" where inmates can go out, but must be back before the 10pm headcount or face transfer to a closed prison. Any single male asylum seeker under the age of 60 can be arbitrarily sent to Holot.

Europe seems to be indirectly employing similar punitive policies to those favoured by Israel and Australia, with Greece becoming the European equivalent to Australia's offshore island prisons and dragging its feet in helping process asylum seekers' applications, condemning thousands to uncertainty.

Hungary is detaining asylum seekers in closed camps surrounded with razor wire. Germany recently announced plans to offer up to €1200 ($1780) each to asylum seekers to voluntarily return home.

In a historic analysis of the 1938 Evian conference, at which countries from around the world gathered in France to discuss the plight of Jewish refugees on the cusp of World War II, Imogen Wall explains that a "key concern was the destabilising effect that large numbers of refugees might have on society, driven by the perception that they would be unable to assimilate, a notion that is still front and centre of the current debate over the Syrian refugee crisis. 'We have no real racial problem,' declared the Australian representative at Evian, T.W. White. 'We are not desirous of importing one'."

But, Wall adds, "today's politicians, in addition to operating in the post-1951 framework of international humanitarian law regarding refugees, have access to a wealth of data and analysis that their 1938 counterparts did not, particularly that assimilation is possible and that refugees tend to bring net economic benefits".

"One key lesson from Evian", she concludes, is that "failing to tackle a mass refugee problem is a decision that is neither neutral nor without consequences."
