Four jailed for raping girl, 16, in Ramsgate

Three men and a boy raped a girl who had asked them for directions when she got lost on a night out with friends.

The girl, 16, who cannot be named, was trying to get to a friend's house in Ramsgate, Kent, when she was attacked and then dumped on the street.

They fulfilled their "depraved sexual desires" on the 16-year-old girl, Canterbury Crown Court heard.

Three of the men were each jailed for 14 years each and a 17-year-old boy was jailed for seven years.

The girl was found crying in the street by two people returning from a night out.

Rafiullah Hamidy, 24, of High Street, Herne Bay, Shershah Muslimyar, 21, of Hovenden Close, Canterbury, Tamin Rahmani, 38, of Northwood Road, Ramsgate, and the 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, all denied rape but were found guilty by a jury in May.

'Prolonged and degrading'

Sentencing, Judge Heather Norton said the girl had been trying to make her way on foot back to a friend's house having missed the last train home, and was "young, drunk, disorientated and vulnerable".

She said the girl thought the four were going to help her, but instead they "took her up to a bedroom, pushed her on to a mattress and repeatedly raped her" over a sustained period.

Judge Norton said the girl had been clear that while she was being raped, others were in the room watching.

Describing it as a prolonged attack in degrading circumstances, she told the defendants: "This was an appalling and repeated gang rape of a vulnerable girl who had sought your assistance."

They attacked the girl at Rahmani's home in the early hours of 18 September 2016.

He owns 555 Pizza and Kebab in Northwood Road, Ramsgate, and is in the UK under a spousal visa.

Hamidy fled to Taranto in southern Italy after the attack where he was detained by local officers.

He was returned to the UK following an extradition hearing and taken into custody at Heathrow Airport on 28 March.

After the hearing, Det Insp Richard Vickery said the men "saw an opportunity to fulfil their depraved sexual desires and betrayed the trust she placed in them in the worst possible way".

Iraqi on Trial for Child Rape, Assault, 'Used Shop to Seduce Young Girls'

An Iraqi Kurdish shopkeeper is on trial in Derby on multiple sexual assault charges including child rape, with one alleged victim being just 12 years old.

The trial of Dilan Amin, 27, began 29 August where the court heard charges of 14 sex offences including two rape charges, two charges of rape of a child, four of sexual assault, four of inciting a child for prostitution, and one of supplying cocaine.

The offences are alleged to have been committed against seven females between 2012 and 2017 including the rape of a girl who was 12 years old at the time, reports the Derby Telegraph.

Amin came to the United Kingdom 10 years ago and runs a shop called the Famous Shop in Pear Tree Road in Normanton.

Prosecutor Ian West said: "The defendant used this shop to seduce young girls and take advantage of them."

Over the course of the last two weeks, Mr. West presented the prosecution's case, outlining statements and details of the multiple alleged victims.

– 12-Year-Old 'raped in Amin's home behind the shop' –

A girl who was 12 years old at the time she met Amin, before Christmas 2012, alleged he raped her at his flat behind the shop.

The court heard how "Amin would always be nice to her... Telling her she could have things from the shop for free. He told her if she was his girl, she would have anything she wanted."

In a police interview shown in court, the alleged victim, now 17 years old, said one day Amin told her they were going to have sex.

The girl said he then sat on her and she "could not escape". She added: "He grabbed me to the side... He was right on top of me."

The girl said after the alleged rape she thought she was pregnant and "was in shock". She told police that afterwards, Amin would call her.

"I hate him. He ruined my young teenage life."

– 15-year-old 'taken to a hotel, plied with cocaine, raped' –

Mr. West said Amin and another man took the-then 15-year-old girl, and another girl, to the International Hotel in Burton Road.

The barrister said the girl was "encouraged and pestered" to take cocaine, after which the "cocktail of drugs" caused her to blank out.

Mr. West said: "She can recall lying on the bed and Amin then coming over and lying on top of her. Amin then had sex with her. The prosecution case is that [the alleged victim] was in such an intoxicated state that she did not know what she was doing."

The 16-year-old said that she saw Amin on other occasions and he would tell her to come to the back of the shop.  She said she knew she "had to give something in return for drugs".

Eventually, the girl told her teacher, who reported the incident to the police.

The unnamed teacher described the girl as someone who "desperately needed to be loved or liked".

"She's always been a hard working student," she said. "She tries to make friends but it does not always work out well. I've tried to build on her esteem."

The teacher said the girl then "started getting knocking on her door late at night". She said she told her pupil: "Do not answer that door. Do not go out of that door. Under no circumstances do you go out of that house."

– 14-year-old 'threatened with a screwdriver' –

West also told the court that Amin threatened a 14-year-old girl with a screwdriver after she rejected him and called him a "paedophile".

The girl said Amin tried to seduce her with promises of gifts, saying he told her if she 'went out' with him she would be "treated [like] a queen, you'd get anything, you'll get new phones, you'll get new clothes".

The Iraqi denies all charges. The trial is expected to last several weeks.

In May, Breitbart London reported that four men of Afghani origin, including an asylum seeker, were found guilty of raping a girl above a takeaway they worked at in Ramsgate after she had become lost and entered 555 Pizza asking for help.

Sunday worshippers stabbed in horror attack after knifeman storms Birmingham church during service 'before being tackled by ushers'

Three Sunday worshippers have been stabbed in a horror knife attack during a church service in Birmingham.

Around 150 people were packed inside the New Jerusalem Apostolic Church in Aston at 10.50am today when a man allegedly brandished a "large kitchen knife" at the door.

Three men were injured and taken to hospital but their conditions are not thought to be life threatening, the Birmingham Mail reported.

A 33-year-old man is among those wounded and is in a stable condition.

Minister Kevin Hutchinson said the knifeman was restrained by ushers before police and paramedics arrived.

He said: "A man with a knife stormed inside our sanctuary.

"Our normal Sunday service was going on and while that was going on he came.

"He was challenged at the door by our ushers. At that point he was restrained by them.

"He drew out a large kitchen knife and was restrained by a number of members, about three.

"Three members were injured and were taken to hospital.

"The men in the church were able to restrain him until the police and paramedics came."

A 46-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "Early indications suggest that the offender and victim knew each other and that this was a targeted attack.

"We understand the attack took place inside the church."

A statement on the church's Facebook page confirmed three worshippers had been knifed.

It read: "Three members of our congregation were injured following a knife attack all of whom have been taken to hospital.

"The following individuals were injured - Elder Karl George, Adam Brooks and Jorge George. No injuries were life threatening.

"At this time we are restricting hospital visits to family only and we will keep you updated as regularly as possible.

"We would like to thank all of our members and friends that were with us this morning for your cooperation, bravery and support and thank everyone else for your prayers."

The church follows the Pentecostal movement which has a strong base in Nigerian communities.

The Birmingham-based branch was set up in 2002 and is run by Bishop Melvin Brooks and his wife Pastor Yvonne Brooks.

West Midlandin poliisi tiedottaa:

Man arrested on suspicion of attempt murder after man stabbed in Aston

Police were called at 10.50am this morning to a church in Rocky Lane, Aston following reports that a man had been stabbed.

Officers attended and a 46-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

A 33-year-old man was taken to hospital with a neck injury and remains in a stable condition. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Two people who helped restrain the offender were taken to hospital with minor hand injuries.

Early indications suggest that the offender and victim knew each other and that this was a targeted attack.

This is not believed to be a terrorism related incident.

Four shot dead including mother and two children at French railway station

A SHOOTING at Noyon train station has seen a mother and two young children among four killed.

The family were gunned down on a platform at Noyon station in Oise, northern France, at around 11.30am local time on Sunday.

Police say the shooter was an angry husband who shot his wife and two of their children following an argument.

Officers told Le Parisien newspaper they had already been called to the family home earlier that morning after a blazing row broke out.

Following the incident, the mother-of-five, helped by a neighbour, decided to leave the family home by train with three of her children.

But, as she waited for the last of her two children to join them, the husband opened fire, police said.

The gunman then committed suicide.

Two mass brawls leave eight injured in Berlin's busy Alexanderplatz

Alexanderplatz is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the German capital. But it is also regularly the scene of violent crime, as two mass brawls over the weekend once again proved.
Police arrested 16 young men at Alexanderplatz in central Berlin over the weekend in connection with two mass brawls, involving knives and tear gas, that broke out over the weekend.

The first clash occurred late on Friday night and left six men injured. One 18-year-old had to undergo emergency surgery after being stabbed in the back. By Saturday he was in stable condition in hospital.

A 13-year-old who police say was accidentally caught up in the violence was also slightly injured and needed to be treated at the scene.

According to police, those involved in the brawl were Afghan and Syrian citizens. Police made eight arrests.

The second brawl took place on Saturday evening when an argument escalated between two groups of men for reasons which are not yet clear.

Two men were left injured after the fight, which involved men from Afghanistan, Pakistan and Syria. Police arrested eight men aged between 15 and 25.

Police are looking into whether there is a possible connection between the two fights.

Alexanderplatz has now been the scene of three violent confrontations within a week. Last Tuesday a 21-year-old man from Afghanistan was stabbed when a group of around 20 men attacked him and his friends.

The Berlin square which is famed for being the location of the Fernsehturm, the capital's highest structure, has a deserved reputation as a focal point of petty criminality and violence. Police recorded 7,820 crimes there in 2016, with most of the crimes involving theft.

A new police station is being built at the square which will be manned 24 hours a day. It is scheduled to open in December.

Belgiassa on ryhdytty vaatimaan maan historian pitkäaikaisimman valtionpäämiehen, vuosina 1865-1909 hallinneen kuningas Leopold II:n patsaiden poistamista julkisilta paikoilta.

Leopold II:n patsaan valonheittimet on tuhottu jo kauan sitten eikä Brysselin kaupunki ole enää uusinut niitä koska uudetkin rikottaisiin pian.

Vaatimuksen taustalla on se, että Leopold II omisti henkilökohtaisesti Kongon vapaavaltion 23 vuoden ajan.

Tuona aikana maan silloisesta väestöstä väitetään jopa puolen menehtyneen orjuuteen, silpomisiin, raiskauksiin ja murhiin.

Eri lähteiden mukaan kuolleita oli enimmillään jopa kymmenen miljoonaa.

Belgialaisten on edelleenkin vaikea myöntää, että vain hieman toistasataa vuotta sitten heidän kuninkaansa oli yksi Euroopan historian verisimmistä hallitsijoista.

USA:n kiista herätti

Belgiassa Leopold II:n muistomerkkien poistamista on vaadittu usein ennenkin.

Nyt Yhdysvaltain etelävaltioissa meneillään oleva orjuuden kannattajien muistomerkkien siivoaminen on saanut myös belgialaiset aktivistit vaatimaan kärkevimmissä lausunnoissa massamurhaajaksi kutsutun Leopoldin poistamista katukuvasta.

Yksi asiaa ihmettelevistä on belgialainen poliitikko ja Wrouwenraad-naisneuvoston varapuheenjohtaja Tracy Bibo-Tansia, joka on etnisesti belgiankongolainen.

Hän kysyy Bruzz-lehden haastattelussa, miksi hänen pitää joka päivä työmatkallaan Brysselin keskustassa katsella sellaisen miehen patsasta, joka toimeenpani yhden maailmanhistorian pahimmista kansanmurhista hänen isovanhempiensa kotimaassa.

Belgiassa elää virallisten tilastojen noin 550 000 - 600 000 afrikkalaistaustaista maan kansalaista, joskin viranomaisten mukaan afrikkalaislähtöisten määrä on nykyään suurempi johtuen paperittomien maahanmuutosta, joka ei näy tilastoissa.

Myös Lontoossa seisovan amiraali Nelsonin patsaan asema on kyseenalaistettu.

Vaikka Nelsonin meriittinä pidetään hänen johtamansa brittilaivaston voittoa ranskalais-espanjalaisesta laivastosta Trafalgarin meritaistelussa vuonna 1805, Nelson oli valkoisen ylivallan ja orjuuden äänekäs puolestapuhuja.

IL: Pakolaismies tunnusti Marian, 19, murhan Saksassa - raiskasi ja hukutti jokeen

Järkyttävää tapausta puidaan nyt oikeudessa Freiburgissa. Hussein K. -niminen afganistanilaismies on tunnustanut surmanneensa Marian lokakuussa 2016.

Oikeudessa on kuultu järkyttäviä yksityiskohtia surmatyöstä. Syyttäjän mukaan Hussein K. hyökkäsi polkupyörällä pyöräilleen Marian, 19, kimppuun lähellä Freiburgin jalkapallostadionia. Hän tukki Marian suun kädellään, puri naista muun muassa kasvoihin ja rintaan, raiskasi hänet väkivaltaisesti ja kuristi häntä huivilla.

Maria menetti tajuntansa kidutuksen aikana. Syyttäjän mukaan Hussein raahasi tiedottoman uhrinsa teon jälkeen Dreisam-jokeen ja pani hänet makaamaan veteen kasvot alaspäin. Nainen hukkui tajuttomana jokeen.

Tekijä väitti tulleensa Saksaan 16-vuotiaana vuonna 2015 ja olleensa tekohetkellä 17-vuotias. Viime tiistaina Hussein K. kuitenkin myönsi valehdelleensa ikänsä. Nyt hän sanoo olevansa 19-vuotias, mutta viranomaiset pitävät selvänä, että mies on ainakin 22-vuotias. Hussein K.:n henkilöllisyydestä ei ole varmuutta, sillä henkilöpaperit puuttuvat. Hän on kertonut olevansa afganistanilainen.

Koko Belgia shokissa: Pidetty pormestari löytyi kuolleena hautausmaalta – kurkku viilletty auki

Belgialainen pormestari löydettiin maanantai-iltana kuolleena hautausmaalta Mouscronista, kertoo uutistoimisto Reuters.

Mouscronin pormestarin Alfred Gadennen, 71, kurkku oli viilletty auki. Karmean löydön teki Le Soir -lehden mukaan hänen vaimonsa.

Gadennella oli iltaisin tapana sulkea Luingnen hautausmaan portit alueella, josta hän oli kotoisin. Hautausmaa sijaitsee vain kivenheiton päässä parin kotitalosta.

SudInfo kertoo nimettömiin lähteisiin vedoten, että epäilty olisi ilmoittautunut itse viranomaisille ja teon motiivi on epäselvä. Juttu on annettu paikallisen syyttäjän hoidettavaksi.

Tapaus on järkyttänyt koko maata. Le Soirin mukaan Gadenne oli suosittu poliitikko.

– Otin kauhulla vastaan tiedon Alfred Gadennen brutaalista kuolemasta. Kaikki ajatukseni ovat hänen perheessään ja ystävissään, Belgian pääministeri Charles Michel kirjoitti Twitterissä.

An imam preaching in a West Midlands mosque acted as a recruiter for Islamic State and told Muslims to "be ready to spill blood" and "establish the law of Allah over the necks of the people" including the Queen, a court has heard.

Kamran Sabir Hussain, 40, allegedly told up to 15 children and about 25 adults at the mosque in Tunstall, Stoke-on-Trent, that martyrdom was the "supreme success", greater than achievements at school or college, The Times reports.

He was caught after the mosque was infiltrated by an undercover police officer, who recorded 17 of the alleged hate preacher's sermons, starting in June last year.

A jury at the Old Baily heard that Mr. Hussain told one congregation: "Stand up and be ready to sacrifice, be ready to stand in the face of the elements of shaytan [Satan], be ready to spill blood and have your blood spilt."

"Much of the context of Mr. Hussain's sermons was unobjectionable," Sarah Whitehouse, QC, for the prosecution, said. "Some of the sermons, however... moved into support and encouragement to those carrying out acts of terrorism."

The under cover officer was know as 'Qassim' and maintained his cover. "Nobody knew he was a law enforcement officer and nobody knew he was recording the sermons," added Ms. Whitehouse.

The preacher also claimed in one of his sermons that right wing, anti-Muslim groups were controlled by the government. "The kuffar [derogatory term for unbelievers] will attack you and kill you," he added according to the Daily Mail.

In March last year, before his mosque was infiltrated, Mr. Hussain posted a "chilling message" in which he said that the "Khilafah" – a clear reference to the Islamic State – was "knocking on your door".

He made another clear reference to Islamic State terrorists on the 5th of August last year, when he is claimed to have told his congregation that the "mujahideen" [holy warriors] will "take over a land".

Adding: "They stand a black flag, and establish the law of Allah over the necks of the people, whether they like it or don't like it" and "nobody – not the Queen, not the Prime Minister – can say that you are not allowed to establish the law of Allah."

The preacher denies two charges of encouraging support for Islamic State and six of encouraging acts of terrorism. The trial continues.

Syrian refugee, 22, who groped six women in an underpass just a month after being granted asylum admits the sex attacks days after he was arrested trying to flee Britain while on bail

A Syrian refugee who launched a series of sex attacks just a month after he was granted asylum is facing jail.

Hasan Alkhabbaz, 22, targeted six different victims as they walked through the Joe Strummer Subway in Paddington, central London, between November 14 last year and March 3.

He lurked in the underpass where The Clash's frontman used to busk to grab women's bottoms and slip his hand up their skirts.

Alkhabbaz was handed a suspended sentence in May of this for a similar offence committed on March 5 while police continued to probe the earlier spree.

While on bail for the other attacks, he tried to flee the country but was arrested at Heathrow Airport where he was attempting to board a flight to Egypt and then onto Sudan.

He has since admitted the earlier six sexual offences and now faces jail.

Prosecutor Brett Weaver said: 'These offences all essentially follow the same modus - lone women approached by the defendant whilst using the underpass in the Marylebone Road area and touched by the defendant.

'Four out of the six were at a particular underpass, namely the Joe Strummer Underpass, which is at the intersection of Edgware Road, Harrow Road and Marylebone Road.

'There are two other offences which take place at different underpasses but in a similar geographical location.'

Alkhabbaz was originally bailed by Westminster Magistrates before an appearance at Southwark Crown Court to enter his pleas but was produced in custody after attempting to flee the country.

Mr Weaver said: 'He was sent by Westminster Magistrates Court on 15 August on conditional bail but as Your Honour can see he is in custody.

'The reason for that is that one of his bail conditions was not to apply for international travel documents.

'He was arrested at Heathrow Airport on Friday last week, 8 September, whilst he was attempting to board a flight to Egypt and thereafter to Sudan.

'In his possession, he had a Syrian passport which had been issued on 21 August, some six days after the first appearance.

'He was arrested and appeared before Uxbridge Magistrates Court on the Saturday when he was remanded in custody until today.'

Alkhabbaz pleaded guilty to six counts of sexual assault before his barrister, Kenneth Newman, asked for pre-sentence and psychiatric reports to be prepared.

Germany: Four Asylum Seekers Arrested After 56-Year-Old is Gang Raped

Four asylum seekers have been arrested by police in Dessau, Germany after being suspected of gang raping a 56-year-old woman on the grounds of a former vocational school last month.

The attack occurred last month on August 16th, according to the victim, who said she was assaulted by four men she described as having a dark skin colour. This week police arrested four men between the ages of 18 and 21, all from Eritrea, in the German regions of in Saxony-Anhalt, Baden-Wurttemberg and Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Mittledeutsche Zeitung reports.

Though police have confirmed that all the asylum seekers have been arrested and transferred to various correctional facilities, they have been tight lipped on the details of their identities.

According to reports, the 56-year-old woman was gathering bottles in the centre of the city around midnight. The four migrants approached her saying they knew where she could find a lot of bottles. They led her to the former school where they took turns brutally raping her to an extent she was hospitalised for several days afterwards.

Commenting on the case, local police officer Ralf Moritz said "The case had caused great unrest in the city," adding, "We are glad we now have four suspects."

Sources claim that two of the migrants live in Dessau, but it is unknown why the other two migrants came from, having had to travel several hours to get there.

The incident may also be related to the rape of an 89-year-old a day later. The elderly woman was assaulted in her apartment by three men who police also suspect of being from Eritrea.

Migrant sex attacks have become a national problem in Germany and have risen sharply since the height of the migrant crisis in 2015.

The most notorious case, the rape and murder of German student Maria Ladenburger, shocked the country. The alleged rapist, a migrant from Afghanistan, is currently on trial for the crime and has already admitted that he lied about being underage to get better treatment from German authorities.

Migrant gang rapes are much rarer but notable cases have occurred in Austria, and Sweden, where some have estimated that migrants are involved in nine out of ten gang rape incidents.

Intialaislehti: Riksakuski ahdisteli suomalaista - nainen taisteli vastaan ja pääsi pakoon

Muiden kyydissä olleiden lähdettyä riksakuski yritti käyttää suomalaisnaista hyväkseen, kertoo The Times of India.

The Times of India kertoo, että suomalainen nainen oli kulkenut riksan kyydissä, kun kuski pysähtyi syrjäiseen paikkaan ja yritti käyttää naista hyväkseen. Lehden mukaan kamppailulajeja osaava nainen laittoi vastaan ja pääsi irti kuskin otteesta.

Riksan kyydissä oli lehden mukaan ollut aiemmin muita matkustajia, ja kuski kävi kiinni naiseen muiden poistuttua kyydistä.

Välikohtaus tapahtui 8. syyskuuta Chennain kaupungissa Intiassa. Nainen kertoi lehden mukaan tapahtuneesta poliisille.

Tapauksen jälkeen paikallinen poliisi on etsinyt matkustajia, jotka olivat samassa kyydissä. Poliisi kertoo lehdelle, että naisen kertoman perusteella poliisi kuulustelee muutamaa kuljettajaa.

After a Finnish woman was molested by a share autorickshaw driver on September 8, police have prepared a list of people who drive share autorickshaws on the stretch from Kelambakkam to Mamallapuram.

With no solid clue about the suspect, police are also scanning the CCTV footages collected from nearby locations. "With the help of the identity given by the victim, we are questioning a few autorickshaw drivers," said a senior police officer.

The Finnish woman, who is a volunteer in an NGO, had come to India two months ago. She was alone in the autorickshaw after all other passengers got down, when the driver reportedly stopped the vehicle in a secluded place and tried to molest her.

Since the woman knew martial arts, she managed free herself from his clutches and escape. She lodged a complaint at Mamallapuram police station.

Gang of migrants who carried out strings of raids across UK jailed

A GANG of migrants who carried out a string of raids across England and Wales during a three-month crime spree have been jailed.

Julio Galdamez-Rodriguez, 20, Luis Rojas, 35, and Francisco Montecinos, 32, between them carried out 14 burglaries in London, Sussex, Oxfordshire, Cardiff, Monmouthshire and Gwent.

Cardiff Crown Court heard they stole items worth £60,000 during their spree and also took many sentimental and valuable pieces of jewellery.

They had all arrived in the UK from Chile just weeks before carrying out the raids.

The first burglary was committed on April 7 this year in London and the gang was finally apprehended after fleeing the scene of their last break-in on June 27 – having committed four that day alone.

At a previous hearing Galdamez-Rodriguez pleaded guilty to 10 burglaries, Rojas pleaded guilty to five, and Montecinos to six.

Jailing them, Judge Tom Crowther, QC said: "The provisions of the UK Border Act means you will be deported at the completion of your sentence but given the shortness of time you have been in the UK and this blitz of serious offending your removal is clearly in the public good."

Galdamez-Rodriguez was detained for nine years while Rojas and Montecinos were each jailed for six years.

Afghans rape 16-year-old girl on open street

In Oberbayern a 16-year-old girl has become a victim of rape. The incident happened on the way from a refugee camp to the S-Bahn station. The perpetrators were Afghans at the age of 27, 18 and 17 years.

On the open road, a 16-year-old has been the victim of rape by two men in the Upper Bavarian "Höhenkirchen" Siegertsbrunn (Munich district). As reported by the Munich police on Saturday, the young woman had been on the evening before with a larger group in front of a refugee shelter. Subsequently, she had gone with three male persons towards the local S-Bahn station. On the way there it had come to the action.

According to the investigations, two of the three attendants carried out "forcibly forced sexual intercourse". The men were a 27-year-old and a 17-year-old Afghan.

The rape by the third escort, an 18-year-old Afghan, failed because an accident happened. The trio then fled.

After a large-scale investigation of the police, which also used a helicopter, the men could still be arrested in the immediate vicinity of the crime scene. They should be presented to the detention center during the course of Saturday. The 16-year-old victim of the act suffered injuries that were treated on an outpatient basis.
