Lontoon metron pommi-iskusta epäilty 18-vuotias turvapaikanhakija kertoi keskiviikkona oikeudessa, että äärijärjestö Isis koulutti hänet terroritekoihin. Nuorukaisen mukaan hänet siepattiin Irakissa ja koulutettiin terroristiksi ennen kuin Irakin sotilaat vapauttivat hänet.

Nuorukainen saapui oman kertomuksensa mukaan Britanniaan lokakuussa 2015 Kanaalitunnelin kautta Ranskasta ja haki maasta turvapaikkaa. Hänen epäillään tehneen pommin, joka räjähti viime vuoden syyskuussa Parsons Greenin asemalla. Pommi haavoitti ainakin 30:tä ihmistä. Monet heistä saivat pahoja palovammoja.

Nuorukainen jäi myöhemmin kiinni Doverin satamakaupungissa. Hän tunnusti teon poliiseille. Oikeudenkäynti on edelleen kesken.

Iraqi Who Arrived in UK as 'Child Refugee' Built Parsons Green Bomb to Cause 'Maximum Harm and Carnage'

An Iraqi asylum seeker, who illegally entered the UK in the back of a lorry when he was 16, packed a bomb with knives, nails, and bolts to cause "maximum harm and carnage", a court has heard.

Ahmed Hassan, 18, is accused of attempted murder and causing an explosion likely to endanger life for the September 2017 Parsons Green Tube Station attack when a device stuffed with shrapnel and the chemical explosive TATP (triacetate triperoxide) partially detonated in a train carriage, injuring 30 people.

Prosecutor Alison Morgan told the jurors at the Old Bailey on Wednesday that the Iraqi asylum seeker packed the bomb with nearly 5lbs of bolts, knives, nails, screws, screwdrivers, and sockets to cause "maximum harm and carnage to those in the surrounding area", the BBC reports.

"There were approximately 93 people in the carriage when the device detonated," Ms. Morgan said, describing the incident which occurred at 8:20am, September 15th, 2017.

"The partial explosion created a large fireball. Some in the carriage were caught by the flames and sustained significant burns.

"Many ran in fear and panic. They were fortunate. Had the device fully detonated, it is inevitable that serious injury and significant damage would have been caused within the carriage," she added.

The jury saw CCTV footage from inside the train which showed the fireball engulf the carriage and commuters ducking from the flames.

The court also heard of the ensuing stampede where hundreds of commuters, including school children, ran "in fear and panic" down the narrow staircase out of the station during morning rush hour.

The Iraqi had allegedly packed the shrapnel in a white builder's bucket, which was then placed into a Lidl grocery chiller bag.

The TATP, also known as the "mother of Satan", the Islamic State's explosive of choice, was placed in a Tupperware container and a blue glass vase, both of which were put inside the bucket with a crude timer, then covered in dark fabric and a pair of trousers.

Hassan got off the District Line train at Putney Bridge Station leaving the device behind, the prosecutor told the jury.

Tarinoita kuitenkin näyttää riittävän, ja kuinka paljon näitä sitten niellään ei käy uutisesta ilmi, mutta kaikkea ei syyttäjä sentään suostunut nielemään.

Britannian viranomaiset saivat varoituksen irakilaismiehestä, mutta radikalisoitumisen ehkäiseminen epäonnistui.

Irakista kotoisin oleva 18-vuotias nuorukainen on tuomittu murhan yrityksestä englantilaisessa tuomioistuimessa.

Mies teki viime syyskuussa pommi-iskun Lontoon metrossa, jolloin 30 ihmistä sai vammoja. Miehen rakentama pommi räjähti Parsons Greenin metroaseman kohdalla.

Pommin aiheuttama tuho olisi voinut olla paljon suurempikin, mutta miehen itse valmistama räjähde ei toiminut kunnolla. Räjähdys oli heikko, ja seurauksena oli enemmänkin voimakas tulipalo. Mies oli laittanut räjähteen yhteyteen metalliesineitä, jotka olisivat voineet aiheuttaa pahoja vammoja lähellä olleille. Metrovaunussa oli tuolloin 93 matkustajaa.

Mies oli jättänyt räjähteen sisältäneen, ajastimella varustetun muovipussin vaunuun ja poistunut edellisellä asemalla. Hän pakeni paikalta juosten, mutta jäi kiinni seuraavana päivänä.

Britannian yleisradioyhtiö BBC miehen tarinan.

Vuonna 1999 syntynyt nuorukainen oli menettänyt äitinsä hyvin nuorena. Hänen taksikuskina toiminut isänsä kuoli hieman myöhemmin, vuonna 2006, pommiräjähdyksessä. Poikaa kasvatti hänen setänsä. Poika teki jo nuorena ankarasti töitä ja lopetti koulunkäynnin 15-vuotiaana.

Poika kertoo pelänneensä Irakin kaaosta ja väkivaltaa, ja halunneensa paremman elämän. Hän matkusti teini-ikäisenä Turkkiin ja onnistui pääsemään salakuljettajan avulla Italiaan.

Hän vietti kaksi kuukautta Ranskan Calais'n viidakoksi kutsutussa maahanmuuttajien telttaleirissä, kunnes pääsi Britanniaan, missä hänen elinolonsa paranivat.

Vastaanottokeskuksessa hän kertoi, että terroristijärjestö Isis olisi siepannut hänet Irakissa ja "opettanut hänet tappamaan". Tämän seurauksena Britannian viranomaiset alkoivat selvittää hänen aikeitaan.

Tarina paljastui keksityksi. Nuorukaisen voimakas uskonnollisuus pantiin kuitenkin merkille ja hänet kirjattiin mukaan ohjelmaan, jossa pyrittiin estämään uskonnollista radikalisoitumista.

Hän ei tiettävästi silti saanut minkäänlaista apua. Oikeudenkäynnissä viranomaiset totesivatkin epäonnistuneensa ohjelman toteuttamisessa.

Mies aloitti median ja valokuvauksen opinnot Brooklands collegessa, Surreyssä. Miehen opettaja kertoi, että miehen mielentila oli erittäin huolestuttava. Mies oli "suuressa mielenkuohussa, peloissaan ja sekaisin".

Hänen kerrotaan kärsineen unettomuudesta ja masennuksesta. Hän oli myös erittäin ujo.

Hän sai asuinpaikan kasvatusvanhempien luona, mutta hänen suhteensa näihin jäi etäiseksi. Kasvatusvanhemmilla ei ollut aavistustakaan hänen aikeistaan rakentaa pommi.

Mies menestyi kuitenkin koulussa ja valittiin vuoden oppilaaksi. Saamallaan lahjakortilla hän osti viisi litraa vetyperoksidia pommin rakentamista varten.

Oikeudessa mies kertoi, ettei hänellä ollut aikomusta tappaa ketään, vaan sytyttää vain tulipalo. Hän kertoi olleensa äärimmäisen pitkästynyt ja halunneensa huomiota.

– Minulla oli päässäni fantasia. Fantasia ei ollut räjähdys, vaan se, että pakenen poliisia, hän kertoi.

Syyttäjä ei uskonut miehen puheita. Syyttäjän mielestä kyseessä oli laskelmoitu viharikos ja joukkomurhan yritys.

Miehen rangaistus julkistetaan myöhemmin.

Tutusta ympäristöstä lähdetään liikkeelle muka pelon vuoksi kun edessä on maailma jota olisi vielä enemmän syytä pelätä.
Mitäpä muutakaan siellä turvapaikassa sitten aletaan puuhastelemaan kuin juuri niitä pommi-iskuja joita lähdettiin itse mukamas pakenemaan.

En ole aiemmin ainakaan itse muistaakseni nähnyt tästä pommisattumusnuorukaisesta suoraa kasvokuvaa, joten laitoin sellaisen liitteeksi.

Ahmed Hassanin brittiläiset sijaisvanhemmat syyttävät sisäministeriötä heidän henkensä vaarantamisesta, sillä ennen sijoitusta oli jo tiedossa, että tämä tyyppi on terroristien kouluttama ja vihaa Iso-Britanniaa.

Foster parents of an Iraqi refugee last night demanded to know why he was left free to carry out a Tube bombing.

Ahmed Hassan, 18, entered Britain on the back of a lorry and admitted to Home Office officials that he was trained to kill by Islamic State.

But blunders meant he was placed with the loving couple, who had no idea about his links to the terror group as he secretly built a deadly bomb in their home with a YouTube recipe.

His victims and MPs yesterday questioned why he was let into the UK and why counter-terrorism officials failed to monitor him adequately.

The asylum seeker faces life in jail after being convicted yesterday of trying to kill 93 commuters with a homemade bomb on September 15. He will be sentenced next week.

Hassan plotted under the nose of the Government's anti-extremism programme Prevent, which appears to have failed to act for months despite repeated referrals. Months before the attack, there were signs he was bent on revenge on the UK, yet he slipped the net. Yesterday it emerged:

- His foster parents accused the Home Office and social services of putting their lives at risk

- Prevent faced questions on why Hassan was referred by charity workers a day after his immigration interview but, it is thought, no contact was made for eight months

- Hassan was never referred to MI5 despite being seen donating to IS and declaring it was his 'duty to hate Britain'

- He claimed he did not know the attack was wrong as he had Asperger's syndrome, but the Old Bailey judge blocked the defence as he was never formally diagnosed.

Parsons Greenin pommittaja, irakilainen Ahmed Hassan on tuomittu elinkautiseen vankeusrangaistukseen. Suosituksena vähintään 34 vuotta istumista. Iskussa loukkaantui yli 50 ihmistä.

Sitä en kyllä ymmärrä, että miksi tuomari puhuu suvakkipropagandaa "rauhan uskonnosta" oikeussalissa (kts. jutun loppu).

Teenager to serve at least 34 years for attempted murder after partial detonation on tube

A teenage Iraqi asylum seeker who planted a homemade bomb on a rush-hour London underground train has been jailed for life with a recommendation that he serve a minimum of 34 years.

Ahmed Hassan, who claims to be 18, was convicted of attempted murder after the device partially detonated at Parsons Green, west London, in September last year.

"Your desire and intention that morning was to kill as many members of the British public as possible," Mr Justice Haddon-Cave told Hassan. "I am satisfied that you were determined to cause as much death and carnage as possible."

Hassan had carried out the attack with "ruthless determination and almost military efficiency", said the judge. "There is no doubt in my mind that you are a very dangerous and devious individual."

More than 50 people were injured when a fireball swept through the carriage, burning passengers' skin, hair and clothing, or suffered crush injuries as people fell over each other while trying to escape.

Survivors spoke of feeling their faces being simultaneously burned and cut by flying glass.

On Friday, before Hassan was sentenced, the Old Bailey heard that survivors had sustained severe psychological trauma, and a number still avoided crowds and public transport, had difficulty sleeping and concentrating, and had a fear of fire and flames.

In a victim impact statement read to the court, Stephen Nash described how he did not stop shaking for a week and had since been forced to give up his social work job because he felt unable to board an underground train to come into the city.

Another, Lucinda Glazebrook, said she suffered from post-traumatic stress. "I believe I am a changed person. I thought I was going to die."

Aimee Colville said: "This incident has impacted on me emotionally, I always think every day is the last day."

Describing the way in which Hassan had slipped off the train before the device was due to explode, the judge said: "You wanted to save your own skin and were not prepared for shahada [martyrdom].

"You will have plenty of time to study the Qur'an in prison in the years to come. You should understand that the Qur'an is a book of peace, Islam is a religion of peace.

"You have violated the Qur'an and Islam by your actions, as well as the law of all civilised people. It is to be hoped that you will come to realise this one day."
