Uutisia seuraillessa olen huomannut, että Belgiasta on alkanut kantautua signaaleja turvapaikkahuijarien määrän selkeästä noususta.

QuoteLack of staff causes shortage of places in asylum reception centres

The federal agency for asylum seekers Fedasil had to look for 750 extra places each month over the past year, due to an increasing shortage of places for asylum seekers.

The problem is three-fold: while the number of applications has gone up – but not to an extent like in 2015-2016 – the number of places in reception centres had already been reduced, and at the same time it takes a lot longer before asylum seekers are getting an answer, due a lack of staff at Fedasil.

It is now taking 15 months on average before asylum seekers know whether or not they can stay in Belgium. All this time, they occupy a place in a reception centre.

QuoteFloating reception centre to provide shelter for 250 asylum seekers in Ghent

The Federal Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers have announced a plan to open a temporary reception centre in Ghent for 250 asylum seekers in December 2019.

The centre, a floating reception facility, will be moored at the Rigakaai wharf in Ghent, at the North Sea Port and will have 40 employees, the agency explained in a press release.

The reception facility will be modelled on a similar centre that was set up during the refugee crisis in 2015 and operated by a private partner. This time around, however, the Federal Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (Fedasil) will operate the facility.

Fedasil are working closely with the City of Ghent to prepare for the arrival of the centre. The first residents are anticipated to arrive sometime in early December.

QuoteEconomist: "No, migrants will not pay our pensions"

Economist Mark Scholliers warns in an interview with SCEPTR about the consequences of migration on our social security system. "No, migrants are not going to pay our pensions," it sounds. He therefore argues for less and better organized migration. "This system is already struggling with large deficits. The least we have to do is make a clear distinction between who we allow and who not. "

Mark Scholliers is a macro-economist by training, but also the author of various books. In the past, Scholliers mainly wrote economic books, both fiction and non-fiction, about, among other things, the banking crisis or the pension problem. He recently ventured into a first political thriller, "Holy Revenge," about Islamization and jihad terror. As part of that, he was interviewed by SCEPTR editor Tom Lallemand.

"Migrants are not going to pay our pensions"

In addition to Islamization and terror, the subject of migration and pensions is also addressed, in which Schollier is an expert. The argument pro-migration that migrants are going to solve our aging and retirement problem is, according to Scholliers, nonsense. "No, migrants are not going to pay our pensions. It is true that in the short term there may be a positive effect because migration of the active population in absolute numbers is rapidly increasing. The so-called pot is therefore growing from which, among other things, the current pensions are paid. "

But, Scholliers argues, the problem only gets bigger that way. "In the long term, this is a false solution because those immigrants who have now become Belgian also retire, resulting in higher pension expenditures," he says. "To finance that, we have to admit many more migrants. In other words, this is an endless street. "

Quote28 migrants held at Antwerp Berchem Station

Federal police carried out checks at Antwerp Berchem station on Monday night. Twenty-eight people without the right documentation were detained.

Belgian police were conducting an operation targeting people-traffickers. They hope to map out the networks and routes used and deter migrants from embarking on a dangerous and illegal journey to the UK.

27 men and a woman were held: 10 Eritreans, 17 Sudanese and one Ethiopian.  Eleven of the 28 claimed to be minors.

Checks mainly targeted trains running between Brussels and Antwerp. Police say many are the migrants using public transport to leave Brussels and head for Antwerp and other destinations. The migrants arrive at Antwerp Berchem or Antwerp Central and then take a bus or tram to motorway carparks where they try to board lorries bound for the UK.

The 12 migrants were found in healthy condition after they reportedly snuck into a refrigerated truck. Last week, 39 migrants were found dead in refrigerated truck east of London.

Twelve migrants were found in a refrigerated truck in a highway parking area in northern Belgium, federal police said Wednesday.

The driver, who was transporting fruits and vegetables, called police after he suspected the migrants had crawled into his truck near Turnhout.

Police found 11 Syrian men and one Sudanese man who were unharmed.

Police said the group was handed over to immigration authorities.

Hakemusten hyväksymisaste on Belgiassa 32,2 %.

Quote from: Het Laatste Nieuws/konekäännösAsylum applications have never been so high since the 2015 refugee crisis: Fedasil is looking for 1,000 extra beds in asylum centers (13.11.2019)

In October 2,925 people applied for asylum in our country. That is the highest number since the 2015 refugee crisis, and the Fedasil reception service is therefore urgently looking for 1,000 extra beds. The Commissariat General for Refugees and Stateless Persons (CGRS) warns in De Standaard that the entire "asylum system is in danger of coming under pressure". Former Secretary of State for Asylum and Migration Theo Francken (N-VA) says that his successor Maggie De Block (Open Vld) shows "too little political courage". The Block denies that.

During the peak of the 2015 asylum crisis, more than 5,000 people applied for asylum every month between August and December. That number then fell sharply in order to continue to fluctuate around 1,600 applications per month. During the course of this year, the number rose towards 2,000, now approaching 3,000.

It is mainly residents from Afghanistan (411), Syria (322), El Salvador (205), Eritrea (155) and Iraq (153) who applied for asylum. According to the CGRS, the high number in October is mainly because more people than usual had already applied for asylum, in our country or in another European country. Many applications were declared inadmissible last month: the protection percentage was barely 32.2 percent.

(...)

Occupancy rate of 100 percent or more

Fedasil, which is responsible for the reception, is also sounding the alarm. "Most reception structures have currently reached or exceeded an occupancy rate of 100 percent," it says there. The Fedasil reception network currently consists of 25,100 places, compared to 21,000 at the start of this year.

Fedasil is therefore urgently looking for extra beds, around 500 per month or 1,000 by the end of the year. Those places are also sought from private individuals, says Fedasil on its website. These are buildings that are " empty and quickly available for rent, have  a minimum area of 2,000 m2 (capacity of minimum 150-200 beds), are  in good condition and are in accordance with legal safety standards, and are  designed for housing of persons (former boarding schools, hotels, hospitals, rest homes) or office buildings that, with a few adjustments, can be converted into a center '.

Tents

Normally the asylum center in Bilzen would open in December, but due to the arson, the opening is already delayed. Centers are still open in Spa (116 places), Zoutleeuw (150 places), Ghent (250 places), Theux (290 places) and Beveren-Waas (150 places). In addition, additional tents and container units are being added to various existing reception centers.

Belgian Flanderissa muslimiväestön osuus on voimakkaassa nousussa ja samoin kasvaa myös islamin opettajien määrä (neljässä vuodessa 758 -> 925).

Muun muassa Antwerpenissa 0-9 -vuotiaista 74,10 % ja 10-19 -vuotiaista lähes 70 % on ulkomaalaistaustaisia. Ja vahvalla mutulla näistä melkoinen osuus musulmaaneja.

Mikä ihmeen väestönvaihto? :P

https://sceptr.net/2019/12/aantal-islamleerkrachten-neemt-fors-toe-in-vlaanderen/ (3.12.2019)

Konekäännös:

QuoteThe number of Islam teachers is increasing sharply in Flanders

Islam education is on the rise in our country. This is evident from the answer from education minister Ben Weyts (N-VA) to a parliamentary question from Flemish MP Sam Van Rooy (Vlaams Belang). In just 4 school years, the number of Islam teachers in our education increased by 22% from 758 to 925. The number of Flemish schools with Islam teachers is also increasing sharply.

Due to the low birth rate of indigenous women in Flanders on the one hand, and the high birth rate of Muslim immigrants on the other, a clear demographic shift is underway in our country. In Antwerp for example, this shift is already clearly noticeable. In the age category 0 to 9 years no less than 74.10% of the Antwerp population is of foreign origin. Between 10 and 19 years it is almost 70%.

Islam classes and Islam teachers are increasing

This shift also translates into the popularity of Islam classes in our education. In recent years, the number of students attending Islam classes has risen sharply, as has the number of Islam teachers. This is apparent from the answer from the Flemish minister of Education Ben Weyts (N-VA) to a parliamentary question from the Flemish MP Sam Van Rooy (Vlaams Belang).

The number of Islam teachers - paid with Flemish tax money, Vlaams Belang emphasizes - has increased by more than one fifth in the last four years. In the 2014-2015 school year, our country had 758, in the 2018-2019 school year there were already 925. In the meantime, 858 primary schools and 297 secondary schools already have one or more Islamic teachers.

At Vlaams Belang, the question is whether there is room for Islam lessons in Flemish education. " It is absolute madness that Flemish education is taught in an ideology whose values are at odds with the freedoms of our democratic constitutional state. Islam does not even recognize the right for Muslims to change their religion. That Islam is not a blessing but a scourge for the world is, moreover, proven on a daily basis throughout the world, "  says Sam Van Rooy.

QuoteAbout 80% of asylum seekers do not leave Belgium after they have been ordered to

Of the 33,386 people who were ordered to leave Belgium last year, only 7,399 (about 20%) effectively did, according to new figures.

Anyone whose asylum application in Belgium was not approved, has to leave the country. However, roughly 80% of rejected asylum seekers stay in the country, according to figures figured by VRT. Of the 7,399 people who left Belgium, some did so voluntarily, others under duress. The others stayed in the country, or left without the Immigration Department's knowledge.

"People often ignore the order to leave the country," said Maggie De Block, federal Minister for Asylum and Migration, in the Radio 1 programme De Ochtend. "We see that in other countries too, they do not return voluntarily. That is why we have to put them in closed centres first," she added.

De Blockin ilmoittaman uuden linjauksen pitäisi vapauttaa 250–300 vok-paikkaa kuukaudessa.

Lisäksi tästä muutoksesta järjestetään tiedotuskampanja, jonka tarkoitus on ehkäistä näihin ryhmiin kuuluvien tuloa Belgiaan. Fedasil arvioi jokaisen tapauksen yksilöllisesti, lopetetaanko henkilön vastaanottopalvelut, joten näiden toimien merkitys on luultavasti käytännössä hyvin vähäinen.

Quote from: VRT (Vlaamse Radio- en Televisieomroeporganisatie)Maggie De Block no longer wants to receive asylum seekers who do not follow procedures (4.1.2020)

Anyone who does not correctly follow the rules regarding the application for asylum will no longer receive reception in Belgium. Minister of Asylum and Migration Maggie De Block (Open VLD) has decided that. "It is about 250 to 300 places per month. We have to use it to receive people who have good reasons for it," the minister said.

This concerns two groups of asylum seekers. On the one hand there are people who are already recognized as refugees in another member state of the European Union, were granted asylum there, but still travel to Belgium to apply for asylum here again, often because they enjoy better social protection here. During that asylum procedure in our country they are entitled to reception, but that will now change.

On the other hand, it concerns people who arrived in another EU member state such as Greece or Italy, but who never applied for asylum and who immediately traveled to Belgium. According to the Dublin rules, someone must apply for asylum in the first country of arrival. When those people travel to another country and apply for asylum there, they must be sent back to the country where they arrived. But the rules also say that someone who still resides in a country other than the first country of arrival has the right to apply for asylum in that country after six months. According to Minister De Block, people come to our country, register and then disappear from the radar for six months to be able to apply for asylum here. and reception. That will therefore no longer be possible in the future.

Places indicate who really needs it

The minister wants to take action against the overloading of the asylum services and the reception network. "We must provide protection and shelter to those who really need it, but we must act hard against those who try to abuse it."

Asylum seekers who no longer receive reception will receive the necessary support if they want to return to the EU Member State where they have already been registered or recognized, emphasizes the De Block cabinet. In addition, Fedasil assesses each case on an individual basis, and the service takes into account, for example, the health of the people involved. There will also be an information campaign aimed at asylum seekers to further discourage the misuse of the procedures.

https://www.brusselstimes.com/all-news/belgium-all-news/87240/de-block-tightens-rules-for-asylum-seekers/
Quote from: The Brussels timesDe Block tightens rules for asylum seekers (4.1.2020)

Federal minister for asylum and migration Maggie De Block has announced a tightening of the rules on the reception given to asylum seekers who refuse to abide by existing rules.

The first change concerns what De Block calls "asylum shopping" – where a migrant applies for asylum in the EU member state where they first make landfall in Europe. Then, for one reason or another, that move on and re-apply once arrived in Belgium.

According to the so-called Dublin Regulation, which Belgium and another 11 member states adopted in September 1997, an asylum seeker must apply in the first safe country they arrive in, and member states should return such an asylum seeker to that first country to complete the asylum process.

However, De Block claims, member states have in general six months to process such claims, and return asylum seekers. But many asylum seekers in this category arrive in Belgium, apply for asylum and then go underground with family or friends for six months, so that the deadline passes without their case being able to be processed.

"Others change their address almost daily, to make follow-up impossible," she told Belga. "They re-appear once the six months are up, to demand asylum once more, and then they have to be taken in."

However the six months is only a guideline, she pointed out, and in fact the Office for Foreigners can invoke the Dublin Regulation anywhere up to 18 months after first arrival. And this provision is going to be enforced more often, De Block promised, to make it harder for asylum-shoppers and to force them to return to their first port of call. The Office will continue, though, to provide support and help for any asylum seeker who wishes to return.

At the same time, De Block intends to put in place a campaign of information to explain the new application of the rules to populations likely to provide new asylum-seekers, to make it clear how the chances of success have diminished, and to dissuade those intent on exploiting the rules.

The Office for Foreigners remains overburdened with applications, she said, not only because of the numbers of those applying for asylum, but also because of the length of time the procedure takes. And the federal agency for asylum, Fedasil, is experiencing more and more difficulty in finding accommodation for those who are waiting for their applications to be processed. One reason is the growing protest against asylum centres coming from local residents, such as has been the case already in Zoutleeuw in Flemish Brabant, Koksijde in West Flanders and Bilzen in Limburg province, where one centre in a former nursing home was set on fire in November.
