Ääri-islamistinen Abu Sayaaf -ryhmä on ilmoittautunut Filippiinien Davaon pommi-iskun tekijäksi. Terrori-iskussa presidentti Rodrigo Duterten kotikaupungissa kuoli perjantai-iltana ainakin 14 ihmistä.

Viranomaisten mukaan alustavissa tutkimuksissa löytyi sirpaleita omatekoisesta räjähteestä. Isku tehtiin vilkkaalla yötorilla, joka sijaitsee lähellä yhtä Davaon suosituimmista hotelleista.

Sekä islamistit että kommunistikapinalliset ovat tehneet iskuja Davaossa. Presidentti Duterte määräsi viime viikolla suurhyökkäyksen Abu Sayaaf -ryhmää vastaan Jolon saarella, joka sijaitsee noin 900 kilometrin päässä Davaosta. Taisteluissa kuoli viisitoista sotilasta.

Heitä on hyvinkin saatettu uhkailla, on tapahtunut jotain hyvin järkyttävää ja he ovat paenneet kollektiivisen kauhun tilassa. Syy kauhuun voi olla mikä tahansa, ei välttämättä rikos, vaan jokin muu asia, jota he eivät ole kyenneet hallitsemaan (esim. uskottu kummittelu, ufojen kokeminen, takapihalta löytynyt ruumis, tmv.).

Sieppaaja vei 11-vuotiaan Jacobin 27 vuotta sitten - pojan jäänteet löytyivät vihdoin

Aseella uhkaillut naamiomies sieppasi Jacobin St. Josephissa Minnesotassa vuonna 1989.

Jacob oli pyöräilemässä kotiinsa veljensä ja ystäviensä kanssa lokakuisena iltana, kun naamiomies pysäytti pojat. Mies kysyi poikien ikää, valitsi Jacobin, pojista vanhimman, ja käski muiden juosta metsään taakseen katsomatta. Tämän jälkeen Jacobista ei enää kuultu mitään ennen kuin nyt, kun hänen jäänteensä löytyivät.

Kuolinsyytutkija varmisti hammastietojen perusteella, että löydetyt jäänteet ovat tosiaan Jacobin.

- Emme olisi halunneet tämän päättyvän näin. Sydämemme ovat murtuneita, Jacobin äiti Patty Wetterling sanoi.

Jacob katosi 27 vuotta sitten.

Äiti elätteli viimeiseen asti toiveita, että hänen poikansa olisi yhä elossa.

Jacobin ruumiin jäänteet löytyivät lapsipornosta epäillyn miehen antamien tietojen perusteella. Poliisi ei ole toistaiseksi kertonut, aikooko se esittää miestä vangittavaksi tai epäilläänkö häntä Jacobin murhasta. Viranomaiset ovat luvanneet kertoa tapauksesta lisää tällä viikolla.

Jacobia etsittiin aikoinaan tuhansien vapaaehtoisten voimin, ja hänen katoamisensa johti lakimuutokseen Yhdysvalloissa. "Jacobin laki" velvoittaa osavaltioita ylläpitämään rekistereitä seksuaalirikollisista.

Saksalaismies sai lahjaksi kuusi pulloa "natsiviiniä" – edessä pahimmillaan kolmen vuoden vankeustuomio

Poliisi on käynnistänyt Saksassa tutkinnan baarissa esillä olleiden Adolf Hitlerin kuvalla varustettujen viinipullojen etikettien takia.

Yhden augsburgilaissen majatalonisännän hallussa olleen viinipullon etikettiin on viranomaisten mukaan ollut painettuna Adolf Hitlerin kuvan lisäksi natsien tervehdys Sieg Heil (tervehdys voitolle).

Tapauksesta uutisoi maanantaina Deutsche Welle, jonka mukaan majatalonisäntä on sanonut poliisille, ettei ole ollut tietoinen siitä, että etiketit ovat kiellettyjä. Hän kertoi saaneensa "Führer-viinit" lahjaksi ja pitäneensä niitä hauskoina.

Poliisi oli tehnyt ratsian Baijerin osavaltiossa sijaitsevaan pubiin viime viikolla, kun ihmiset olivat raportoineet loukkaavista etiketeistä, kertoi puolestaan Augsburger Allgemeine. Myös lehden lukijat olivat valittaneet etiketeistä, koska viinipullot olivat olleet näkyvillä baarissa.

Hitlerin kuvalla varustettujen viinien ja oluiden myyminen on sallittua esimerkiksi Italiassa, mutta Saksassa laki kieltää käyttämästä natsitunnuksia ja -kuvia myös esimerkiksi turisteille myytävien matkamuistojen yhteydessä. Natsisymbolien käyttö sallitaan Saksassa vain opetustarkoituksessa ja satiirin yhteydessä.

Poliisin tiedottaja vahvisti saksalaismedialle, että Augsburgin tapauksesta on käynnistetty tutkinta. 49-vuotiasta majatalonisäntää voi uhata pahimmillaan jopa kolmen vuoden vankeusrangaistus. Pahennusta herättäneitä viinipulloja oli miehen hallussa kaikkiaan kuusi kappaletta.

Joulukuussa 27-vuotiasta saksalaismiestä uhkasi vankeustuomio tatuoinnin vuoksi, kun hänet kuvattiin yläruumis paljaana uimahallissa. Tatuoinnissa on lause Jedem Das Seine (Jokaiselle ansionsa mukaan), joka oli Buchenwaldin keskitysleirin portissa, sekä kuva piikkilankojen ympäröimästä Auschwitzin kuolemanleiristä.

Police in Upper Austria have detained five young asylum seekers from Afghanistan over accusations they sexually harassed women during a wine and beer festival in the city of Wels over the weekend.

Eight women have so far made official complaints to the police, saying that they were groped and sexually harassed on Saturday. Police have since arrested five young men aged between 15 and 22, and are still looking for another suspect.

Nainen (Noor Alneaimi) oli pysähtynyt kuuntelemaan kristittyä katusaarnaajaa ja Henderson sanoi tälle hänen olevan saatana, huora ja kuffari sekä käski tätä riisumaan farkkunsa. Hän myös sanoi seuraavansa Alneaimia kotiin ja räjäyttävänsä tämän talon. Välikohtaus keräsi paikalle katsojia, joista osa Hendersonin lisäksi (ilmeisesti yhtä oikeauskoisia muslimeja) huuteli naiselle Isis-henkisiä kommentteja ja kyseli hintaa. Henderson oli uhrin mukaan tätä ennen huudellut pääasiassa valkoisille naisille näiden olevan huoria.

Tuo kusipää on nyt muutenkin naurettava, mutta mielenkiintoista on myös se, että hänen vaimonsa Danielle (tsekkaa liitekuva 2) on toki myöskin pukeutunut tiukkoihin farkkuihin ja toppiin.

A Muslim bodyguard called a woman a 'prostitute' and threatened to 'blow her up' because she was wearing skinny jeans, a court heard.

Krissoni Henderson, 31, told Noor  Alneaimi she was 'Satan' and called her a 'slut' before ordering her to take off her jeans while she was listening to a Christian preacher in Birmingham city centre on July 4, prosecutors claim.

The victim, who was also a Muslim, said she was reduced to tears following the ten-minute tirade which attracted a crowd of 60 people and one man asked her: 'How much do you charge for the night?'

Henderson and several others allegedly hurled pro-ISIS abuse at Ms Alneaimi, 38, which left her 'absolutely petrified'.

Police arrived in New Street at around 5.30pm and questioned Henderson but he was allowed to walk free from the scene.

The bodyguard, who is currently unemployed, was arrested at his home in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter the following day and charged with causing intentional harassment, alarm or distress and using racially aggravated insulting words or behaviour.

Henderson, of Brook Street, went on trial at Birmingham Magistrates' Court today and appeared in the dock wearing a skin-tight baby blue sweatshirt, brown trousers and a dark blue waistcoat.

During the hearing he paced around the dock and shook his head and at one point he turned his back on proceedings to pray.

Prosecutor Simon Brownsey told the court: 'It's the Crown's case that at the hands of Mr Henderson this woman was the victim of religious and offensive words, including calling her a kafir - a derogatory term for a non-believer.

'(He also said) he would follow her home and blow her up. At the time he wasn't known to her and she has expressed concerns about seeing him again because of the threat.

'She was listening to a Christian preacher on New Street and the defendant was also present. He targeted Noor Alneaimi by observing she was wearing tight jeans and told her to take them off.

'He told her she was Satan, she was the devil, she was a slut, she was a prostitute. He said: "Take off your tight jeans or you're going to burn in hell, kafir. I'm going to follow you home and blow up your house."

Henderson accepts he was there but argues he didn't use these words or engage in this behaviour, Mr Brownsey added.

Giving evidence from behind a screen, student Ms Alneaimi told the court: 'I was walking down the street when I heard a Christian preacher. I found it quite interesting so I stopped to listen.

'I'm a Muslim and I have respect for all religions. All of a sudden I could hear the defendant shout abusive language to passers by.

'He started calling females on the street prostitutes, predominantly white women, calling them sluts. One woman started crying and ran off.

'Then he started hurling abuse at me. He said: "Look at your tight jeans. You are a kafir'. I was dressed in Western clothes so I don't think he thought I was a Muslim."

'He kept saying: 'Satan, Satan, Satan' and it started drawing attention.

'I moved away because I was becoming frightened. But something inside me said: "No, I'm going to go and confront him."

'I said to him: 'Excuse me, why would you say those horrible things to me?'

'A female with him lunged at me but he said: "Leave it, leave it" and started raising his voice even louder.

'I stuck my middle finger up at him and told him I was going to report him to the authorities. He said: "They can't do nothing. I will come to your house and blow up you and blow up your house"'.

'I started shaking. I had just had double eye surgery. A group of men started sniggering and one of them said 'oi oi, darling' and asked how much I charged for the night. I started to cry because my image had been tarnished.'

'Then he started shouting: 'Long live Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi' - the leader of ISIS. Then a group of seven men in black robes with beards came over to me openly told me they supported Anjem Choudary and ISIS. They said: 'What are you going to do about it?'

Pariisissa tutkitaan epäilyä terrori-iskun yrityksestä lähellä Notre Damen katedraalia.

Katedraalin liepeiltä löytyi sunnuntain vastaisena yönä hylätty henkilöauto, jossa oli kuusi kaasusäiliötä. Yksi säiliö oli matkustajan istuimella edessä, viisi takaluukussa. Mitään sytytintä ei löytynyt. Autolla ei ollut rekisterikilpiä, ja löydettäessä siinä oli hätävilkut päällä, kertoo Le Figaro -lehti.

Poliisilähteiden mukaan tapauksen yhteydessä on pidätetty kaksi henkilöä, joista toinen on auton omistaja. Molemmat olivat poliisin ennestään tuntemia. Figaron mukaan poliisi on lisäksi ottanut kiinni useita muitakin henkilöitä.

Ranskan viranomaiset katsovat, että uusien terrori-iskujen vaara on edelleen hyvin korkea. Tiedustelupalvelun päällikkö Patrick Calvar varoitti keväällä, että ääri-islamistiset terroristit saattavat tehdä seuraavaksi autopommi-iskuja.

Pariisissa tutkitaan epäilyä terrori-iskun yrityksestä lähellä Notre Damen katedraalia.

Katedraalin liepeiltä löytyi sunnuntain vastaisena yönä hylätty henkilöauto, jossa oli kuusi kaasusäiliötä. Yksi säiliö oli matkustajan istuimella edessä, viisi takaluukussa. Mitään sytytintä ei löytynyt. Autolla ei ollut rekisterikilpiä, ja löydettäessä siinä oli hätävilkut päällä, kertoo Le Figaro -lehti.

Poliisilähteiden mukaan tapauksen yhteydessä on pidätetty kaksi henkilöä, joista toinen on auton omistaja. Molemmat olivat poliisin ennestään tuntemia. Figaron mukaan poliisi on lisäksi ottanut kiinni useita muitakin henkilöitä.

Ranskan viranomaiset katsovat, että uusien terrori-iskujen vaara on edelleen hyvin korkea. Tiedustelupalvelun päällikkö Patrick Calvar varoitti keväällä, että ääri-islamistiset terroristit saattavat tehdä seuraavaksi autopommi-iskuja.

MTV "unohti" kertoa muutamia melko paljastavia yksityiskohtia tästä tapauksesta.

Ensinnäkin auton omistaja on poliisin listalla, jolle on kerätty henkilöitä, joita epäillään uskonnollisiksi radikaaleiksi. MTV sanoi omistajan olevan "poliisin ennestään tuntema".

Autosta löytyi arabiankielisiä dokumentteja ja lisäksi poliisi epäilee, että tämä olisi ollut ikään kuin kuivaharjoittelua varmaankin siksi ettei sytytintä löytynyt tai ainakaan sitä ei oltu kytketty.

The 'radicalised' owner of a car found packed with gas cylinders close to Notre Dame cathedral has been arrested, police have revealed.

The vehicle, a Peugeot 607 without a licence plate, was found with its hazard lights flashing close to the landmark building in the heart of the French capital.

Documents with writing in Arabic were also found in the car.

Police say the car's owner, who is now in custody, is on an intelligence services watchlist of people suspected of religious radicalisation.

One of the seven canisters inside was empty when police found the abandoned vehicle parked on a Seine riverside stretch called the Quai de Montebello in the fifth arrondissement of Paris last Saturday night.

A police official revealed today: 'We think he may have been trying to carry out a test-run.'

The cylinders were not thought to have been connected to detonator.

There are reports in France that two people have been arrested. The car's owner and an associate, both known to police, were arrested on Tuesday, police said, and anti-terror prosecutors have opened a preliminary investigation.

The mysterious car had no number plate, but investigators have spent the past four days raiding the homes of anybody who might be linked to it.

Mentally ill man, 23, admits stabbing lecturer to death on his doorstep days after he became a father

A man has admitted killing a university lecturer as he went to post cards telling friends and family about the birth of his daughter.

Femi Nandap, who has a history of mental illness, admitted fatally stabbing Jeroen Ensink outside his north London home on December 29.

Mr Ensink , 41, a senior lecturer in public health engineering at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, was described by colleagues as a "natural educator".

He was knifed just days after he and wife Nadja became parents for the first time.

Nandap admitted killing Mr Ensink, while appearing at the Old Bailey via video link from Broadmoor.

Wearing a black hooded jumper and thick-rimmed black glasses, and with short black hair, Nandap spoke only to confirm his name and to enter his plea.

The court heard he had a history of mental illness.

Duncan Atkinson QC, prosecuting, said the decision to accept the plea had been taken "both in the light of that very clear and unanimous psychiatric opinion that there was abnormality of mental functioning at the time, and that did diminish responsibility."

Mr Atkinson added that "given his previous history and the facts of the offence itself", that it would not be in the public interest to pursue the murder charge.

Detective Chief Inspector Jamie Piscopo, of the Met's Homicide and Major Crime Command, said: "Dr Jeroen Ensink left his home that lunchtime to post a number of cards to friends and family to inform them of the recent birth of his daughter.

"What should have been the happiest time of Jeroen's life was ended by the violent and unprovoked actions of Nandap.

"Jeroen had only walked a short distance when he was approached by Nandap, who launched into a vicious attack with a knife. He did not stand a chance, and now, sadly, his daughter will grow up without her father in her life."

Witnesses described seeing a knifeman minutes after the attack.

Members of the public and the police were said to have chased him along a road before he was tasered and arrested.

Texas high school shooting: 1 shot; 2 on loose, police say

One person has been shot at Alpine High School in western Texas, and two shooters are believed to be on the loose, the Brewster County Sheriff's office said Thursday.

The school, which has about 280 students, was placed on lockdown, the school district said. The school is in Alpine, a community of about 6,500 people roughly 200 miles southeast of El Paso. Thursday's shooting came just over two weeks after the new school year began.

Kahta naista etsitään Pariisin kaasuautoon liittyen

Ranskassa poliisi etsii kahta nuorta naista, joiden epäillään liittyvän Notre Damen katedraalin läheltä löydettyyn kaasusäiliöitä sisältäneeseen henkilöautoon. Tällä haavaa kiinni otettuna on kaksi pariskuntaa.

Neekeri ampui katkaistulla haulikolla 21-vuotiasta miestä rintaan toukokuussa Lontoossa kadulla ja myös 16-vuotias koulupoika sai osuman käsivarteensa. Naamioitunut tekijä ja kaksi muuta naamioitunutta neekeriä pakenivat paikalta. 21-vuotias sai vakavammat vammat, mutta säilyi kuitenkin hengissä.

Valvontakameran videolla nähdään yhden miehistä antavan haulikon kassistaan ampujalle sekä miesten pakenevan ampumisen jälkeen pyörällä ja jalan. Poliisi etsii edelleen kyseisiä miehiä (kuvat liitteenä).

This is the shocking moment a gang launched a sawn-off shotgun attack on a man on a street before injuring a schoolboy as he walked to a library.

Chilling CCTV footage shows a man getting the shotgun out of his bag and handing it to someone else in Brixton, South London, before they run up the road.

The man with the gun then points and shoots towards people stood in the residential street at about 7pm, injuring the 21-year-old man and a 16-year-old schoolboy.

The men flee down a road before one of them makes off on a bicycle with the two others running behind as they try to mask their faces with bandanas.

The suspect on the bicycle can be seen in the footage waving the gun in the direction of two passers-by just yards away as he cycles past making his escape.

The 21-year-old man was shot in the chest and taken to a South London hospital, where he received immediate surgery but made a full recovery.

The 16-year-old, who was on his way to the library when he ran into the path of the gunman, suffered a minor wound to his arm which was treated in hospital.

Metropolitan Police Detective Constable Jo Ross, who is leading the investigation into the incident on May 12, said: 'The 21-year-old victim was fortunate to recover from what were potentially life-threatening injuries at the time of the incident.

'Other passers-by were threatened by having a shotgun pointed at them - these are dangerous people.

'We are keen for the public to give us any information in relation to this appeal, who witnessed the incident or who recognises the suspects.

'It happened in broad daylight and in an area full of schoolchildren.'

ISIS planned to use chainsaws to murder Christians in a shopping centre, according to the son of a radical imam.

The teenager, who cannot be named, told cops about the sickening plot when he was arrested after he was allegedly spotted in a video walking down a street and calling in Arabic for the murder of Christians.

The youngster is the son of radical imam Shayh Alami from the eastern Belgian city of Verviers - described by Belgian media as "one of the most important breeding grounds for Islamists in Belgium".

ISIS executioners reportedly used a chainsaw to slice nine youths in half in a gruesome public execution earlier this month.

A source told Iraqi News : "ISIS fighters have executed nine youths of Mosul. The outfit accused that these youths belonged to an anti-ISIS resistance faction
