The 72nd Emmy Awards host Jimmy Kimmel joined Black-ish star Anthony Anderson in a chant of "Black Lives Matter" during the live broadcast on Sunday, in a skit that saw Anderson lament how the awards show was forced to go virtual, stopping all the black nominees and winners from basking in their victory together.

"You know we have a record number of black Emmy nominees this year, which is great," said Anderson, after joining Kimmel on stage. "This was supposed to be the blackest Emmys ever. You wouldn't have even been able to handle how black it was going to be. But because of covid, we can't even get in the damn building."

On May 30, Gardner was confronted and attacked by BLM activists outside Gardner's Hive bar in the Old Market, a neighbourhood in downtown Omaha. While backing up, Gardner reportedly lifted his shirt to show a handgun, cautioning instigators that he was armed. Then when knocked to a puddle on the ground, Gardner fired two warning shots in the air, attempting to rise to his feet. An 18-second scuffle broke out with 22-year-old James Scurlock before Gardner shot Scurlock, Norfolk Daily News reported.

Video evidence also depicted Scurlock inside the building next door, destroying computer monitors, a desk phone, and drywall at RDG Planning and Design, an architecture firm. The rioters escaped through an already shattered window.

Douglas County District Attorney Don Kleine originally ruled Gardner's case an act of self-defense, deciding not to pursue charges after reviewing corroborating evidence. Kleine had determined that Scurlock dived on Gardner's back and choked him, the New York Post reported. Gardner could be heard in another bystander's video shouting, "Get off me, get off me." With his right arm pinned, Kleine noted, Gardner switched the gun to his left hand and fired over his shoulder. The bullet hit Scurlock in the shoulder-neck area, killing him. (...)

    10:57 p.m.: Walking backward, with Scurlock and another man approaching, Jake Gardner lifts his shirt to show a gun in his waistband. He soon pulls it out and holds it down to his side.

Two seconds before 10:58: Gardner is tackled from behind by an Omaha woman, Alayna Melendez. He ends up on his back in a puddle in the middle of Harney Street.

Four seconds later, Scurlock jumps on Gardner from behind as he is attempting to get up. Authorities allege that Scurlock was on Gardner's back and placed Gardner in what authorities alternately described as a headlock or chokehold. His right arm pinned, Gardner switches his handgun to his left hand. He fires over his shoulder, killing Scurlock. The struggle lasted about 20 seconds.

A Democrat elected in 2006, 2010, 2014 and 2018, Kleine condemned people on social media for distorting several facts — including Democratic congressional candidate Kara Eastman's portrayal of the killing as "cold-blooded murder." Authorities also disputed online accounts that the elder Gardner had displayed a gun. And a member of Scurlock's group told police that he had not heard anyone utter racial slurs that night.

An affidavit obtained by Nebraska News Channels revealed that Scurlock was arrested in 2014 for robbery and use of a firearm to commit a felony. Law enforcement officers implicated Scurlock's involvement in a home invasion robbery as part of a group of black males who entered the residence and threatened four civilians at gunpoint for drugs and money. He was sentenced to three to five years in prison but served less than a year, released the following August. Scurlock was also found guilty of assault and battery charges last year, serving one day in jail. The suspect additionally plead guilty to third-degree domestic assault this past February, completing a 90-day jail sentence.

"I never once heard Jake even say a negative term or a mean thing to anyone much less any racial slur," Justin urged. "I believe the media and people in Omaha tried to label him as a racist in an effort to excite a racial situation."

Gardner was a former U.S. Marine who served two tours in Iraq, suffering two traumatic brain injuries from combat that placed the veteran on disability.

Justin recalled Gardner not sleeping, plagued by the unbearable stress. All Gardner wanted for the future was to move past this traumatic event and travel the United States with his service dog Bron, Justin stated.

"Jake loved life and he was a very charismatic and made an effort to always put a smile on your face. The guy was so full of life and truly feel like he had one of the best souls!" Justin went on.

"I think the grand jury is not only at fault for pinning Jake into a corner. What the city of Omaha did was a travesty to a decorated soldier!" Justin concluded. "I believe officials caved under pressure of potentially having another riot in Omaha. I believe they indicted an innocent man in an attempt to try to kick the can down the road."

Alyssa Milano is all for defunding the police, except when she needs them.

The Daily Mail reports that Milano called the police to her Bell Canyon home on Sunday morning. Seven vehicles showed up courtesy of the Ventura County Sheriff's department, including a k-9 unit, a helicopter, and squad cars. An LA Fire Department team hung out at the end of the street just in case they were needed.

Milano and her husband were worried that she might have a stalker, and that's why they issued the call, despite the star's notable activism in favour of defunding police. Neither she nor her husband called a mental health unit ( ) to the scene to do an assessment of the suspected gunman and stalker, who turned out to be a kid with an air gun.

The police searched the area for three hours before calling it off. A neighbour said that "It turned out it was a neighborhood teen with an air gun shooting at squirrels."

Milano's interest in police defunding appears to be for everyone else, and not when it comes to her own needs. A neighbour told the Daily Mail "She can tweet those things because at the end of the day she lives behind gates in a gated community. She knows the police will come to save her. But what about all those people who don't have that luxury and live in unsafe neighborhoods? She obviously doesn't care.

Kaikissa on ollut käytännössä samanlaiset vuosikoulutukset: lait on tunnettava (toki on mielenkiintoinen kysymys miksi minun pitää tuntea Jenkkien lainsäädäntö kun en ole siellä töissä) erilaisten syrjintämuotojen osalta, firman valitsemaa syrjimätöntä käyttäytymiskoodia on noudatettava, ja siinä se sitten tältä osin olikin. Kertaakaan ei olla vihjattu puolellakaan sanalla että esim. "uhriryhmiä" pitäisi kohdella eri tavalla tai että esim. valkoiset tai miehet olisivat jotenkin vastuussa maailman pahuudesta. Seattle pays ex-pimp $150,000 to offer 'alternatives to policing'

Seattle now has on its payroll a convicted pimp who once vowed to "go to war" with the city — a $150,000 "street czar" whose mission is to come up with "alternatives to policing," reports said.

Andre Taylor — who appeared in the documentary "American Pimp" about his life as "Gorgeous Dre" — is getting $12,500 per month for a year, along with an office in Seattle's Municipal Tower, according to the contract published by PubliCola.

It comes just a year after his organization, Not This Time, was paid $100,000 to sponsor a speaker series that was called "Conversations with the Streets."

Taylor led one of the first rallies in Seattle after the police-custody death of George Floyd, the Seattle Times said.

He was later accused of trying to get millions from the city for militants who set up the controversial police-free Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP) zone, the Seattle Times said.

"Don't just leave. Leave with something," he told activists in a meeting caught in a recording, telling them to demand $2 million to exit the site of much of the city's worst violence this year, the report said. They ignored his advice, the paper said, with one saying the money grab felt "off."

Some of those militants then accused him of betraying them, too, when he appeared at a press conference with the mayor to tell them to shut down CHOP — the same day he was given his six-figure contract, the paper said.

The new street czar justified the contract to KOMO News as payment for his "particular genius in a particular area" — saying he can talk to "gang members, pimps and prostitutes" who "won't sit down with anybody else."

"Black people as a whole have not been in a place to be compensated for their genius or their work for a very, very long time," he said.

"Not too many people can go talk to gangbangers in their territory, and then go talk to the government in their territory," Taylor also told the Seattle Times.

Taylor first found notoriety in Las Vegas, where he was sentenced in 2000 to more than five years in prison, serving little more than a year, the Seattle Times previously noted.

Some of the girls he pimped for were underage, according to court reports in the Las Vegas Sun.

"I was born from the streets; I come out of the deep darkness," he said in a YouTube video earlier this year, bragging how he "had children with some of the women who were with me" when he was a pimp.

It's time to release the data that can exonerate police.

The Black Lives Matter movement trades on Americans' ignorance about the demographics of criminal offending. As long as that ignorance prevails, BLM's anti-cop narrative will continue destroying the institutions of law and order.

Activists and their media enablers present racial disparities in police activity—be it stops, arrests, or officer use of force—as prima facie evidence of police bias. They generate those racial disparities by comparing policing data to population ratios.

In New York City, for example, a little over 50% of all pedestrian stops conducted by the New York Police Department have a black subject. But blacks are slightly less than a quarter of the city's population. Voilà! Proof of racism, declare the mainstream media, Democratic politicians, and virtually the entirety of academia.

Census data is the wrong benchmark for evaluating police behavior, however. The proper benchmark is crime rates, because policing today is data-driven, deploying officers to where criminals prey on their victims.

Blacks in New York City commit over 70% of all drive-by shootings, according to the victims of, and witnesses to, those shootings, who are overwhelmingly minority themselves. Add Hispanic shootings to black shootings and you account for nearly 100% of all shootings in New York City. These numbers mean that virtually every time an officer gets a "shots fired" call over his radio, he is being called to a minority neighborhood, on behalf of a minority victim, and being given the description of a minority suspect, if anyone is cooperating with the police for once. The cops don't wish this reality into being. It is forced upon them by the facts of crime.

Such disparities exist in every American city. In Chicago, blacks commit about 80% of all shootings and murders, and whites less than 2%, though both blacks and whites are each a little less than a third of the population. In St. Louis, blacks commit up to 100% of all homicides, though they are less than 50% of the population.

Officers cannot use their lawful powers of enforcement, in other words, without having a disparate impact on blacks, since blacks commit the lion's share of violent street crime. These crime disparities also have large implications for police use of force. Officers are far more likely to encounter armed, violent, and resisting suspects in minority neighborhoods.

The biggest predictor of officer behavior is civilian behavior. If a civilian resists arrest, an officer will escalate his own use of force until he gains compliance. If a civilian threatens an officer or bystanders with potentially lethal force, an officer is legally justified in using lethal force in return. Blacks resist arrest at four times the rate of whites, according to one study; a decade's worth of data show that black males make up over 40% of all cop-killers, though they are 6% of the national population.

The press touts the fact that blacks are two and a half times more likely to be fatally shot by the police than whites. Predictably, that favored statistic uses the irrelevant population benchmark. Substitute a homicide benchmark, and the ratio reverses. When homicide rates are taken into account, whites are three times more likely than blacks to be fatally shot by an officer.

The American public is clueless about how disproportionate violent street crime is. Even hearing the numbers makes many well-meaning whites uncomfortable, though no one seems to cringe when law enforcement is accused of a reign of racist terror.

To test the broader narrative that blacks are under lethal threat from generalized white supremacy, police departments should publish data on interracial victimization, comparing black-on-white with white-on-black crime. Nationally, blacks commit 88% of all interracial victimization between blacks and whites, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics. Local statistics would usefully flesh out the picture.

Vasemmistolle sopii vallan mainiosti slummiasukit, jotka ovat haluttomia/kyvyttömiä/tms. korjaamaan omaa tilannettaan - he ovat elintasossaan täysin riippuvaisia järjestelmästä, jos rikollinen vaihtoehto suljetaan pois kuvioista. What should unite us all as citizens is increasingly in dispute, but we should be clear on one important point: Americans are averse to racism. We find racism repugnant, which is why it is so pernicious that the meaning of the word in our public discourse has been warped beyond all recognition. We know that something called racism was related to some of the worst and most violent chapters of American history.  (...)

The Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement has found a way to "weaponize" this visceral American aversion to racism—the fact that America is not racist, and Americans therefore both resent and fear being called racist. BLM uses the charge of "systemic" racism as a way of blackmailing their opponents to get what they want.

Tuo mielestäni pätee aika hyvin Suomeenkin. Täällä on aina ollut sellainen "sanoistaan ja teoistaan mies tunnetaan" kulttuuri, tietenkin aina jokin mitätön osuus väestöstä on vähän eri mieltä. Ja matujen suhteen tuo kulttuuri on nimen omaan johtanut pienehköön "varauksellisuuteen" nykyisenkaltaisia maahanmuuttajia kohtaan. Ja tämä on sitten kiihkoilijoiden toimesta käännetty rasismiksi.

What do they want? To change the system itself, of course. "Systemic" problems of governance by definition require "systemic" alterations of government—otherwise known as "regime change." And that's what's really on the table. Under the cover of the old Civil Rights movement, BLM is smuggling into our political discourse an agenda more akin to that of the fringe Marxist black power movements in the 1960s and '70s than to the actual political positions of the vast majority of black people in America today.

Most Americans, if they knew what this ascendant coalition really stands for, would find its project far too outlandishly radical to ever accept it. That is why BLM recently deleted the page in which it announced its plans to "dismantle the Western-prescribed nuclear family." It's why the New York Times has slyly erased some of the most egregious revisionism from its attack on American history, the 1619 Project. They hope we won't notice what they're up to. They think we'll forget what they've told us time again that they really want. But we know: American elites are swooning over the most destructive kinds of lunacy, the kind which is still represented and peddled by BLM, regardless of what its website says.

So, what is to be done?

Much. (...) We begin by offering five small but important tasks here.

First, as Heather Mac Donald argues in "Blue Truth Matters," we must directly refute BLM's central claim that the enforcement of the law in America is systemically racist. Politicians and talking heads alike have failed to counter this claim with the truth, in large part due to cowardice. Our media outlets are being overrun by ideologues who do not think they need to prove their case, but assume systemic racism as unquestioned truth. There is a large network of politically organized academics and think tanks dedicated to making that case, often based on complicated evasions and deceptive statistics.

But the truth is out there, and the truth is there is little evidence that the police are "systematically" seeking to harm black people. It is publicly taboo to state the statistical realities of race and crime. (... viittauksia mm. Mac Donaldin kirjoituksiin)

Second, as Alberto Fernandez argues in "The Antifa/BLM-Industrial Complex," BLM's elite enablers must be called out and shamed. As Fernandez argues, there is a sense in which "those who provide the political and ideological framework for violent action are even more responsible for them than those willing to carry them out." If the politicians, experts, and media figures who give BLM cover are not opposed, BLM will continue to grow in power. Unrest and violence will escalate. They will continue to effectively hijack the Democrat Party and the American people.

Third, as Tuscape Cançelle argues in "Fund the Police," we need to reject the insane and dangerous idea that we should delegitimize and defund the police. BLM wants to establish Woke Tribunals that will replace the American justice system as we know it (...)

Fourth, as Noelle Mering argues in "The Woke Mob Plays God," we must understand that what BLM and its allies promote—and the reason for its deep-rooted appeal—is a twisted religious framework that imitates Christianity. "In place of Christ," she points out, "the Woke claim perfect victimhood as their own, so that they might be as gods." Sin and blame are projected onto the scapegoats that identity politics ceaselessly condemns. As she wrote in a previous article as part of our "Woke Religion" feature, "woke culture divides people into two camps: saved and unsaved, the latter without hope of redemption." Any effective response to this moment will require a national revival of true religion to feed the hunger that BLM pretends to satisfy.

No jaa, varmasti tuo SJW-paska toimii uskontona monille noista ääliöistä, mutta omasta mielestäni menee ehkä vähän sivuraiteille. Voin toki olla väärässä.

Fifth and finally, we need to recognize and acknowledge what Kyle Shideler makes plain: "They're Not Gonna Stop." This is not a passing moment or a briefly troubled period of civil unrest. This is a full-fledged insurrection, and the Democrats have abetted it in a woefully misguided effort to seize power on the backs of street-level revolutionaries. (...)

Those who care about America, and wish to avert its coming apart, must now organize and make a concerted effort to stop the radical revolutionary movement that has deceptively laid claim to the hearts and minds of so many of our countrymen.

Yleinen kaava tällaisissa vallankumouksissa - jos ne onnistuvat - on sellainen, että kun olemassa olleet lain ja järjestyksen instituutiot on tuhottu, niin

1. ne korvataan mielivallan ja terrorin instituutioilla (Ranskassa giljotiineilla ja Venäjällä kansanvihollisten päiväkohtaisilla murhakiintiöillä), ja

- demokraattien ylimmät päättäjät ja taustavoimat olisivatkin siihen valmiita, ja vaikka
- valtamedia on tehnyt parhaansa polarisoidakseen kansaa ja demonisoidakseen presidenttiä ja poliisivoimia.

Kuitenkin, jos Trump voittaa vaalit selvästi vaalipäivän äänillä, mutta häviää muutaman päivän päästä postiäänillä, niin tilanne menee mielenkiintoiseksi sen suhteen, mille puolelle poliisivoimat, kansalliskaarit ja armeija menevät, mikäli tulee epäselvyyttä sen suhteen, että miten tuossa tilanteessa pitäisi toimia. Eli sellainen joka ei tee identiteettipolitiikkaa vaan pyrkkii valmistautumaan mahdollisuuteen, että sosialistit koittaa ottaa vallan. Ja kun se päivä koittaa tämä järjestö tulee esiin aseistettuna ja hyvin organisoituna. Tuhoaa vallankumousjoukot ja palauttaa lain ja järjestyksen sellaisenaan takaisin.


Mielenosoitus on turhaa. Pitää olla lihaksia H-hetkellä ja yllätys puolellaan. Pitää olla vastavallankumousarmeija. Ongelmahan on puolustusvoimien mädättyminen, muutenhan huolta ei olisi. Pitäisi olla valmis pohja, johon kaikki hyvät poliisit ja armeijan väki voi liittyä kun anarkia iskee.

Kaikenlaiset haaveet etnisestä puhdistuksesta tulevat torpedoimaan kyvyn kaataa vallankumous. Koska hyväksynnän tulee olla laajaa ja kärkenä sosialismin vastustaminen. Äärioikeiston unelmat ovat suurin este yhteishengelle.
