'Americanized' kids riled dad; matricide suspected

Nada Huranieh's death was initially seen as an accidental fall, but investigators soon determined the 35-year-old fitness trainer had been murdered — and that her 16-year-old son was the alleged culprit.

Authorities remain tight-lipped about their investigation into Huranieh's death, but court records shed some light on her family's sometimes troubled existence behind the walls of their mansion off a quiet dirt road in southern Oakland County.

Huranieh, 35, died Aug. 21 from injuries suffered in a fall from a second-floor window of the seven-bedroom home on Howard Road in Farmington Hills. Authorities said she was found on her patio by her 14-year-old daughter, who called police to report Huranieh was not breathing.

The death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy, and her son, Muhammad Altantawi, is charged as an adult with second-degree murder. He is being held in Oakland County Children's Village without bond.

During a pre-exam conference Friday, Judge Marla Parker of 47th District Court scheduled a preliminary hearing for Nov. 17, when she will decide whether Altantawi will be tried in his mother's death.

Huranieh and Bassel Altantawi, who wed in Syria in 1999 and had three children, were in the midst of a divorce; both were scheduled to give depositions the week she died.

Huranieh had filed for divorce in March 2016. According to court records, the teen's father, Bassel Altantawi, now 46, violated orders for supervised visitation and allegedly met several times with his son at a strip mall near the home more than a year ago.

The father also expressed concerns that his children were being "Americanized" by his wife in contrast to their Syrian and Islamic roots, court records indicate.

Jos nainen sitä miehen kiellosta huolimatta kuitenkin yrittää, niin tätä voi estellä

a)   asettumalla ulko-oven eteen ja uhkaamalla fyysisellä väkivallalla
b)   uhkaamalla täysin taloudellisesti riippuvaista vaimoa avioerolla.

Avioero olisi vaimon kannalta täysi katastrofi, koska tällä ei ole ulkomailla luultavasti minkänlaista tukiverkostoa ja maan kieltä taitamattomana takia ei voi edes ottaa yhteyttä viranomaisiin tai naisille tarkoitettuihin turvakoteihin, jos tällainen asia nyt ylipäänsä näillä on eristyneisyyden ja kielenosaamattomuuden takia edes tiedossa. Illegal Somali Migrant Begs to Be Deported After Allegedly Murdering a Man

An illegal Somalian migrant begged authorities to deport him "as soon as possible" after he was allegedly involved in a brutal murder committed in front of school children.

Mohamed Abdillahi, 25, is accused of being a member of a gang of men who attacked and murdered Augustus Fenton, 27, who was savagely stabbed and beaten to death with a baseball bat.

The killing happened in the view of students from Featherstone High School, in Southall, West London, as they were leaving school at the end of the day, the Daily Mail reports.

Mr. Abdillahi, who had been in the UK illegally for four years, handed himself into the Home Office a day after the alleged murder, saying he wanted to be deported "as soon as possible", jurors at the Old Bailey heard.

Prosecutor Oliver Glasgow QC said: "On 28 March of this year Augustus Fenton was attacked and stabbed to death by a group of young men in Southall.

"Augustus Fenton was chased and set upon in the middle of the road. He was punched and kicked by the young men, including this defendant."

Mr. Fenton phoned his brother in a state of panic, eager to find a way to safety.

Mr. Glasgow said: "Help was not to reach him in time, Augustus Fenton was spotted by the group of young men, three of whom ran down the road towards him, this defendant is one of those three.

"During the course of that attack, he was stabbed several times and struck with a baseball bat."

Mr. Fenton's brother arrived shortly after, at which point the group set about attacking him, it is alleged. He was stabbed in the palm and buttock but survived the assault, the court heard.

Mr. Glasgow continued: "This defendant contacted the immigration authorities and tried to arrange to be repatriated to Somalia, his country of birth.

"Having been identified, the police managed to arrest him about a week later.

"Despite having managed to identify three of the other attackers the police have been unable to locate them and their whereabouts even to this day remain unknown.

"Why was he so desperate to leave this country and return to Somalia? He was born in Somalia on 16 September 1992 and is in this country illegally."

Mr. Abdillahi has pleaded guilty to violent disorder but denies charges of murder and wounding with intent. The trial continues.

Police rushed to a London tube station tonight after six people were injured in a massive acid attack.

Officers have arrested a man after a gang sprayed acid into a crowd near Stratford Shopping Centre.

Dramatic video and images shared on social media appeared to show police attending to victims at nearby Stratford tube station.

As previewed last week in "Prosecutors Demand 2-Year Prison Sentence For Anthony Weiner", with Weiner having already agreed to serve prison time for sending explicit message to a teenage girl as described in painful detail in "Prosecutors Unveil Full Details Of Anthony Weiner's Pedophilia" today's sentencing was merely a formality.

And, as Reuters reports, moments ago, Weiner was sentenced to 21 months in prison for his latest, and hopefully final, breakout of pedophilia, which according to Hillary Clinton preiovusly may have cost her the election.

A Buzzfeed reporter was an eyewitness to sentencing and had the following observations:

The 52-year-old former Queens representative pled guilty in May to sending lewd messages to a 15-year-old girl between January and March last year, including sexually explicit images and directions to engage in sexual conduct. As we reported last week, as part of the plea agreement, prosecutors had sought a prison sentence of between 21 and 27 months, but Weiner's lawyers had argued he should have received a sentence of probation.

Brothers accused of molesting women, teen girls at dentist practice

Apeldoorn brothers Jamrad (32) and Jahid (31) P. are in court this week to defend themselves against accusations that they molested dozens of patients, including underage girls, in their dentist practices in Deventer and Halle. According to the victims, some of them only 13-years-old, the dentist and orthodontist casually touched their breasts and buttocks while they were in the patient chair, and then pretended it was an accident, De Gelderlander reports.

Jamrad P. is a dentist in Halle, and brother Jahid P. is an orthodontist in Deventer, though he often consulted at the Halle practice, according to the newspaper.

The two were arrested on January 17th, after two women, aged 33 and 36, reported to the police that dentist Jamrad P. touched them inappropriately at his practice. At that time, the police already had six other patients of the brothers who filed charges. They were held in custody and questioned for three days, before being released. After their release, two 13-year-old girls also reported that orthodontist Jahid P. molested them.

On July 7th of this year, both brothers appeared before a disciplinary committee, based on charges from the Healthcare Inspectorate. Jamrad P. was suspended for one year, 10 months of which conditional. Jahid P. was banned from working as an orthodontist ever again. Both appealed against this decision.

In court this week, they must also defend themselves against criminal charges. The brothers refused to comment to De Gelderlander, though their lawyers told the newspaper that they are innocent.

Soruth Ali -niminen muslimi yllätti 17-vuotiaan tyttärensä ja tämän poikaystävän seksiä harrastamassa ja pahoinpiteli molempia rajusti tämän vuoden elokuussa.

Tytär muutti salaiseen osoitteeseen ja pääsi poliisin suojelukseen. Ali sai nyt oikeudessa 14 kuukauden vankeusrangaistuksen.

Oikeudessa kuultiin myös, että mies oli tuomittu seitsemäksi vuodeksi vankeuteen 15-vuotiaan tytön raiskauksesta vuonna -95.

Daughter of strict Muslim father put into police protection after he caught her having sex with her boyfriend

The daughter of a strict Muslim man was put into police protection because he attacked her after walking in on her having sex with her boyfriend, a court heard.

Soruth Ali, 42, hit his daughter Fatima's boyfriend James Martin over the head with a hammer, before chasing him out of the home in Leigh, Greater Manchester.

He then punched and kicked his daughter before dragging her out of her bedroom by the hair.

Mr Martin suffered a gash to his head in the attack which required two staples whilst Fatima suffered bruising to her face and head.

The teenager was moved to a secret address where she was placed under police protection before being placed in care.

In a statement to police Fatima claimed her father was "very religious and very controlling" and would not let her out of the house unless she wore an Islamic veil.

She said she had been forced to live "two lives" at the family home as she was made to wear a headscarf in front of her father - only to secretly take it off once she was out of his sight. She said she wanted to "live her own life."

Despite the assault on August 21 this year, Ali was said by probation officers to have shown a "lack of remorse and empathy" for his daughter and Mr Martin and even attempted to "justify" his actions.

The court heard that Mr Martin had been hiding in his girlfriend's bedroom after Mr and Mrs Ali came back unexpectedly early from a trip away.

He was discovered after Mr Ali woke at 5am to noises coming from her room.

In her statement, which was detailed at an earlier hearing, Fatima claimed her father hit her on the left arm and knocked her to the floor. She said he then began to kick her to the head and legs and she curled up in a ball.

Peter Gilmore, prosecuting, said that following the attack "Fatima and Mr Martin both called the police, as did a neighbour, and Mr Ali was arrested. His daughter was a particularly vulnerable young woman, as she was his 17-year-old daughter living in his house. It is clear in his probation report that he was trying to minimise these offences."

At Bolton Crown Court, Ali admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault and was jailed for 14 months.

The court heard he had a previous rape conviction from 1995 for which he served seven years in jail after he attacked a 15-year old girl when she was in school uniform.

Brittisaarnaaja tuomittiin vankeuteen terrorismin edistämisestä

Tuomarin mukaan Isis-terroristijärjestöä tukenut mies levitti vihaa lasten keskuudessa.

Muslimisaarnaaja on tuomittu Britanniassa kuudeksi ja puoleksi vuodeksi vankeuteen terrorismin edistämisestä. Todistusaineistona oikeudessa käytettiin poliisin salaa tekemää nauhoitusta, jossa tuomittu kertoi lapsille, miten marttyyriksi ryhtyminen oli parempaa kuin koulunkäynti.

Syytetty puolustautui vetoamalla sananvapauteen. Tämä ei kuitenkaan vakuuttanut Lontoon Old Bailey -rikostuomioistuinta, joka katsoi miehen syyllistyneen Isis-terroristijärjestön tukemiseen ja terrorismiin kannustamiseen.

Tuomari Rebecca Poulet sanoi tuomitun saarnanneen vihaa. Pouletin mielestä miehen puheet edustivat vakavaa, jatkuvaa terrorismin puolestapuhumista.

Tuomittu saarnasi hyväntekeväisyysvaroilla toimivassa moskeijassa Stoke-on-Trentin kaupungissa, Keski-Englannissa.

Kolme miestä on saanut pitkät vankeustuomiot kahdesta jalokiviryöstöstä Ranskassa. Kaksi miehistä tuomittiin 15 vuoden ja yksi seitsemän vuoden vankeusrangaistukseen.

Thirty-three year old Dominique Vilaca, involved in both crimes, was handed a 15-year jail term.

The court heard that he fired seven shots as he attempted to evade police following the Cartier robbery.

His accomplice for the 2014 crime, Ismaila Fofana, 26, already condemned for violent crime, also received a 15-year sentence.

His cousin Youssouf Fofana, 25, was given seven years for the De Beers heist.
