Älkää nyt olko niin kyynisiä Rotherhamin kaupunginvaltuuston suhteen. On ihan luonnollista, että tällaiset pikkujutut jäävät vähälle huomiolle kun on tärkeämpääkin tekemistä, kuten etnisiin vähemmistöihin kuuluneiden lapsien vieminen UKIP:ia kannattavilta sijaisvanhemmilta.

Hyvin aiheellinen huomautus.

Rotherhamissa kaupungin eri osastojen johtajat eivät vieläkään halua ottaa mitään vastuuta tapahtuneesta,
mutta osa vanhemmista ei tähän tyydy.
Yksi raiskaajista, niistä viidestä jotka saivat tuomion teoistaan, on jo vapautettu vankilasta:

Not one council boss or police chief was prepared to shoulder the blame yesterday for their failure to stop the horrific abuse of at least 1,400 vulnerable children.

The shameless buck-passing continued even as detectives were urged to finally hunt down the child rapists – mainly of Asian origin – who they allowed to escape justice for 16 years. Among the officials shrugging off responsibility was police and crime commissioner Shaun Wright, who stubbornly defied demands for his resignation from the Home Secretary.

And when senior Labour figures also told him to go he renounced his membership of the party. Despite being responsible for children's services from 2005 to 2010 – when the abuse in Rotherham was at its height – Mr Wright claimed a damning report highlighting its full extent came as a 'huge surprise'. He added: 'I don't think any of this was my direct fault.'

Others denying culpability include former Rotherham council boss Ged Fitzgerald, deputy leader Paul Lakin and social services chief Joyce Thacker, who has suggested parents should share the blame. In other developments:

    Lawyers representing 15 victims are suing the council and police in a class action for damages;
    Officials who failed to prevent the abuse have gone on to plum public sector jobs elsewhere
    No one is likely to be sacked or disciplined
    One of only five men ever convicted is already out of prison and walking the streets of Rotherham
    Police are investigating another 51 sexual abuse allegations in the town.

Simon Danczuk, the Rochdale MP responsible for exposing the paedophile past of Liberal politician Cyril Smith, told MailOnline: 'There are hundreds of child rapists out there. What are South Yorkshire Police doing to catch these people?'

The independent report into the scandal by Professor Alexis Jay detailed abject failures by a range of agencies and senior executives between 1997 and 2013. Astonishingly many of the individuals involved remain in highly-paid public sector jobs.

Social services director Joyce Thacker suggested parents should share the blame for not looking after their children when a gang of Asian men was jailed for sexually abusing girls in the town four years ago. She remains in her £115,000-a-year job.

Yesterday she was unapologetic: 'Protecting young people from harm is not the responsibility of any single agency and as a community we need to continue to work together to tackle this horrific crime.'

The report revealed how senior figures in the police and council wanted the 'ethnic dimension' to the abuse problem downplayed and were 'in denial' about the race element to the offending.

Culture Secretary Sajid Javid, who is the most senior Asian Tory MP, tweeted: 'It's definitely not racist to ask why a majority of Rotherham abusers were Asian men.

'How else will we learn from these awful crimes?'

And the town's disgraced former Labour MP Denis MacShane blamed the failures on a 'culture of not wanting to rock the multi-cultural unity boat'.

Suurin osa hyväksikäyttäjistä oli aasialaistaustaisia miehiä, kun taas uhrit olivat lähinnä valkoisia tyttöjä.

Viranomaisten uskotaan olleen haluttomia tarttumaan laajaan ongelmaan osaksi siksi, että he pelkäsivät joutuvansa leimatuiksi rasisteiksi. Poliisit ja sosiaaliviranomaiset eivät uskaltaneet kyseenalaistaa lähinnä pakistanilaistaustaisten miesten toimintaa.

Samalla uhrit jäivät ilman apua lukuisista avunpyynnöistä ja ongelman saamasta julkisuudesta huolimatta.

Keskiviikkona julkistetun raportin mukaan laaja ja raaka seksuaalinen hyväksikäyttö jatkui 1997–2013. Nuorin joukkoraiskattu tyttö oli vain 11-vuotias.

Tyttöjä myös pahoinpideltiin ja kuljetettiin muihin kaupunkeihin miesten tuttavien hyväksikäytettäviksi. Uhreista tuli käyttötavaraa, jota jaettiin hyväksikäyttäjien kaveripiirissä.

Raakaa hyväksikäyttöä edelsi jopa viikkokausia kestänyt "grooming" eli valmisteluvaihe, jonka aikana miehet pyrkivä luomaan tyttöihin luottamukselliset välit. Monet tytöistä kuvittelivatkin aluksi olevansa miesten kavereita tai jopa tyttöystäviä. Tytöille tarjoiltiin myös alkoholia ja huumeita.

Piti sulatella tätä uutista muutaman päivän ajan. Miten ihmeessä ihmisten silmät saisi ymmärtämään hyssyttelyn ja antirasismin vaarat.

Sitten ryhdyin pohtimaan vanhojen TV-sketsien pohjalta asenteitamme. Ajatellaan esimerkiksi Speden vanhaa "Rautakauppa"-sketsiä toteutettuna niin, että näyttelijät olisivat somaleita. Muuttuisiko tarina erilaiseksi, vaikka mikään muu ei muuttuisi. Ei tietenkään pitäisi, mutta pelkään että monen mielestä muuttuisi.

Entä miltä tässä ketjussa käsiteltävänä ollut rikos tuntuu tätä mielikuvaharjoitusta vastaan? Pelottavalta?

Rotherham on tosiaan vain yksi paikka monista, missä nämä jengit toimivat. Löysin mielenkiintoisen ja vastenmielisen artikkelin vuodelta 2007, joka käsittelee tätä aihetta. Julie Bindel: Mother of Prevention. Muutamia otteita, alkaen poliisin päättäväisistä toimenpiteistä:

'Maureen's daughter Jo was one of Hussain and Naveed's victims, having been groomed by them and a number of other Asian men when she was 14. Jo went missing from her Blackburn home 90 times during the six-month period in 2005 that she was in Hussain and Naveed's clutches.

"I was told by one police officer that he did not 'want to start a race riot' by arresting Pakistani men for sexual offences," Maureen said. During the six months that Jo was in the clutches of these men, they raped, beat and abused her to the point where, says her mother, she did not even know who she was any more. Eventually, after she was attacked by Hussain and Naveed with an iron bar, Jo somehow found the courage to report them to police, and they were arrested. The case took 16 months to come to court. In the meantime, other pimps, undeterred by the impending trial, continued to go about their business.

So what are the police doing? Lancashire police say that in the past few months they have sent letters to 70 men who were believed to be spending an unusual amount of time with young girls. The letters warn the men that the girls are underage; the men are required to sign the letter, confirming they have received and read it.'

Kun vähemmistö ei saa rispektiä, sitä otetaan vaikka väkisin:

'As well as simple opportunism, pimping of white females by black and ethnic-minority men can be a type of revenge against whites. "My parents ran a grocery shop," says Hussein, who admits to being part of the pimping gangs in the late 1990s. "They had hardly any money, even though they worked their backsides off. White people treated them like shit, like they were their servants." Hussein says he took "great pleasure" in having young white girls at his beck and call, knowing their parents would be out of their minds with worry. Although Hussein was reported to the police, he was never arrested for any crime, and is now working in Leeds.'

'In 2004, a controversial documentary on the topic of Asian pimps, Edge of the City, focused on the mothers of two girls being pimped by Pakistani gangs in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

But before it could be screened, a number of black and Asian groups, media such as the newspaper Eastern Eye, and websites including Blink (Black Information Link) organised an e-mail petition to pressurise Channel 4 into pulling the programme, arguing that its makers' sole purpose was to perpetuate racism against Asian communities. The channel received over 500 e-mails in protest. The BNP capitalised on the row by hinting that all Asian men were a sexual threat to white girls.'

Tytöt saavat sentään onneksi opetusta antirasismista ja rikkaammista kulttuureista:

'Jean was soon to find out just how indoctrinated her daughter had become when she discovered Sally's photographs and profile were posted on a website. She was posing with the flag of Pakistan. There were 97 names of Asian men posted on it who had made contact with her. She was asking for Asian men to "date". She said she hated white people. There were other girls' photographs on the site, one of whom Sally had recruited, as were other girls who were being pimped. Jean's boyfriend went online, pretending to be a girl. One of the men asked: "Are you better than Sally?"

The pimps are adept at trading on teenage rebellion and use similar methods, according to Crop, of convincing the girls all white people are racist. This is part of the controlling process, to instil guilt in the girls. "Like most teenagers, I was going through a phase of arguing with my mum," says Gemma. "Amir told me they didn't understand me and were racist and ignorant. I believed him." Gemma was given an Asian name by Amir, and told she had to read the Koran, a story support workers tell me is not uncommon. "They erode the girls' identities," says Kosaraju, "to make them more compliant and needy."'

Rotherhamin pitkäaikainen lasten sosiaalipalveluiden johtaja ei oikein onnistunut työssään (kts. ketjun otsikko).

Sen sijaan hän kyllä osasi siirtää etnisiä ottolapsia pois UKIP-äänestäjien kodeista, koska ajatteli, että näiden monikulttuuristen tarpeiden täyttyminen vaarantuu.

Mrs Thacker, who joined the Council as deputy head of children's services in 2006, is already a controversial figure following her decision two years ago to remove three ethnic minority children from their foster parents because of their affiliation to Ukip.

After The Telegraph drew attention to the foster parents' plight, Mrs Thacker refused to back down, saying the children's "cultural and ethnic needs" did not fit in with the parents' "strong views". She said their support for Ukip meant they opposed "multiculturalism".

Omasta mielestään Joyce Thacker onnistui erinomaisesti. Hän sai vuodessa 130 000 puntaa. Sitäpaitsi pitäähän kaikilla olla kaveri. Myös pakistanilaisella lasten sarjaraiskaajallakin. Älkääkä uskoko huhuja vaan ainoastaan viranomaisten oikeaa tietoa. En jaksa kääntää tekstiä.

"1,400 victims"..."eleven-year-old girl"..."raped"..."doused in petrol and threatened"..."turned a blind eye to"..."afraid to be called racist" – are the sound bites and tag lines that are bobbing around like bits of debris on this mainstream-and-social-media-generated tsunami.

Ihmisen väkivalta ja raakuus yllättävät. Valitettavasti näyttää siltä että lapsen pakottaminen seksuaaliseen tekoon uhkaamalla polttaa lapsi elävältä, on tämän seksuaalirikosjoukkion erityinen piirre. Yksityiskohdat sekä kaikki tapaukseen liittyvät tiedot ovat valitettavasti jääneet tietosuojan alle. Enkä ensimmäisenä uskoisi että maahan on tuotettu pokerinaamalla hädänalaisia, jotka ovat irtipäästessään käyttäneet polttoneisteitä ja elävältä palamista seksuaalitavoitteidensa saavuttamiseen. Valitettavasti tämän pakistanilaisen kulttuurin yksi erityispiirre on naisten polttaminen elävältä joko hapolla tai polttonesteillä.

Tämä lienee yksi Rotherhamin poliisilaitoksen syy sen tekemättämäjättämisiin. Jos ajattelemme keskiverto poliisikonstaapelia jonka luo tulee raiskattu ja pahalle haiseva häirikkölapsi. Sitten tämä lapsi kertoo että setä uhkasi valella bensiinillä ja sytyttää tuleen jos ei anna pillua. Lienee valitettavan selvä ajatus että ensiksi tervejärkinen ihminen kieltäytyy uskomasta että moista edes harjoitetaan. Paitsi että Pakistanilaisessa kansanperinteessä se sattuu olemaan yksi keino "ohjata naisia oikealle tielle".

Internetissä on aika paljon melko graafisia kuvia pakistanilaisista happohyökkäysten uhreista joiden ulkonäköä vastaan on hyökätty. Tämä teko on seurausta täydellisestä ihmisarvon ja kanssaihmisen kunnioituksen puutteesta. Syy toimintaan on pitkälti pakistanilaisen kulttuuriperinteen ja agressiivisen islamintulkinnan sekä rasismisyyttelyn avulla hiottu keino välttää ryhmän omien ongelmien ja vääristymien seurauksia.

Olennaista ei mielestäni ole kuitenkaan pakistanilaiset lasten sarjaraiskaarikolliset (ehkä myös Suomessa) vaan valtakunnanapulaissyyttäjät (aivan varmasti Suomessa) jotka ovat valinnoillaan ja syyttämispäätöksillään pyrkineet kaikin keinoin edistämään tämän kulttuurin asemaa. Jos tekoihin ja väkivaltaisuuksiin olisi puututtu tiukasti ja rehellisesti, maahan tulleet ja massa olevat pakistanilaiset olisivat voineet paremmin ja rehellisemmin integroitua osaksi yhteiskuntaa vapauksineen ja ennenkaikkea velvollisuuksineen. Nyt käsitys oikeasta ja väärästä on vääristynyt.

Samaan aikaan kun kaduilla on raiskattu ja vainottu lapsia, valtakunnan eliittipoliitikot virkamieskunnan kerman kanssa ovat nauttineet olostaan ja maksetusta yksityisestä turvallisuuspalvelusta. Näin siiviilitarkkailijana olen aina pitänyt lasten kimppuun käymistä poikkeuksillisen vastenmielisenä ja oksettavana rikoksena jota vastaan jokaisen kansalaisoikeuksista tietoisen ihmisen on käytävä oman maineen- ja kunnianmenetyksenkin uhalla. Bensiinillä valellun 11 vuotiaan tytön pakottaminen seksiin on jotain sellaista mihin edes television väkivaltaviihdekirjoittajat eivät olisi sortuneet.

Tästä eräänlaisesta seksuaaliväkivallan pohjanoteerauksesta huolimatta, on tärkeä säilyttää oma ihmisyys ja välttää halu muuttua hirviöksi sellaisen nähtyään. Tietoverkon avulla tullut myös raskasta ja vaikeasti sulavaa tietoa monikulttuurisen yhteiskunnan seurauksista. Ainoa joka on johdonmukaisesti ja taktisesti kieltäytynyt tiedosta on Rotherhamin lastensuojelujohtaja Joyce Tachker. Sama asia kuin Suomessa jossa sosiaaliviranomaiset johdonmukaisesti kieltäytyivät kuuntelemasta muoviin tukahdutetun pikku-Erikan puolesta tehtyjä vetoomuksia ja ilmoituksia.

Pienten ihmisten hätähuudot kuuluvat kovin pienellä äänellä toisin kuin monikultuurisen roskamedian vahvistamat "rasisti" hätähuudot.

It was with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes that I read about the horrific cases of abuse and neglect revealed in the Rotherham report this week.

Much of the media coverage has focused on how men of mostly Asian descent preyed on vulnerable young white victims. The details of this abuse are awful. But what has largely been ignored is the report's finding that sexual abuse has been systemically under-reported among Asian girls due to deeply entrenched cultural taboos – obscuring the reality that there is a similarly rampant problem of minority girls being abused by members of their own community.

I have first-hand knowledge of this problem. I'm coming forward to publicly share my own story in the hope that I can encourage others to do the same and help tear down the wall of silence that perpetuates further abuse.

I grew up in a small community of a few hundred British-Pakistanis in Skipton, less than 60 miles from Rotherham. When I was 10 a neighbour started sexually abusing me. Paralysed by shame, I said nothing.

At 18 I was fortunate enough to receive an offer to study at Oxford University. I was enthralled with the exciting new world around me and tried desperately to fit in. I replaced my traditional shalwar kameez with jeans. I bared my shoulders and cut my hair. I socialised more than I studied and became president of the Oxford Union.

An internship at Goldman Sachs led to a job in private equity in London, and after a few years I moved to the US to get my MBA from Harvard Business School. But all the while, I knew the girls I had grown up with didn't have the same opportunities – and that my abuser was probably still preying on other children.

It was only after a decade away from Skipton that I was finally able to garner the courage to return and testify against my abuser. When I first told my mother about the abuse I'd suffered, she was absolutely devastated. The root of her anger was clear: I was heaping unbound shame on to my family by trying to bring the perpetrator to justice. In trying to stop him from exploiting more children, I was ensuring my parents and my siblings would be ostracised. She begged me not to go to the police station.

If I'd still been living in Skipton, surrounded by a community who would either blame me for the abuse or label me a liar, I'm not sure I could have rejected her demands.

Once the police began the investigation another victim came forward. Sohail described how he too had been abused almost 20 years before I was. Due to our combined testimony, the perpetrator was jailed for eight years.

Within a few weeks another young woman in the community, emboldened by the conviction, told the police that a relative had raped her for several years. It had started before Sara was in her teens. We have supported her through the process of taking this to court.

Although Sohail and I had removed a proven paedophile from the community and helped empower another woman to end her torture, we were not celebrated. On the contrary, we were shunned.

The Rotherham report cites a home affairs select committee finding that cases of Asian men grooming Asian girls did not come to light in Rotherham because victims "are often alienated and ostracised by their own families and by the whole community, if they go public with allegations of abuse".

This was our experience exactly – and the experience of everyone I've since spoken to. In each situation, victims and their families faced tremendous pressure to drop their cases.

During our investigation it became clear that for three decades many other women had suffered at the hands of our abuser, but they had refused to testify against him because of the indelible stigma it would bring. I learned that the parents of at least one of the victims had known their child had been abused but had done nothing. We also discovered that the larger community had long been aware of rumours of abuse by my neighbour but had chosen to ignore them – even when Sohail had attempted to come forward several years earlier.

This refusal to condemn perpetrators persists even after their conviction. Soon after our case, another convicted sex offender was released back into our community and was accepted as if nothing had happened. It was clear that the same would happen with our abuser.

Much has been made about the religious background of the offenders in the Rotherham report. But this problem isn't about religion race: it's about a culture where notions of shame result in the blaming of victims rather than perpetrators.

Although painful to read, the Rotherham report presents an opportunity. It's an opportunity for leaders in the British-Pakistani community to stand up and speak out about the sexual and physical abuse in their midst. The Asian community isn't unique in having evil-doers, and the overwhelming majority of its men and women are good people who care about protecting others.

I am and always will be proud of my Pakistani heritage, but I firmly believe community leaders must take responsibility for the fact that the taboos that prevent others from identifying perpetrators and supporting victims enable further abuse. And those taboos must be challenged.

The report also presents an opportunity to overhaul the public institutions that have failed in their responsibility to protect the defenceless – which includes everyone from the police to schools to social services.

On multiple occasions, beginning when she was 12, Sara went to her local GP and to walk-in clinics wearing her hijab to get the morning-after pill. She was never asked if she needed help. When she approached the police to share her story the CPS initially told her it would not pursue the case because there was too little evidence. It's a testament to her resolve that she pushed back, demanding a chance to seek justice.

The system failed her, just as it has thousands of other children of all backgrounds.

We now have the chance to change that, and there are four immediate steps we should take to address this problem.

First, we need better training of social workers and police to effectively identify victims. The Rotherham report cited that one of the reasons for the widespread under-reporting of abuse among minority communities was the authorities' focus on communicating with male leaders, who ignored the problem. Women and girls need to be included in these conversations, and government officials need to broaden the scope of their inquiries.

Second, we need mandatory reporting by people of authority when they signs of potential sexual abuse. One of the most damning parts of the Rotherham report was that schoolteachers were discouraged from reporting potential cases. For Sara, mandatory reporting by doctors serving young children could have saved her years of abuse.

Third, we need improved support for victims when they come forward. Sara's case has been drawn out for far longer than expected, during which time she has faced pressure to withdraw her testimony. She has been passed from one counsellor to another, and struggled to get the help she needs to overcome her trauma. We need a judicial process that recognises the cost of delayed prosecutions for victims and better counselling services.

Fourth, we need a single person in each community who is accountable for ensuring these and other relevant policies are implemented. There are a lot of people with partial responsibility for this problem, but for this to be an effective, coordinated, comprehensive response, we need one individual who takes full responsibility for ensuring child sex exploitation is addressed and who can be held accountable for real change.

Some of these policies are already being implemented. But they are not being implemented everywhere, and they are not being implemented quickly enough.

The biggest risk of this terrible situation is that once the shock of this report dissipates, it will get swept under the rug, just like three previous reports in Rotherham. We cannot let that happen. We don't need any further reports: we need system-wide change in the way we approach fighting sexual abuse against children of all backgrounds. This is not a problem in Rotherham or a problem in Oxford or a problem in Rochdale. This is a problem in the United Kingdom. And we need to tackle it together.

In the words of Edmund Burke, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good [people] to do nothing." Let's not be those people.

Scores more children as young as 13 ­miscarried or were forced to have abortions after attacks by Asian gangs on 1,400 girls.

One victim, who got ­pregnant TWICE to the same attacker, said: "I was groomed and abused, but the police took no action."

The vulnerable youngster had an abortion at just 14 when her abuser threatened to have her killed if she gave birth to his baby.

Then he made her pregnant again just six months later – and allowed her to keep her child, but only if she became a Muslim.....

Meidän tulee kuitenkin muistaa että nämä maahanmuuttajajengithän eivät ole, näinä kaikkina vuosina, juurikaan joutuneet viranomaisten syyniin tekosistaan, eivätkä näin myös syytteeseen.
Näin ollen rikostilastot ovat täysin vääristyneitä, sillä maahanmuuttajaseksirikollisethan eivät ole joutuneet vastuuseen rikoksestaan/rikoksistaan. Näin heitä ei näy rikostilastoissa, hirmutekosistaan viis.

Kun viranomaisten rasismin pelko on niin valtava ja multtikultuurinen aate heille niin pyhä ettei selviin rikoksiin puututa,
silloin on kyllä yhteikunta vakavasti sairas.

Juuri tämän takia näin paljon tyttöjä Britanniassa ovat joutuneet hyväksikäytetyksi ja kidutetuksi.
Juuri tämän takia nyt kuohuu.
Juuri tämän takia tähän vaaditaan muutos.

Laki kuuluu olla kaikille sama. Laki kuuluu suojata kaikkia.
Myös nuoret haavoittuvat tytöt ja näiden perheet.

Aamulla lähettämäni juttu samasta oli kai liian hapokas modeille, koska poistettu?
Käsittelin siinä tätä aihetta maahanmuuttajat vs. muslimit valossa.
Kun tiedetään tekijöiden olleen muslimeita ja uhrien "vääräuskoisia", niin miksi syyllistää kaikki maahanmuuttajat muslimien tekosista?
Jonkun täytyisi pikkuhiljaa alkaa tajuamaan se tosiseikka, ettei maahanmuuttajien etnisyys ole niinkään ongelma, vaan islamilainen ideologia.
