In mid April some 20+ of Sudanese soldiers were killed in an ambush in northern Yemen. Sudan, which sent up to 10,000 soldiers to Yemen in hope of Saudi money, is reconsidering its engagement. The Gulf states had promised investments in Sudan and the lifting of U.S. sanction in exchange for sending cannon fodder. Neither happened.

The war Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the powers behind them wage on Yemen aims to install a proxy-government that defers to them. The Yemeni people do not want that. They resist against the overwhelming forces of their rich neighbors. Especially the Zaidi people of north Yemen dislike their proselytizing Wahhabi neighbors. Their Houthi movement leads the fight. Yemeni in general regard them as 'monkeys with laptops'.  To overcome the resistance the Saudi launched a genocidal campaign of blockading, bombing and starving the people into submission.

The same week the Sudanese mercenaries were killed, airstrikes by Saudi jets slaughtered dozens of Yemeni civilians:

An airstrike by the Saudi-led coalition hit a wedding party in northern Yemen, killing at least 20 people including the bride, health officials said Monday, as harrowing images emerged on social media of the deadly bombing, the third to hit Yemeni civilians since the weekend.

An airstrike on Sunday night hit a house elsewhere in Hajja, killing an entire family of five, according to al-Nadhri.
On Saturday, at least 20 civilians were killed when coalition fighter jets bombed a bus carrying commuters in western Yemen, near the city of Taiz, which has been locked in fighting for three years.

After the bombing of the wedding one boy, 3 to 5 years old, clutched to his dead father all night (video) and rejected attempts to be taken away. A graphic video taken the next morning shows that the boy is still there and the terrible aftermath of the Saudi massacre. The Onion only slightly exaggerates when it writes that the Saudi clown prince visited the child to finish the job.

The standard agency reports from Yemen, like the above one, always repeat the UN estimate that more than 10,000 have died in the war. But that UN number is at least two years old, never changes and only hides the ongoing massacre:

At least 70,000 have been killed by bombing alone. That number does not include the probably one hundred thousand who starved or died from easily preventable diseases. When asked about the real numbers UN officials are evading any sensible response (vid).

The Saudi coalition strikes on civilians are not by accident. The Saudis target infrastructure, all food and people transport, health facilities and any gathering that is deemed suspicious.

Yemen's Prime Minister Abdulaziz bin Habtoor has openly said that Britain is guilty of war crimes because of its arms sales to Saudi Arabia who mercilessly massacring Yemeni civilians.

"They have sold cluster bombs to Saudi Arabia. They know the Saudis are going to drop them on Yemen [...] in Sa'ada and in Sana'a and other provinces," said Habtoor on Tuesday during an interview with Sky News.

"I don't think they are guilty of war crimes, I believe so. They are participating in the bombing of Yemeni people," he continued.
Nearly 11,500 people have been killed from Saudi air raids since their airstrikes began in March 2015.

Lisäksi Saudien kampanja on tavattomasti nostattanut Al-Qaidan läsnäoloa alueella joka on saanut vapaat kädet toimia.

Olen seurannut aika-ajoin "Yemen Fights Back"-tuubia, tosin se on nyt deletoitunut syistä ((())) ja Y. Eli USA ja Israel oikeasti, eivätkä vain foliohattusalaliiton seurauksena, aseistavat saudeja ja alueen sunniklaaneja. Tällöin vastaperspektiivin esiintuominen ei onnistu helpolla heidän hallitsemissa medioissa. Tuon kanavan sisältö siis ei ollut mitään ISIS kurkunleikkausta, tai edes raakuuksia, vaan pelkkää sissisotaa ylivoimaista vihollista vastaan. En muista nähneeni yhtäkään itsemurhapommia tai hurmoshenkistä deathrushia, mitä sunni-ISIS:n videot suorastaan pursusivat. Shiia-hutheilla ei näytä olevan sellaista taipumusta. Lapsisotilaita ei myöskään näy missään, eikä edes täyskaavutettuja naisia.

Raakuuksien sijaan siellä näkyy esimerkiksi kuinka Sergeistä irroitettu 23mm putki on viety vuoren päälle pieneen kallioroiloon ja nähtävästi on luettu muutakin kuin koraania - tyypit ampuvat sillä jyrkässä kulmassa häirintätulta muutaman kilometrin päässä olevalle saudien hallussa olevalle kukkulalle. Ballistiikka  on hutheilla siis hallussa, koska videolla näkyy pieniä poksahduksia vastaanottajien leirissä. Pikku Sergein papatit tippuvat muutaman kilometrin kaarelta täysin demoralisoitujen saudien ja heidän afrikkalaisten palkkasoturien niskaan. Lopputulos on paniikki leirissä, GTFO ja autolla ajo Huthien tielle asettamaan miinaan. Sitten seuraa huthien tekemä mop-up, jossa ottavat vankeja ja kohtelevat niitä länsistandardein, tosi outoa porukkaa!

Liki kaikki sotasaaliiksi saatu roju poltetaan, eli Toyotat ja panssaroidut ajoneuvot menevät liekkeinä ilmaan, ammuksineen! Huthit ovat selvästi tajunneet sen, että vaikka he saisivat kuinka paljon kaapattuja ajoneuvoja, niin niillä ei tee nykyaikaisen aavikko/vuoristo sissisodan näyttämöllä mitään. Lämpökamerat paljastavat ajoneuvot, joten on viisaampaa pysyä niistä visusti erossa, koska muuten tulee täsmäpommi niskaan.

Se, mikä kelpaa, ovat vastapuolen koodatut radiot. Joissakin pätkissä näkyi, kuinka Huthit kuuntelivat saudien radioliikennettä ja kommunikoivat samalla itse, todennäköisesti niin, etteivät saudit saaneet asiasta selvää. Melko erikoista käytöstä sellaisille ihmisille, joiden ei pitäisi tietää muusta kuin muhamedin menoista n. 1400 vuotta sitten.

Hutheilla ei näytä olevan juuri mitään keinoja puolustaa itseään ilmasta toimivaa vihollista vastaan, mutta jostain syystä saudien ja heidän liittolaisten tiedustelu ei näytä toimittavan ilmavoimille tarkkaa tiedusteluinformaatiota. Hävittäjät ja helikopterit lentävät korkealla, eikä näy merkkiäkään mistään "airmobile infantry" meiningistä, joka olisi kuolinisku kevyesti aseistetuilla Hutheille. Saudien maa-armeija ja ilmavoimat eivät siis toimi hyvin yhdessä, jos ollenkaan.

Jemenin Huthit tappelevat kuin suomalaiset talvisodassa täysin ylivoimaista vihollista vastaan. Liki jokainen video sisältää heidän "hakkaa päälle" loitsua "Kuolema USA:lla ja Israelille, voitto islamille", ihan perustellusta syystä tällä kertaa. Pysyisivät ulkopuoliset erossa tuolta, Huthien viritykset islamin kanssa eivät näytä kovinkaan ekspansiivisilta tai globaali-jihadistisilta. 

Vaan minkäs teet, kun lihavia saudikuninkaallisia pitää lepytellä ja "kaveerata" heidän kanssaan. Sunni"kavereiden" mielen on oltava hyvä, jotta öljykauppa ja Israelin lähialueiden turvallisuus olisi hyvä. Tilanne oli täsmälleen päinvastainen aina siihen asti, kunnes Shaahi ajettiin Iranista pois. Iran oli Israelin ja USA:n paras ystävä Persianlahdella, sunnipaskiaiset olivat takapajuisia idiootteja jotka olivat Israelin kimpussa. Asetelma on edelleen sama henkisesti, mutta nyt vaan näytellään, että juttu olisi juuri toisinpäin. Shiioilla ei ole miekkalähetys-periaatetta, sunneilla on, siinä se ero edellämainittujen hyväksi. Shiiat ovat se "lesser evil", joiden kanssa olisi järkevintä kaveerata.

  Virallisen selityksen mukaan jenkkien sekaantuminen Jemeniin on osa Al-Qaidan/ISISin vastaista strategiaa, kuten Syyriassakin. Jos kerta ollaan sunni-ekstremismiä vastaan niin luulisi että Jemenissäkin olisi tehokkaampaa auttaa shiialaista osapuolta eikä Saudeja.

US Green Berets covertly helping Saudi Arabia in Yemen – report

A team of around 12 Green Berets arrived at the Saudi border with Yemen last December, despite Washington officially remaining uninvolved in the conflict. The commandos are reportedly helping Saudi forces to "locate and destroy" ballistic missiles and launch sites, which are used by the Houthis to strike targets within Saudi Arabia.

Sources also told the newspaper that the US troops are training their Saudi counterparts to secure the border with Yemen. There is no indication yet that their mission has taken them across the border and into Yemen itself. 

Officially, American involvement in the conflict is limited to logistics and intelligence sharing. According to official figures, there were just over 500 US military personnel stationed in Saudi Arabia as of December last year.

The conflict between the Houthis and Saudi forces is a regional one, and the Houthis pose no direct threat to the United States and have not been classified by the American government as a terrorist organization.

The Green Berets will thus be likely kept out of harm's way, at least for now. Former senior security policy analyst at the office of the Secretary of Defense, Michael Maloof, told RT that the Saudis prefer to contract out their fighting in Yemen to mercenaries, like those from Blackwater.

"The US is heavily involved in Yemen, providing armaments. But you also have the Blackwater people out of the United Arab Emirates. They have a base in Yemen and a lot of them have been killed there," he said.

At least half a dozen civilians have been killed and dozens more wounded after two airstrikes carried out by warplanes of a Saudi-led military coalition hit the office of the presidency in the Yemeni capital of Sana'a.

Yemen's Arabic-language al-Masirah television network, citing its correspondent in the scene, reported on Monday that Saudi fighter jets launched at least two airstrikes against the building, situated in the packed district of Tahrir, killing at least six civilians, including a child, and wounded 86 others, including school children.

It added that due to the magnitude of the explosions in the crowded area the toll could possibly rise, as the raids have already inflicted heavy damage to the surrounding residential buildings and vehicles.

Meanwhile, the principal of the Gamal Abdel Nasser School, close to the presidency building, told al-Masirah that an unspecified number of students sustained injuries, adding that the huge blasts threw the students into a sudden panic, prompting the school authorities to suspend the exams.

The report added that ambulances were busy transporting the injured to nearby hospitals and medical centers for due treatment.

Photos circulated in social media show disturbing images of panicked people, some partially covered with blood, running here and there, with streets filled with rubble, buildings shattered, and cars bent out of shape.

The presidential building is located near a hotel, a bank and shops, and not far from the central bank.

"We were working next door to the presidential offices and heard a plane, and then an explosion," Ahmed Dehashir, a first responder.

"Some people rushed to the scene and saw the destruction and people caught under the rubble. We tried to dig out the dead and wounded from under the debris, and then there was a second strike," he further said, adding, "There are a lot of people trapped under the rubble."

Yemen's official Saba news agency, citing an unnamed security source, said that the Saudi-led coalition intentionally choose bombard crowded places in rush hour to take more casualties.

In one of the deadliest air raids against Yemeni people, Saudi warplanes last month hit a wedding ceremony in Hajjah several times, killing almost 50 people and wounding 55 more. Saudi jets also carried out raids on ambulances transporting the casualties to local hospitals.

Saudi Arabia and its allies launched the war on Yemen in March 2015 in support of Yemen's former Riyadh-friendly government and against the Houthi Ansarullah movement, which plays a significant role in supporting the Yemeni army against the Saudi-led campaign, which has killed and injured over 600,000 civilians, according to the Yemeni Ministry of Human Rights.

Perusteluina käytetään jatkuvasti sitä, että moinen rellestäminen on vastoin kansainvälistä lakia, vastoin kansainvälisiä sopimuksia ja Suomi tuomitsee moisen koska meillä on länsimaiset arvot. Ilmeisesti Suomen ja Venäjän 1992 laatima valtiosopimus ei ole kansainvälinen sopimus, eikä kansainvälisten lakien mukainen, koska Suomi rikkoo sitä mennen tullen natoilullaan.

A Saudi-led coalition battling in Yemen said it carried out a deadly attack in the rebel-held north on Thursday, which the Red Cross said hit a bus carrying children.

"Following an attack this morning on a bus driving children in Dahyan Market, northern Saada, (an ICRC-supported) hospital has received dozens of dead and wounded," the organisation said on Twitter without giving more details.

In a statement carried by the official Saudi Press Agency, the coalition called the strike a "legitimate military action"
