With more than half of the month leftover, this year's Ramadan is already the bloodiest in recent memory, far surpassing the 421 deaths and 729 injuries that took place during the same period in 2016, considered the deadliest Ramadan in years.

Breitbart News' count, gleaned from the Religion of Peace website in coordination with news reports, excludes the number of casualties directly linked to battles between U.S.-led coalition troops and jihadists groups, as well as Iranian- and Russian-backed troops loyal to dictator Bashar al-Assad.

If all of the deaths from the ongoing conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Afghanistan had been included, the total number would be much higher. The Religion of Peace website acknowledges their estimate is an undercount, so the number of Ramadan deaths and injuries could be higher.

Demonstrators also protested against the arrest of people who were not fasting.

Jailed for a month

At the beginning of June, four men were sentenced to a month in jail for "public indecency" after eating outside during daylight.

"We're protesting about lawsuits against non-fasters... Whoever wants to fast can fast, but whoever doesn't want to shouldn't have to," demonstrator Karim Chair told AFP.

Since the 2011 revolution there have been calls for the right not to fast, but this was the first time such a demonstration has taken place in Tunisia.

Kauppakeskus satsaa Ramadanin päättävään id al-fitr -juhlapäivään – "Kampanja-aika oli viime vuonna pitkä"

Kauppakeskus Itis keskittää muslimien ramadan-juhlan juhlimisen tänä kesänä id al-fitr -juhlapäivään.

Viime kesänä Itis rakensi ensimmäisenä kauppakeskuksena Suomessa muutaman viikon kestäneen markkinointikampanjan ramadanin ja id al-fitr -juhlan ympärille.

– Kampanja-aika oli viime kesänä pitkä. Tänä vuonna pääpaino on täysin perhetapahtumassa, eli emme markkinoi tuotetarjouksia juuri ollenkaan, toisin kuin viime vuonna, Itiksen markkinointipäällikkö Anna Homén kertoo.

Itis aloitti monikulttuurisuuden huomioimisen viime kesän alla viestimällä kauppakeskuksen alesta seitsemällä eri kielellä.

Kaupallisessa mielessä id al-fitr -juhla vastaa muslimeille joulua.

Helsingin itäisten kaupunginosien väestöstä noin 25 prosenttia puhuu äidinkielenään muuta kieltä kuin suomea tai ruotsia. Alueella asuvista uussuomalaisista monet ovat muslimeja.

Viime kesänä Suomi ensin -liike järjesti "islamisaatiota" vastustavan mielenosoituksen Tallinnanaukiolla samaan aikaan id al-fitr -juhlan kanssa.

Ainakaan toistaiseksi Helsingin poliisille ei ole tullut ilmoitusta siitä, että myös tänä kesänä järjestettäisiin vastaava mielenosoitus.

Id al-fitr -juhlan alkaminen osuu tänä vuonna juhannuksen jälkeiseen sunnuntaihin 25. kesäkuuta.

Itiksessä id al-fitr -juhlaan alettiin satsata, koska juhla on jo useiden vuosien ajan näkynyt Itiksessä vilkkaana kauppapäivänä.

Itiksen teettämään kyselytutkimukseen vastanneet pienten lasten vanhemmat kertoivat käyttävänsä id al-fitr -lahjoihin 200–500 euroa perheen koosta riippuen.

Teineille puolestaan annetaan rahaa käyttöön noin 20–50 euroa.

Ostoksia aletaan tehdä jo parisen viikkoa ennen juhlapäivää.

– Viime vuonna id al-fitr -juhlamme meni erinomaisesti. Tänäkin kesänä se on tapahtuma, jollaisia meillä on myös loppiaisena ja pääsiäisenä eli ohjelmassa on esimerkiksi disko, pomppulinna ja kasvomaalausta. Tapahtuma järjestetään kauppakeskuksen keskusaukiolla, Homén jatkaa.

Three Killed In Attack On Kabul Mosque, Afghan Interior Ministry Says

A suicide bomber killed at least three people and wounded five more in an attack at a mosque in the Afghan capital, Kabul, on June 15, security officials say.

The suspected bomber tried to enter the mosque but was blocked by police, setting off a gun battle, Interior Ministry spokesman Najib Danish said.

The attacker then ran into a kitchen before detonating a bomb.

No one immediately claimed responsibility for the attack, but the Taliban and an Islamic State affiliate have targeted Shi'a in the past.

The attack came as mosques around the city were crowded for a night of religious observances as part of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.

The Al Zahra mosque is used by Kabul's Shi'ite minority, who have been targeted by suicide bombings in the past.

An attack on a Shi'ite mosque in November killed more than 30 people.

Islamic State militants claimed responsibility for that attack, as well as an attack in July that killed more than 80 people at a mostly Shi'ite demonstration.

A truck bomb in Kabul on May 31 killed more than 150 people.

Somalia restaurant attack: Death toll rises to 31 as overnight siege ends

An overnight attack and siege by al-Shabab extremists on a popular restaurant in Somalia's capital has killed at least 31, police said.

Security forces in Mogadishu ended the siege at Pizza House restaurant, a popular eatery frequented by the city's elite, Thursday morning after snipers fired on the attackers.

Senior Somali police office Capt. Mohamed Hussein said many of the attack's victims were killed at point-blank range after the attackers hunted them down.

The attack began Wednesday evening after a car bomb exploded at the gate to the restaurant and then gunmen posing as military forces stormed into the establishment.

Al-Shabab, a Somalia-based extremist group that often targets popular areas in the country's capital, claimed responsibility as the restaurant was under siege.

Soldiers surrounded the restaurant building and used guns mounted on the backs of vehicles to neutralize the militants. Troops entered the ground floor while the insurgent snipers held positions upstairs.

All five attackers were killed and after dawn the soldiers secured the building, said Hussein. The troops' efforts to take control of the restaurant were slowed by the darkness of night, forcing them to wait until morning, said Hussein.

Survivors said they hid under tables and curtains as attackers continued firing in the restaurant and hunted for patrons. Attackers moved from room to room, looking for people, said a survivor.

Border Police officer killed in Jerusalem terror attack

ISIS claims responsibility for attack on Israeli soil for first time; Hamas praises the deadly Jerusalem attack 'carried out by three martyrs'.

A female Border Police officer died after succumbing to her wounds following a suspected coordinated terror attack carried out by three assailants in multiple areas of the Old City in Jerusalem.

Staff Sergeant Major Hadas Malka, 23, was taken to the emergency care unit at nearby Hadassah University Medical Center in critical condition after sustaining multiple stab wounds during the attack. Hospital officials later pronounced her dead after failing to save her life.

Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack that killed Border Police officer Hadas Malka in a statement posted by Amaq, the group's news agency. The attack "will not be the last," said the statement.

According to sources, this is the first time that Islamic State have claimed responsibility for carrying out an attack in Israel.

Gaza-based terrorist organization Hamas praised the bloodshed but disputed the Islamic State's claim, stating that the perpetrators were affiliated to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

"The sacrificial operation in Jerusalem that was carried out by three martyrs in Jerusalem confirms that the PA's attempt to make the relationship with the occupier 'a normal relationship' is a failure. The Palestinian youth will continue to characterize the occupation as its single enemy," said Hamas spokesperson Hazim Qassim in a Facebook post.

Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party called the death of the three perpetrators a "war crime by the Israeli occupation forces" in a statement published by Fatah spokesperson Osama Al-Qawasmi.

Police said that the suspects used an "automatic weapon and knives" during the assault.

Two individuals were also evacuated to Hadassah University Medical Center in moderate and light condition after sustaining wounds from the event. The hospital said it was treating another patient for shock.

"We saw two wounded civilians near the Damascus Gate, a man of about 40 and a young man of about 22," an MDA spokesperson said in a statement.

"They were fully conscious and suffered from 'penetrating injuries'...  We provided them with emergency medical treatment and evacuated them to the hospital with their condition being moderate and stable."

A police spokesperson said that the three terrorists were "shot and killed" following the attacks. Police added that at least one of the suspects used an automatic weapon and "opened fire" during the incident.

Unconfirmed reports suggest that the event was a coordinated attack carried out by suspected Palestinian terrorists.

They were later named as 19-year-old Bara Ibrahim Muhammad Saleh; Adel Hassan Ahmad Anakush, 18; and Osama Ahmad Mustafa Atta, 19, according to a statement released by the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency).

All three had "a background in terrorist activities," or were arrested by Israeli authorities before Friday's assault, the Shin Bet added.

Afganistanissa hyökkäys poliisiasemalle: Viisi kuollutta, jopa kymmeniä haavoittunut

Afganistanin itäosassa useita ihmisiä on kuollut hyökkäyksessä poliisiasemalle, paikalliset viranomaiset kertovat uutistoimistoille.

Poliisin tiedottajan mukaan viisi poliisia kuoli ja kahdeksan haavoittui. Sairaalalähteiden mukaan haavoittuneita olisi noin 30, joista parikymmentä siviilejä. Isku tapahtui Gardezissa, joka on Paktian maakunnan pääkaupunki.

Hyökkääjiä on ollut mahdollisesti jopa viisi. Sisäministeriön tiedottajan Najib Danishin mukaan yksi itsemurhapommittaja räjäytti autopommin poliisin alueellisen päämajan portilla, minkä jälkeen neljä muuta hyökkääjää pääsi sisään.

Ilmeisesti ISIS:tä ihailleet kolme palestiinalaista tekivät iskun israelilaisia poliiseja vastaan Jerusalemissa eilen. Kaksi hyökkääjistä ehdittiin "neutralisoida" ennen  kuin vahinkoa pääsi syntymään. Kolmas hyökkääjä pääsi kuiten sipaisemaan puukolla naispoliisia ennen kuin hänet ehdittiin ampua. Saudi Twittersphere erupted this week after a migrant worker was physically abused by a man wearing traditional Saudi clothing, in yet another attack on the kingdom's vulnerable employees.

A video which surfaced online showed a man, who is assumed to be Saudi, abusing a south Asian migrant worker after catching him eating in day-light during the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.

"You dog! In Ramadan?" he screamed at the visibly terrified worker before slapping him across the face. The man then demanded the worker to stand up, as he continued to shout at him.

In 2013, the Saudi ministry of interior released a statement threatening expats who are caught eating or drinking with deportation or being dismissed from their jobs. The ministry had also urged employers to pass on the message to expats.

While the person who abused the worker has not yet been identified, and it is unclear as to whether he is the worker's employer, the way in which non-Arab workers are generally dismissed as second-class citizens of the Arab world puts them at risk of violence.

16 killed in double suicide attack in NE Nigeria

At least 16 people died in a double suicide bombing near a large camp for people made homeless by years of Boko Haram violence, Nigeria's emergency services and locals said Monday.

The bombing was one of a series of attacks in the conflict-hit region on Sunday which killed a total of 24 people, most of them civilians.

In the attack, which took place on Sunday evening, two women blew themselves up in Kofa village which houses a large camp for those displaced by Boko Haram violence, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) said.

"They killed 16 people," said regional NEMA spokesman Abdulkadir Ibrahim. Kofa lies about 15 kilometres (nine miles) southeast of Maiduguri, capital of Borno state.

Local residents gave an initial toll of 12 or 13 dead but the spokesman said three of the wounded had died of their injuries in hospital.

- Second attack by female bombers -

At around the same time, two more explosions occurred inside the nearby Dalori 2 camp which is home to some 10,000 people, he said, indicating it was caused by another two female bombers.

Several people were wounded but only the attackers died, he said, without saying how many were hurt.

Dalori is home to two camps which together provide shelter for some 50,000 people displaced by the violence between Boko Haram and the Nigerian army.

It is one of the largest camps for internally displaced people (IDP) in this remote region.

It is not the first time Boko Haram has tried to target the camp: in January last year, at least 85 people were killed when insurgents rampaged through communities near Dalori.

The latest attack is the most deadly in Nigeria since June 8, when 11 people were killed in a rare combined gun and suicide attack in the Jiddari Polo area of Maiduguri.

- A bloody weekend -

Elsewhere on Sunday evening, Boko Haram militants raided Gumsuri village near Chibok in eastern Borno state, killing five civilians.

But the gunmen were challenged by local vigilantes who engaged them in a gunbattle "killing 12 of them and arresting six others," said local tribal chief Ayuba Alamson in an account corroborated by the vigilantes.

Several hours earlier, three soldiers were killed in an ambush by militants near Wajirko village, 150 kilometres (90 miles) from Maiduguri, a local vigilante said.

Also at the weekend, residents from five villages near Maiduguri fled their homes after receiving death threats from Boko Haram following a raid by the army last month.

The Islamists accused the villagers of passing "vital information" to the army and threatened to "kill everyone" if they didn't leave the area, local residents said.

The spate of bombings underlines the threat still posed by the jihadists, despite official claims they are a spent force.

Since the start of Boko Harm's uprising in 2009, at least 20,000 people have been killed since and more than 2.6 million made homeless, many of whom are facing severe food shortages or starvation.

Paddington Station: Man Arrested After Attacking Officer

Police arrested a shirtless man on a side road running parallel with Paddington station in central London Monday afternoon after he reportedly attacked a police officer and shouted "Allahu Akbar".

Witnesses on the scene said the unidentified individual attacked an officer and shouted "foreign words" as well as the phrase "Allahu Akbar".

Officers arrested the man on suspicion of carrying a weapon and public disorder

British Transport Police said in a statement that they were not treating it as a terror incident. They said:

    Officers were called to Paddington rail station following reports of a man acting suspiciously.

    The call came into police at 12.33pm today (Monday).

    Officers attended the scene and one man has been arrested on suspicion of public order and for possession an offensive weapon.

    The man has been taken to a place of safety.

    The incident is not being treated as terror related.

Tarkoitus on kaksinainen.
Ensinnäkin halutaan alistaa ja häväistä kansallisia arvoja ja kansalaisten ihmisarvoa luomalla rinnakkainen uskonto/lakikäytäntö.
Toisaalta pyritään maksimoimaan terroristisen väkivallan määrä ja käyttö että sekä sisäministeriön hallinnonala että kansalaisten vakoilemiseksi tehty perusoikeuksien loukkaustyö saadaan päätökseen. Näin hallinto voi tosiasiallisesti lopettaa kaiken poliittisen toiminnan jonka hallinto kokee vastenmieliseksi itselleen. Ts politiikka alistetaan hallinolle eikä päinvastoin.

Islamilainen uskontopolitiikan terrorismi on totalitaariselle tai siihen pyrkivälle hallinnolle hyvin hyödyllinen väline, sikäli mikäli onnistuvat lopulta mielestään lannistamaan sen. Mikäli eivät onnistu, niin edessä on pitkä ja verinen terrorisota, mutta eliitti laskee että siinäkin tapauksessa väkivalta kohdistuu muihin kuin heihin itseensä.
