Tässä hyvä artikkeli Toronto Sunin kolumnisti Michael Corenilta:

QuoteA couple of years ago I received an accusatory e-mail from someone named Ibrahim Hooper, one of the main media faces of the Washington, D.C.-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). He's a white convert to Islam and looks more like an angry mall cop than a devout Muslim.

His letter was brief and typical and I ignored it. Hard to ignore Hooper though, as he is ubiquitous on American TV.

And there I was on Wednesday night, lying in bed in my Sacramento hotel room drinking wine, eating a ham sandwich, having earlier been to the city's delightful Catholic cathedral, watching Fox News as Hooper shouted at the highly intelligent Megyn Kelly when she questioned his attacks on the heroic Ayaan Hirsi Ali.

The reason? Ali, a victim of genital mutilation, a first-hand witness in Somalia and the Islamic diaspora of Muslim misogyny and the author of several books exposing the reality of Islamic attitudes, had been subjected to yet another example of liberal cowardice and hypocrisy.

Brandeis University, founded in part to counter Jewish quotas, anti-Semitism and racism, initially decided to give Ali an honorary degree for her work on behalf of Muslim women, but then withdrew the offer after pressure, largely from CAIR.
