38,7 % 12-24 vuotiaista marokkolaisnuorista on joutunut poliisin kanssa tekemisiin vähintään kerran. Den Boschin, Zeist, Gouidan ja Veenendaalin kaupungeissa jopa yli 40%.

Myös marokkolaistytöt ovat huomattavasti yliedustettuina muihin väestönryhmiin verrattuna.

Over One in Three Young Moroccans Police Suspects

THE HAGUE, 10/11/11 - In municipalities with many Moroccan residents, an average of 38.7 percent of the Moroccan youngsters and men aged between 12 and 24 have landed up with the police one or more times. Girls are also forming a growing problem, public administration journal Binnenlands Bestuur reports.

Heading the list is Den Bosch. In this city, 47.7 percent of the 12-24 year old Moroccan youngsters and men have been crime suspects in the past five years. Next come Zeist with 47.3 percent, Gouda (46.3 percent), Veenendaal (44.9) and Amersfoort (44.6). The percentages in Maassluis, Oosterhout, Schiedam, Nijmegen, Utrecht, Ede, Leiden and Den Haag are also over 40. Crimes against property and crimes of violence predominate.

The figures come from a study by research institute Risbo of the Erasmus university in Rotterdam, commissioned by the home affairs ministry. As well as the 22 so-called Moroccan municipalities, Risbo also looked at the 22 municipalities where many Antilleans live. Nine towns are both Antillean and Moroccan municipalities.

Hollannin uusin integratioraportti on shokittanut anti-islamilaisen vapauspuolueen. Rapotti antaa todella shokeeraavan kuvan ei-länsimaisen nuorison rikollisuudesta. ( Kohmelo: "vähänkään Hollannin tilannetta seuranneille tässä ei oikeasti ole mitää uutta." )

SCP:n raportissa ilmenee mm.
- antillilais- ja marokkolaistaustaiset ovat miltei viisikertaa useammin epäiltynä rikoksista kuin hollantilaiset.
- 65% alle 23 vuotiaista marokkolaisnuorista on ollut poliisin kuulusteluissa jossain vaiheessa elämäänsä
- maahanmuuttajien työttömyys on 12%, kun valkoisilla natiiveiden työttömyys on 4,5%
- ei-länsimaalaiset maahanmuuttajat nostavat sosiaalitukia 6 kertaa todennäköisemmin
- 1/3 maahanmuuttajamuksuista jättää koulun kesken, natiiveista 18%

Vapauspuolueen lääkkeitä ongelmaan ovat:
- lakisääteiset minirangaistukset
- kansalaisuuden peruuttamiset
- sosiaalitukien poistaminen alle 27 vuotiailta
- perheen yhdistäminen rajoittaminen mm. sellaisista maista kuin Marokko.

Freedom Party shocked by integration report

Freedom Party MP Joram van Klaveren says the annual integration report from the Netherlands Institute for Social Research (SCP) paints a "shocking" picture of crime among non-Western ethnic minorities.

The SCP report is not due to be published until 8 February but, according to the anti-Islam Freedom Party, the figures show that Moroccans and Antilleans are more than five times as likely to be crime suspects as indigenous Dutch people.

"Apart from the most recent crime figures, the high levels of unemployment and the enormous dependence on state benefits are typical of the failure of integration. Non-Western minorities are almost three times as likely to be unemployed as the indigenous population, 12.6 percent compared with 4.5 percent."

Immigrant youth more likely to have police contact: SCP

A new report by the government's socio-cultural policy unit SCP paints a disturbing picture of the position of immigrant youngsters in Dutch society, according to television news companies which have seen a leaked copy.

The report, due to be published next week, shows that youths with a non-western background are much more likely to come into contact with the police than the native Dutch, the broadcasters say.

Mä en ymmärtänyt sanakaan mutta mun mielestä ne kommentit meni jotenkin näin:

Maahanmuuttokordinaattori: Suorastaan häpeällistä että nuorison tyytymättömyys on päästetty tähän tilaan. Lisäksi naispuolinen rasisti provosoi vakavasti kun ei pitänyt huntua päässä Sharia-alueella.

Poliisi: Olemme lähettäneet partion rasistin kotiin antamaan hänelle vakavan varoituksen ja määräyksen ilmoittautua suvaitsevaisuuskoulutukseen. Videolla on selvästi nähtävissä hänen korottavan ääntään uhreja kohtaan.

Maahanmuuttokordinaattori: Toinen asia, miksi tämän videon on annettu levitä ympäri internettiä ilman asianmukaista juontoa siitä mistä on kyse. Joku hollantilainen rasisti voi vielä ottaa ja käyttää tätä videota vähemmistöjen sortamiseen. Skandaali.

Poliisi: Ilmoitimme Youtubelle asiasta ja raakavideo on jo poistettu. Yritämme juuri tuottaa poliittisesti korrektin version tapahtumista missä asiat on laitettu oikeaan kontekstiin.

Marokkolaiset ovat samaa mieltä Wildersin kanssa siitä, että hollantilaismarkkolaiset nuoret ovat väkivaltaisia.

Monet marokkolaiset ovat samaa mieltä Greet Wildersin kanssa, että marokkalaishollantilaisen nuorison väkivalta on "marokkolainen ongelma". Väittämä perustuu RWN:n linjatuomarin pahoinpitelystä kertovaan artikkelin lukeneiden henkilöiden reaktioihin. RWN:n artikkeli julkaistiin myös Hespressissä (suositulla marokkolaisella web-sivustolla) ja se poiki välittömästi kylmää kyytiä hollanninmarokkolaisille. Sivuston kymmenissä Marokkossa ja ulkomailla asuvien henkilöiden kommentit eivät ole mitenkään mairittelevia kuten: "Wilders on rasisti, mutta hän on oikeassa."

Vaikkakin suurin osa vastaajista pitää Wildersiä rasistina eikä kaikki usko hänen tarjoavan mitään ratkaisua ongelmaan, kokevat he kuitnekin Wildersin olevan väittämineen oikeassa. Toiset taas näkevät väkivaltaisen ja rikollisen käyttäytymisen johtuvan menttaliteetin eroista tai marokkolaisesta kulttuurista luopumisesta.

Jotkut kirjoittajat vaativa marokkolaisyhteisön on aika luopua tekosyiden etsimisestä ja uhrina esiintymisestä.

Moroccans agree with Wilders about violent Moroccan-Dutch youths

Many Moroccans agree with Geert Wilders, the leader of the populist Freedom Party, who recently stated that the violence being committed by Moroccan-Dutch youths in the Netherlands is a "Moroccan problem". The assertion is based on reactions from people who read an RNW article about a linesman who died after being beaten up by a group of Moroccan-Dutch teenagers.

The article was reprinted by Hespress, a popular Moroccan website, and sparked dozens of reactions from Moroccans living in Morocco and abroad. 50 of the 60 people who reacted agreed with Geert Wilders' remarks.

"Wilders is racist but he's right"
"The truth has to be told", wrote 'a commentator from the Netherlands'. "Moroccan youths here in the Netherlands are causing numerous problems. They carry out hold-ups, rob old people and attack bus drivers and gays. These incidents are occurring on a daily basis. In my opinion, the Dutch have a lot of patience with these criminals."
 
Even though the majority of the Moroccans who reacted consider Geert Wilders a racist and believe he doesn't offer solutions for the problems, they agree with his position. "What Wilders says is true", writes a reader who says he witnessed the behaviour of young people of Moroccan origin during the three years he lived in the Netherlands.
 
Others blame the violent or criminal behaviour on 'differences of mentality' or 'the deceitful Moroccan culture'.
 
Stop playing the victim
Various people believe that the Moroccan community in the Netherlands has to stop playing the victim. 'Laila from Amsterdam' urges people 'to stop looking for excuses' for the behaviour of Moroccan young people.
 
According to another reader, "I have been living in the Netherlands for the past 22 years, and I have never had any problems with Dutch people. From what I have seen, whenever there are problems of vandalism or theft in public transport, Moroccans are involved. Anyone who wants to succeed in the Netherlands can. The opportunities are there. You just have to want to seize them."
