Videon mukaan jostain syystä Lontoossa ovat yleistyneet happohyökkäykset. Näitä esiintyy eniten alueella, missä asuu bangladeshilaisia. Mistä se taas johtuu? No, Bangladeshissa asuu maailman neljänneksi suurin muslimiväestö. Bangladeshin väestöstä 86,6 % on muslimeja. Ilmeisesti kyse on siitä, että paikallinen tapa on levittäytynyt Lontooseen alueelle, missä sattuu asumaan paljon kyseisen lähtöpaikan kulttuurin väkeä.

They arrived in Lisbon on a flight from Casablanca in 2013. SEF border controls flagged their false passports, and the two Moroccans - neither ostensibly travelling together - gave similar stories of how this was the "only way" to flee a country where they were being persecuted.

Breaking news stories last night explain how the two men were given refugee status, housed in an asylum centre in Bobadela, Loures (on the outskirts of Lisbon) but were really "two Daesh terrorists" who then set about spreading their extremist ideology "trying to recruit new members" in this country.

It is common practice for refugees given asylum in Portugal to 'drop off the radar'. Indeed government minister Eduardo Cabrita told journalists last month that: "Portugal does not have any strategy that puts any kind of limitation on liberty of circulation" once refugees are taken in.

As a result, hundreds have just gone walkabout. But in this case, the PJ has been tracking the men with the help of European police.

One of the Moroccans - Hicham el-Hanafi, 26 - was arrested in France last November, suspected of planning a terrorist attack there and the other has just been extradited from Germany to Portugal for interrogation. Abdessalam Tazi, 63 is described by national tabloid Correio da Manhã as a "former policeman in his country".

A statement from the Attorney General's office explains the PJ sought Tazi for "adhesion and support of an international terrorist organisation (Daesh - ISIS) and the recruitment and financing of terrorism".

Like el-Hanafi, Tazi received monthly cash benefits from the Portuguese once he was awarded refugee status.

He was arrested as part of a prevention campaign following the recent London attempt. After verification of his identity, the police realized that he was the target of a European arrest warrant issued by Portugal. He was then handed over to the Portuguese authorities, who suspected him, since 2015, of belonging to the terrorist group of the Islamic State.

Tazi and El Hanafi, had succeeded in recruiting many young Europeans and financed their journey to the conflict zones in Iraq and Syria to prepare them for Europe.

Tuomari Richard Mansell päätyi säästämään Mustafa Bashirin, 34, välittömältä vankeustuomiolta. Suur-Manchesterin Oldhamissa pelannut mies sai sen sijaan jatkaa lupaavaa krikettiuraansa, vaikka oli hakannut vaimoaan krikettimailallaan.

Bashir oli poliisitutkinnan mukaan murtanut vaimoltaan käsivarren hakattuaan häntä toistuvasti. Hän oli haukkunut Karimia, koska tämä käytti länsimaisia vaatteita, ja yritti kääntää vaimonsa perheen tätä vastaan. Kun vaimo lähti naisystäviensä kanssa ulos, Bashir kutsui häntä "huoraksi".

Avioliiton aikana Bashir hakkasi Karimia mailalla selkään, kun tämä oli hänen mielestään puhunut liian kauan puhelimessa. Mies myös ilmoitti pystyvänsä lyömään niin kovaa, että vaimo kuolee.

Toisen riidan aikana Bashir pakotti vaimonsa nielemään tabletteja ja valkaisuainetta ja käski tätä tappamaan itsensä.

Hani Hersi -nimistä, kuraaniopettajana toiminutta, kaavutettua ja hunnutettua muslimiakkaa syytetään seksin harrastamisesta 14-vuotiaan pojan kanssa Lontoossa loppuvuodesta 2014 ja alkuvuodesta 2015. Oikeudessa meni näköjään pelleilyksi, kun ensimmäisessä kuulemisessa ei ollut tarvetta arabian kielen tulkille, mutta tähän tänään pidettyyn sellaista vaadittiin.

Varsinainen oikeudenkäynti alkaa elokuussa.

A Muslim woman has been accused of having sex with a 14-year-old boy during a year-long campaign of alleged abuse.

Quran tutor Hani Hersi, 36, allegedly had full intercourse with the child, who cannot be identified, between December 2014 and January 2015.

According to charges Hersi also kissed the teen on multiple occasions when she 'didn't reasonably believe that he was of or over the age of 16'.

Today she arrived at Wood Green Crown Court in London, with a black veil draped over her hair and face.

She removed her veil before entering the dock and pleading not guilty to three counts of sexual activity with a child.

The defendant had asked for an Arabic interpreter to help translate during her hearing.

But Judge Rosa Dean demanded to know why one had been booked when they had not been required during Hersi's first appearance.

She said: 'Who booked the interpreter? Because it wasn't required at the magistrates' court.

'It was made quite plain on the sending sheet that an interpreter wasn't required.'

Brinda Soora, defending, replied: 'I was quite surprised to see an interpreter as well.'

When the barrister asked Hersi if she needed an interpreter she said: 'Some kind of words I don't understand.'

Judge Dean told the defendant: 'The trial will take place in August and in the meantime you have to comply with your bail condition.'

Hersi's trial has been listed in the warned list at Wood Green Crown Court in August.

Kaksi teinityttöä pidätettiin Ranskassa epäiltynä terrorisuunnitelmista

Kaksi teini-ikäistä tyttöä on pidätetty tänään Etelä-Ranskassa epäiltynä terrori-iskun suunnittelemisesta, oikeuslähde kertoo.

Terrorisminvastaisten viranomaisten oli määrä kuulustella 14- ja 15-vuotiaita tyttöjä. Etsinnät molempien tyttöjen kotona paljastivat oikeuslähteen mukaan todistusaineistoa, jonka mukaan tytöt ovat saattaneet suunnitella iskua.

Tutkintaa lähellä olevan lähteen mukaan ei vielä tiedetä, kuinka pitkällä suunnitelmat olivat. Hänen mukaansa aseita ei löytynyt.

Boy brutally beaten by gang of eight in Croydon 'after revealing he is a refugee'

Seventeen-year-old suffered 'repeated blows to the head'

Police have launched a hate crime investigation after a 17-year-old boy was brutally beaten by a gang after revealing he was an asylum seeker.

The Kurdish Iranian refugee was in a critical condition in hospital after the attack, which took place in Croydon, South London.

Police believe eight people approached the boy as he sat at a bus stop with friends outside a pub in the Shrublands area.

DS Kris Blamires from Croydon CID said: "It is understood that the suspects asked the victim where he was from and when they established that he was an asylum seeker they chased him and launched a brutal attack.

"He has sustained critical head and facial injuries as a result of this attack which included repeated blows to the head by a large group of attackers.

"A number of people came to the aid of the victim as he lay unconscious and injured following the assault."

DS Blamires said the suspects fled after the attack. He encouraged witnesses and bystanders who came to aid of the boy to contact the police.

Croydon Central MP Gavin Barwell described the attackers as "scum".

He told the Press Association: "I think most people in Croydon will be as appalled as I am that what appears to have happened is a young man who came to this country seeking sanctuary has apparently been targeted because of his ethnic background.

"It's an appalling crime and I hope the people responsible are caught quickly and receive the full force of British justice."

He said Croydon, a very diverse community, generally had "very good relations between people of different backgrounds".

"This is completely out of character but that is no comfort to the individual who is fighting for his life now," he added.

"All communities stand together against hate and we would ask anyone with any information to come forward immediately," DS Blamires added.

The boy's friends escaped the attack and suffered only minor injuries.

Police hunt thug after Islington bus passenger punched and attacked on ground

Police are hunting a thug after a bus passenger was punched in the face before being thrown to the pavement and attacked.

The victim, a 44-year-old, was trying to board a bus near the council offices in Upper Street, Islington, when the man lashed out at him, police say.

He was then hurled on to the ground and attacked as he lay on the floor before the assailant, who was clutching a Waitrose shopping bag, walked off towards Angel.

The injured man was rushed to hospital where he remains, days after the March 28 attack, which took place at around 3.30pm.

Police say the attacker was black, aged from 25 to 35, and of athletic build with short, possibly receding hair.

He wore a smart, dark jacket and dark trousers. Police say the man was between 5ft 6ins and 5ft 11ins tall.

Following the incident, detectives have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace.

Jonkinlaista arabeihin liittyvää hyväntekeväisyysjärjestöä johtava Mohamed Nacer meni huomauttamaan puljunsa ulkopuolella notkuvalle joukolle torstaina, että voisivat siirtyä muualle. Alueella kuulemma käydään näkyvää huumekauppaa. Yksi miehistä alkoi uhkailla Naceria ja uhkasi viiltää tältä vatsan auki. Hackney attack: Charity boss knocked unconscious outside Finsbury Park office in daylight street attack

A charity boss was knocked unconscious after a man smashed a Coca Cola bottle over his head in a daylight street attack outside his north London office.

Father-of-two Mohamed Nacer was rushed to hospital after being floored in Finsbury Park by a stranger who told him: "I will open up your stomach".

Mr Nacer, 45, who runs community charity the Arab Advice Bureau, had confronted a group of men loitering outside his office on Seven Sisters Road at around 5.30pm on Thursday evening.

He said: "Seven Sisters Road is a big area, lots of shops and obviously there is a high rate of crime here and recently I noticed there was a big rise of drug dealing in the area and around Wilberforce Road.

"I have reported it to the police. They are selling drugs in daylight, you have to do something about it."

He said he saw a group of men loitering outside his office and went to confront them.

"I saw them outside and I said please can you get away from my shop," Mr Nacer said.

"They were saying I will open up your stomach. I was very scared because the guy was putting his hand inside his jacket.

"I went to stand by the shop. I tried to speak Arabic to reason with one of the guys. I thought he would take that as a compliment and he would calm down.

"The guy went inside the shop and grabbed a bottle of coke and hit me on the head.

Police have launched a manhunt after a teenager was slashed in the face for looking at a man's girlfriend "the wrong way".

Neighbours said the 17-year-old was attacked with a knife after he made eye-contact with the couple as they walked hand-in-hand in Dagenham.

The knifeman allegedly screamed 'what are you looking at?' and slashed the victim across the face.

The teenager fled to Becontree Tube station where TfL staff saw that he was bleeding and called paramedics to attend to his facial injuries.

Neighbour Susan Snow, 63, said: "All it takes these days is one wrong look and you can get stabbed, it's pathetic really. It's so lucky the poor boy wasn't blinded or worse.

"The area is getting so bad I'm scared to walk my dogs out at night anymore."

The attack happened in Sheppey Road, near to Gale Street, at about 4.30pm on Friday, March 10.

Detective Constable Sam Carey said: "This occurred at a busy time of day and I am appealing to anyone who was in or around the area, who may have seen anything they now think is suspicious to contact me."

The suspect is a black male in his 20s, around 6ft 4ins tall. He fled the scene along Sheppey Road.

Neekerikaksoset (kuvat jutussa) kuuluivat naamioituneeseen joukkoon, joka jahtasi 15-vuotiasta ja hyökkäsi hänen kimppuunsa baseballmailoin ja veitsin varustautuneena lokakuussa 2015 Brixtonissa. Toinen sai 5 vuotta ja toinen 4½ vuotta vankeutta. Kaiken kaikkiaan kahdeksan 14-16 -vuotiasta sai syytteen törkeästä pahoinpitelystä tähän keissiin liittyen ja osa muistakin on jo saanut tuomionsa.

Jailed: Brixton twins who stabbed and beat teen outside birthday party

A pair of twins who stabbed and beat a 15-year-old outside a south London birthday party in a "brutal and callous" gang attack have been jailed for nearly 10 years.

Taylor and Brandon Joseph were part of a masked gang who confronted the teen outside a family party full of young children in Hardel Walk, Brixton.

The youngster was chased by the armed youths who, after demanding to know where he was from, launched a savage attack with baseball bats, poles and knives.

Their attack only stopped when a passing car sounded its horn and they fled into nearby streets.

The boy collapsed in a stairwell with multiple stab wounds to his leg, arm and back, leaving him with a punctured lung and stomach.

He needed two operations and spent 10 days in hospital after the attack on October 3 2015. The teen required rehabilitative treatment in the months afterwards and still has nerve damage in his shoulder.

In July 2016, eight people were charged with grievous bodily harm with intent. All were aged between 14 and 16 at the time of the attack.

On Friday, Brandon Joseph, 18, of Ewen Crescent, Brixton, was jailed for five years after being convicted of GBH with intent at Inner London Crown Court.

His brother was jailed for four-and-a-half years.

Thornton Heath stabbing: Man fighting for life after being repeatedly knifed in south London

A man is fighting for life after being repeatedly stabbed and left for dead by thugs in south London.

The victim, aged 23, was found by police bleeding heavily with multiple stab wounds in Thornton Heath, Croydon on Wednesday.

Two men are believed to have fled the scene shortly after the attack at around 8.30pm, Scotland Yard said.

The victim was found at Bensham Lane, close to the junction with Lodge Road, but is believed to have been knifed in nearby Kelling Gardens.

He is currently in a critical condition at a south London hospital, police said.

Detectives are hunting two men believed to be involved in the attack, which is being treated as attempted murder.

The first suspect is described as a black man, of a heavy build and approximately 5ft 6ins tall. He was wearing a dark puffer jacket and dark trousers.

The second suspect is described as a black man, with a slim/average build and approximately 5ft 5ins tall. He was also wearing a dark puffer jacket and dark trousers.

A Met Police spokesman said: "Detectives from Croydon CID are investigating and believe the victim was attacked by two male suspects who then ran along Bensham Lane towards Cameron Road.

"They are eager to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has information on the two men who fled the scene shortly after."

Kolme miestä on saanut syytteen Abdifatah Sheikhey -nimisen miehen ampumisesta Ilfordissa 21. maaliskuuta. Syytettyjen nimet ovat Sami Omar, Roberto Mohamed ja Jordie Kibusi. Kyseessä on siis selkeästi ns. löyhä kaveriporukka nimien perusteella. Lisäksi kaksi muuta miestä on pidätetty.

Abdifatah Sheikhey murder: Three men charged over fatal shooting of teenager in Ilford

Three men have been charged over the murder of a teenager in east London.

Abdifatah Sheikhey, 19, was shot dead on Ilford Lane in Ilford at just after 10pm on March 21.

Police investigating the killing have now charged three men, all from Ilford.

Sami Omar, 21, and Roberto Mohamed, 20, both of Kingston Road, were charged along with Jordie Kibusi, 20, of Wisteria Close.

They will appear in custody at Barkingside Magistrates' Court on Friday.

The Met Police said two men, both aged 23, were also arrested on March 28 and have been bailed to a date to be confirmed.

Poliisi haluaa jututtaa näitä kolmea henkilöä. Mielenkiintoista nähdä mikä vaikutus tällä... Hmmmm... väri paljoudella... on uutisointiin. Jo pidätettyjen etnisyyteen en ole törmännyt, mutta kertoo, että siellä on ollut muitakin kuin pottunokkia katsomossa.

Viidakkoveitsimies raiskasi telttailemassa olleen naisen Saksassa - poikaystävä joutui katselemaan vierestä

23-vuotias nainen ja 26-vuotias mies matkustivat viikonlopuksi kansallispuistoon lähelle Bonnin kaupunkia. Pariskunta yöpyi teltassa paikalla, josta näki suoraan Rein-joelle.

Kello puoli yhden aikaan sunnuntain vastaisena yönä tuntematon mies ilmestyi telttaan ja uhkasi nuoria viidakkoveitsellä.

Mies pakotti naisen mukaansa ulos teltasta. Poikaystävän hän pakotti veitsellä uhaten jäämään telttaan.

Tekijä leikkasi teräaseella telttaan repeämän ja raiskasi 23-vuotiaan naisen ulkona raa'asti tämän poikaystävän silmien edessä.

Teon jälkeen epäilty pakeni Rein-joen suuntaan.

Poliisi käynnisti suuretsinnät heti uhrin poikaystävän soitettua hätänumeroon teon jälkeen. Miestä haettiin helikoptereiden ja poliisikoirien avulla - toistaiseksi tuloksetta. Uhri toimitettiin sairaalaan.

Tekijä on poliisin mukaan 20-30-vuotias, tummaihoinen, hoikka ja noin 180 senttimetriä pitkä. Mies oli uhannut pariskuntaa huonolla englannin kielellä. Poliisi pyytää yleisöltä vihjeitä ja varoittaa alueella liikkuvasta seksuaalirikollisesta.

- Pariskunta pystyi itse antamaan hyvin tarkan kuvauksen miehestä, ja me täsmennämme sitä nyt, poliisin edustaja sanoi uutistoimisto DPA:lle maanantaina.

Teko tapahtui luonnonsuojelualue Siegauessa lähellä paikkaa, jossa Rein-joki on mahdollista ylittää lossilla. Tekoa tutkitaan törkeänä raiskauksena.

Pariskunta saa viranomaisten mukaan kriisiapua.

2017-04-12 The Local: Afghan refugee faces deportation after 25 years in Switzerland

A Swiss court has ruled that a 27-year-old Afghan man who came to Switzerland as a refugee at the age of two should be deported to Afghanistan after committing a number of crimes.

Under Swiss law a refugee can be deported even after many years in Switzerland if he is deemed a threat to security or public order.

In this case the Fribourg resident, who has spent 25 years in Switzerland and does not know his country of origin, appealed to the cantonal court after the authorities revoked his residency permit in 2015 following a number of convictions for violent behaviour.

But last month the court rejected his appeal, Swiss media reported on Tuesday.

The defendant said he had no relationship with Afghanistan, that he didn't know the language or the country's customs.

The current fragile situation in Afghanistan and the fact he was from an ethnic minority also formed part of his argument against his deportation.

However the court drew on the opinion of the Swiss migration office (SEM) which in 2015 said it found no reason to think the man would be treated inhumanely if he returned to Afghanistan, mainly because so much time had passed since the events that led to him and his family fleeing the country as refugees.

The public interest in deporting him outweighed his private interest in staying here, concluded the judges.
