2017-05-11 Breitbart: BBC Makes Drama About Muslim Rape Gang, Doesn't Mention Islam
QuoteThe BBC has made a drama about girls affected by Muslim rape gangs – with no mention of Islam in press releases or the trailer, the writer claiming "there was no religious basis for this".

Three Girls, which will be aired 16 May on BBC One, tells the story of three children from Rochdale targeted by a gang of Pakistani and Afghani origin Muslims between 2005 and 2008.

The case resulted in the 2012 conviction of the nine men for serious sexual offences, including rape and human trafficking, inflicted on girls as young as 13.

"The drama will look at the way in which these girls were groomed, how they were ignored by the authorities directly responsible for protecting them, and how they eventually made themselves heard," the BBC explained in a statement.

Speaking to The Guardian, the series writer Nicole Taylor, insisted: "There was no religious basis for this, but a wider discussion about why this was, and is, a distinct pattern would be welcome."

The trial for the first group is provisionally expected to last ten weeks.

Judge Recorder of Leeds Peter Collier bailed all of the defendants apart from two who are in custody for separate offences.

Daily Mailin uutisessa on kerrottu hieman katsojien reaktioista. Jaksossa näytettiin brutaaleja raiskauksia ja pahoinpitelyjä ja mm. niiden vuoksi jotkut sanoivat etteivät pystyneet katsomaan ohjelmaa loppuun.

Jotkut katsojista taas olivat sitä mieltä, että ohjelmaa pitäisi näyttää kouluissa, jota kannattaisin ehdottomasti mikäli asiasta olisin päättämässä. Jospa edes joku valkoinen tyttö sen myötä tajuaisi vältellä pakistanilaisjengejä.

Voisi olla kyllä ihan mielenkiintoinen katsottava tuosta islam-sensuroinnista huolimatta.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4513844/Viewers-turn-BBC-Rochdale-child-abuse-Three-Girls.html (17.5.2017)

QuoteIs this the most harrowing drama ever shown on the BBC? Horrified viewers are forced to switch off Rochdale child abuse series Three Girls - while others say it should be screened in SCHOOLS

- Three Girls is a three-part dramatisation of the Rochdale child abuse scandal
- The widespread grooming and assault came to light in 2012 after a social worker blew the whistle on a cover-up
- But viewers said the episode was hard to watch as girls were beaten and raped
- Some turned off, but others thought the drama should be shown in schools

A dramatisation of the Rochdale abuse scandal divided viewers on Tuesday night, as some switched off while others said it should be shown in schools.

Three Girls is a three-part BBC drama telling the true story of the widespread grooming and sexual assault of girls in Rochdale by a gang of Asian men, which was revealed in 2012.

Maxine Peake stars as Sara Rowbotham, a sexual health worker who blew the whistle on the scandal.

But the first episode divided the five million viewers who tuned in and saw brutal scenes of teenage girls being beaten and raped.

The drama's three young girls are a combination of stories from the girls who gave evidence that led to the conviction of the men, but false names have been used.

The show was created with consent and stories from three girls who are survivors of the abuse.

Kirsten Barger wrote on Twitter: 'Have had to stop watching - it's too disgraceful awful terrible and still happening somewhere #threegirls', while viewer Sarah said: '#threegirls absolutely grim, this should not be on tv, had to switch off.'

Dawn Ferguson tweeted: 'Really struggling to watch #threegirls. I just cannot comprehend how those young, vulnerable girls were continually failed.'

But for others, the tough viewing was vital - so vital that there was even suggestion it should be shown in schools.

Viewer Lynn Kelly wrote: '#threegirls a shocking story of abuse that's difficult to watch but needs to be seen. #maxinepeake excellent acting as always @BBCOne'.

Abbie Andrews wrote: '#ThreeGirls most uncomfortable, pit of stomach sickening TV I've watched in a long time. Amazing performances', and viewer Maria said: '#threegirls is one of the most difficult things I've ever watched. But the information needs to be out there.'

Nikhil Khargram tweeted: 'I've never found TV so hard to watch. Absolutely gut wrenching. #threegirls.'

Penny Sutherland was among those calling for the programme to be shown to young people, tweeting: '#threegirls this needs to be incorporated into the school curriculum to stop it happening to more young girls.'

Steve wrote: 'This programme should be shown in every school in the country #threegirls', while another viewer said: '#ThreeGirls powerful and hard watch.Needs to be shown in every high school and Wherever social work and safeguarding training occurs.'

Three Girls continues on BBC1 tonight and Thursday.

Vai olisko tämä vain yksittäistapaus yleiseen ketjuun:
QuoteFour men who "saw an opportunity to fulfil their depraved sexual desires" have been convicted of raping a 16-year-old girl.

The men attacked the girl after she asked them for directions to her friend's house following a night out in Ramsgate, Kent.

Instead of helping her, they took her to a flat and raped her.

The men, all from Kent, denied the charge but were found guilty at Canterbury Crown Court on Friday.

Rafiullah Hamidy, 24, of High Street, Herne Bay; Shershah Muslimyar, 20, of Hovenden Close, Canterbury; Tamin Rahmani, 37, of Northwood Road, Ramsgate; and Hamid Mohamadi, 18, formerly of Boughton Aluph, Ashford, raped the girl.

Anger as members of Rochdale grooming gang get legal aid to fight deportation... after already receiving £1m to unsuccessfully defend their criminal charges
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4737320/Rochdale-grooming-gang-legal-aid-fight-deportation.html

QuoteThere was outrage last night as it was revealed the paedophiles – who preyed on girls as young as 13 – are getting more taxpayers' money to battle moves to strip them of their British passports and send them back to Pakistan.

The case is particularly sickening because, despite the depraved nature of their crimes, the men are trying to exploit Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights – which safeguards the right to family life.

The four – who raped, abused and tormented young girls – claim booting them out of the country will harm their families.

Shabir Ahmed, 64 – the ringleader of the Rochdale child sex gang – Abdul Aziz, Adil Khan and Abdul Rauf all received hundreds of thousands of pounds in legal aid at their original trial.

By contrast, Chris Gard and Connie Yates were denied any legal aid in their case against Great Ormond Street Hospital to take sick 11-month-old son Charlie to the US for experimental therapy.

Chronicle Live / Sex exploitation scandal: How Newcastle women and girls were drugged and raped by grooming gangs

QuoteVulnerable girls and young women have been sexually exploited and prostituted in parts of Newcastle in a crimewave which has brought shame on our city.

Today we can reveal how the troubled girls were lured to parties, known as "sessions", where they were given drugs and alcohol in return for sex, while those involved cruelly took advantage of them for their own twisted ends.

Poliisin toimintatavat puhuttavat Britanniassa sillä:

QuoteOperation Shelter: Police paid £10,000 to child rapist

    9 August 2017...

... XY had a total of 53 convictions, and had previously been jailed for seven years for attacking a 15-year-old girl, whom he plied with drink and drugs and gang raped with two of his friends.

While working for Operation Sanctuary, he was arrested for dishonesty, an assault in a mosque, and was questioned about making sexual advances to a 13-year-old girl.

So what did XY's role as an informer involve?

During a special court hearing in October, brought by the defence in a bid to have the cases dropped, XY said:

"I was told, 'This is an operation about Asian grooming gangs. This is what we are after. These are the people we are interested in'.

"I had to find out what was going on... where the parties were taking place.

"These parties I went to, one or two, I got information about parties, when they were happening, and I would ring it in." ...

...

... 'Out of control'

With other trials about to take place, defence lawyers argued that XY's claims so discredited the police case it was fatally flawed, and these trials should be abandoned.

This led to an Abuse of Process hearing, held in October 2016.

The BBC successfully argued against a prosecution attempt to bar the media from the hearing, which was in front of the judge who had presided over the first trial, and who was due to preside over the next three.

Defence lawyer David Comb said: "This is a case where a rapist was put into the field, where he was with vulnerable young women when intoxicated... there were 30 occasions where it was disclosed by XY that he had been at parties.

"The police were happy for him to be going to parties, taking drugs, being out of control, because of the high value of information. That is an affront to the public conscience." ...

Chief Constable Steve Ashman, of Northumbria Police, also said strong punishments are needed to deal with the 'vile' individuals who target vulnerable people, and to act as a deterrent.

His statement followed a number of trials that heard how immature teenagers were plied with drugs and alcohol and then raped or persuaded into engaging in sexual activity with older men.

The officer suggested something must have gone wrong in society for such actions to be considered acceptable.

Britanniassa on Newcastlen tapausta verrattu Rochdalen ja Rotherhamin hyväksikäyttörinkeihin, joiden paljastumisen yhteydessä silloinen sisäministeri Theresa May syytti paikallisviranomaisia "institutionalisoituneesta poliittisesta korrektiudesta".

Quote11.08.2017

Nuorimmat uhrit olivat 14-vuotiaita.

Tuomittujen joukossa on myös yksi valkoinen nainen, joka järjesti ilmeisesti huumeita vastaan nuorempia tyttöjä hyväksikäyttöjengin saataville.

Poliisin neljä vuotta kestänyt tutkinta on paljastanut yli 700 hyväksikäytön uhria, joten Newcastlen tapaus on suurin Rochdalen ja Rotherhamin jälkeen. Rotherhamissa hyväksikäytön uhriksi joutui 1400 lasta.

Samanlaisia muslimien pyörittämiä hyväksikäyttörinkejä on ollut lukuisilla muillakin paikkakunnilla, kuten Bristolissa, Derbyssä, Oxfordissa, Huddersfieldissä, Peterborough'ssa, Telfordissa ja Keighleyssä. Hyväksikäyttäjien etninen tausta vaihtelee hieman. Esimerkiksi Bristolissa hyväksikäyttäjät olivat enimmäkseen somaleja normaalin pakistanilaisen sijasta.

Rasismileima estänyt hyväksikäyttöön puuttumisen

Ilmiö on saanut jatkua Britanniassa jo vuosikymmenien ajan.

QuoteNewcastle grooming gang that abused teenage girls jailed

Victims said the men were "monsters" who thought women "did not have the same rights as men" and got them addicted to drugs.

Two members of a Newcastle grooming gang who abused teenage girls have been jailed for 29 years and 12-and-a-half years respectively.

The gang gave drugs to the teenagers before prostituting them at parties known as "sessions".

In a statement read in Newcastle Crown Court one of the victims said the men were "monsters" who got her addicted to drugs and said she no longer trusted men.

Another said that she still had flashbacks to the parties six years ago where girls where given drugs and then persuaded or forced to have sex with different men.

A third victim said the men thought "they are superior to women, and girls do not have the same rights as men".

Heroin dealer Jahangir Zaman, 45, was convicted of raping a girl by forcing her to give him oral sex and sentenced to 29 years behind bars.

He was also found guilty of conspiracy to incite prostitution, drugs offences and, following a separate police investigation, conspiracy to supply heroin and cocaine.

Mohammed Azram, 35, was sentenced to 12-and-a-half years for causing sustained psychological damage to his victims, who thought he was a friend.

Prosecutors said Azram, who picked up his victims from a courtyard in the city's west end, played a "leading role" in the scheme.

One of his victims said he took her to a party where she saw another girl being treated like a slave.

Prosecutors said: "(The witness) described her as looking upset, she was dirty, the bedclothes were dirty, her clothes were ripped."

The court heard the men would drop things on the floor and make her pick them up.

Azram admitted one count of sexual assault, one count of inciting prostitution and a number of drugs offences.

A convicted child rapist was controversially employed by Northumbria Police to investigate the group.

The informant was called XY and was paid £10,000 for his information.

More members of the gang will be sentenced later this week.

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/09/06/gang-rape-white-girls-not-racist-judge/ (6.9.2017)

QuotePakistani Gang's Rape of White Girls Was Not Racist, Says Sentencing Judge

The rape and exploitation of white girls by a gang of 17 mostly Pakistani men was not racially motivated, a judge has claimed.

The decision means members of the Newcastle-based grooming gang, who have been described by victims as "monsters", were able to avoid the tougher sentences which accompany racially motivated crimes.

Despite the abuse being labeled "profoundly racist" by former director of public prosecutions Lord MacDonald, with MPs and campaigners having urged the crimes of "Asian" grooming gangs to be treated as "racially aggravated", Judge Penny Moreland claimed the men chose their victims "not because of their race, but because they were young, impressionable, naive and vulnerable".

Prosecutor John Elvidge acknowledged that the victims were "white, British and female" and the defendants were "of Asian extraction", but insisted: "There is no evidence the defendants expressed any racial malice to the complainants.

"The ethnicity of all potential targets is not known," he told Newcastle Crown Court, and added that at one party a victim "was black" while a woman who attended another was of "Asian" origin, but he said neither victim wished to give evidence.

During a previous case, the court heard how a man linked to the gang had referred to white women as "white trash", and said white women were "good for only one thing – for people like me to f*** and use as trash, that is all women like you are worth."

Noting that some of the Newcastle gang "freely admitted that their attitude to these girls was based on race," former Policing and Justice Minister Mike Penning argued in August that the sentences must reflect the racial element.

"I cannot understand, in a case where the police have done brilliantly well, why the sentence doesn't reflect the severity of the crime," he said.

One woman and 17 men were convicted of nearly 100 offences including rape and human trafficking from 2011 to 2014, operating in Newcastle where they groomed and abused young girls with alcohol and drugs before forcing them to have sex.

The gang subjected girls to "sustained and systematic psychological abuse", Judge Moreland told the court, while victims' impact statements described some of the effects that their abusers have had on their lives.

"I used to be such a happy girl," said one young woman, reporting that her child was taken from her as a result of anxiety, since her life was "totally affected" by "these monsters". "I no longer trust people," she said.

"I no longer trust people," she said.

"They made me feel like a piece of meat, and that makes me feel sick," another girl added.

The case in Newcastle bears strong similarities to scandals which have taken place in towns across the country involving predominantly Muslim men grooming and sexually abusing  predominantly white girls, such as those in Rochdale and Rotherham.

QuoteOperation Sanctuary: More jailed for roles in grooming ring

Four more men have been jailed for their part in a drugs and grooming ring that forced young women to have sex.

They were convicted as part of the Operation Sanctuary investigation into a grooming gang that sexually abused vulnerable girls in Newcastle.

Habibur Rahim, 34, was jailed for 29 years for rape, inciting prostitution and drugs offences.

Abdul Sabe, 40, was handed a 12-year term for sexual exploitation, inciting prostitution and drugs offences.

Night terrors

Newcastle Crown Court judge Penny Moreland also jailed Mohibur Rahman, 44, of Northcote Street, for four and a half years for inciting prostitution, drugs offences, sexual assault and sexual exploitation.

Badrul Hussain, 37, Drybeck Court, was sentenced to four years in prison for drugs offences.

The court had heard that Sabe, of Dean House, was already on the sex offenders register when he carried out the abuse.

The men were dealt with on the second day of sentencing of gang members.

Last month 17 men and one woman were found guilty after two years of trials, with eight men convicted of conspiracy to incite prostitution.

The court heard from a young female victim who still suffers from regular night terrors and now sleeps with a knife by her bedside.

She was raped by Rahim, of Kenilworth Road, who used a wardrobe to barricade her in the room with him.

The father-of-two, also known as Sham, had already plied her with alcohol and drugs.

'Losing my hair'

In a statement, read to the court, the victim, who was 17 at the time, said: "I have suffered severe depression and a split personality.

"I feel paranoid all the time and don't feel safe in my own flat, I have started losing my hair.

"I wake up in the night fearing Sham is in the flat. I keep wanting to take my own life to get away from it all. I now sleep with a knife by my bed."

Rahim was convicted of two counts of conspiracy to incite prostitution, relating to eight different victims, a number of trafficking for sexual exploitation offences and one count of rape.

Judge Moreland said he had been a high profile and active member of the group and had engaged in "sustained and systematic abuse".

She said he had caused extreme harm to his victims by cultivating their dependence on alcohol and drugs.

She also repeated her statement from a previous sentencing that there was no evidence for the offences being racially aggravated and the gang had picked out their victims because they were young and vulnerable.

Six of the gang have already been jailed and the sentencing of those remaining is expected to last until Friday.

During the investigation Northumbria Police paid a child rapist more than £10,000 to act as an informant.

2017-09-11 Daily Mail: Rotherham child sex grooming gang victim was denied compensation because officials said she 'consented' - even though she was 14 at the time
QuoteA survivor of child sexual exploitation in Rotherham has described her shock at being turned down for full compensation for what she suffered because authorities deemed she had consented to the abuse.
QuoteShe was just 14 when she fell under the spell of 24-year-old abuser Arshid Hussain and suffered years of appalling treatment.
QuoteHussain got away with his brutal crimes until 2013 when newspaper revelations about her ordeal led to a fresh police inquiry.

Along with his two brothers, he was successfully prosecuted. He was jailed for 35 years in February last year after being convicted of 23 offences of indecent assault and rape.
QuoteMiss Woodhouse, who now campaigns for abuse victims after waiving her right to anonymity, was told in a letter from CICA she would receive £11,000 for a single rape but nothing for the other sexual abuse.

Her claim for five years of 'intimidation, threats and harassment' was rejected outright due to 'insufficient evidence'. The letter reveals the apparent continuing refusal by officials to treat people such as Miss Woodhouse as genuine and deserving victims.

She told the BBC's Inside Out programme: 'We keep hearing a lot of 'we've learnt lessons'.

'If any adult can privately think that it's a child's fault for being abused, beaten, raped, abducted, I think you're in the wrong job.'
QuoteUnderage children cannot legally consent to sex, yet the letter from the CICA dismissed her compensation claim for sexual abuse.

She was told: 'I am not satisfied that your consent was falsely given as a result of being groomed by the offender.

'The evidence does not indicate that you were manipulated or progressively lured into a false relationship. The offender did not conceal any aspects of his life to you, and for this reason, I am satisfied you chose to enter the relationship willingly and knowing the true character of the offender.'

It concluded: 'It appears you exercised your autonomous choice to engage in sexual activity with the offender.'

QuoteRotherham: 12 More Men Charged with Child Sex Abuse Offences in Grooming Gang Investigation

A further 12 men have been charged in connection with the sexual abuse of eight young girls in Rotherham as part of a National Crime Agency (NCA) investigation into child abuse among predominantly Muslim grooming gangs.

Aged between 33 and 38, the men are accused of a total of 44 offences including rape and false imprisonment, and brings the number charged under Operation Stovewood  — the Agency's probe into historical child sex abuse in the Yorkshire town  — to 21.

The latest charges are related to eight girls under the age of 16, over a five year period from 1998 to 2008, according to the NCA.

Mohammed Ashan, 33, and Waseem Khaliq, 33, each of whom face indecent assault and rape charges, and 33-year-old Masaeud Malik, charged with one count of indecent assault, remain in custody according to the NCA's press release.

Nabeel Kurshid, 34, and Iqlak Yousaf, 33, each face two allegations of rape and one of indecent assault, whilst 38-year-old Amjal Rafiq has been charged with false imprisonment and indecent assault.

Mohammed Imran Ali Akhtar, 36, Tanweer Ali, 36, Aftab Hussain, 38, and Abid Saddiq, 36, each face a string of accusations including indecent assault and rape, according to the Daily Mail.

Salah Ahmed El-Hakam, 38, is charged with one count of rape, whilst 33-year-old Sharaz Hussain faces one count of indecent assault.

All 12 men are due to appear at Sheffield Crown Court on the 24th of October.

Senior investigating officer, Paul Williamson, said: "We have now charged 21 men with over 94 child sexual abuse offences and expect this number to increase as more victims come forward.

"Officers are investigating more than 80 suspects and with the support of partner agencies, are currently engaging with 235 victims.

"Our focus is to bring lasting and worthwhile benefits for victims, helping to build better futures.

"We will listen to their accounts and investigate allegations made to identify and bring offenders to justice.

"This focus has not wavered and we, along with our partners will persist in our efforts to make Rotherham a hostile environment for child sex offenders."

In 2014, the government's Jay report revealed that more than 1,400 children had been raped, trafficked, and sexually abused in Rotherham by gangs of mostly Muslim men.

The NCA set up Operation Stovewood after an independent inquiry conducted in 2014 found evidence that both South Yorkshire police and the local council had turned a blind eye to the abuse for fear of being accused of racism, and out of concern that taking action would damage "community relations".

Breitbart London reported last year how almost 200 police officers were under investigation by the police watchdog for conspiring to cover up the abuse.

QuoteAuthorities missed 14 opportunities to stop children being abused in rural Somerset despite two teenagers having abortions after being groomed by Turkish men at their barber shop

A number of agencies failed to recognise and prevent the exploitation of at least nine teenagers in Somerset, it has been revealed.
The serious case review comes after two Turkish men were jailed last year for a total of 32 years after being convicted for rape and sexual offences against six children aged 14 and 15.
Authorities missed 14 opportunities to prevent the abuse of two of the teenagers, who sparked the initial review - who believed they were in a loving relationship with the men, legitimising the sustained abuse.
Both girls fell repeatedly pregnant and had a number of forced abortions and miscarriages, as well as being subject to physical and emotional abuse during a four-year period in Yeovil.

--snip--
Julian Wooster, the Director of Children's Services for Somerset County Council apologised for the shocking failings.
There were 14 different chances to identify and stop the abuse - but all agencies missed them.
Mr Wooster says a number of people who failed the system no longer work for the council.

QuoteGang of illegal Kurdish migrants who lured girls to sex parties with free drugs and alcohol then demanded sexual favours are jailed for 33 years

A sex and drugs gang of four Kurdish illegal immigrants who groomed and abused five girls as young as 13 were jailed for 33 years today.

Young and 'naive' victims were lured to parties in Newcastle and gatherings at houses and flats, where alcohol and drugs were freely available, and they were expected to provide sexual favours and services in return.
The victims were 'forced' at other times or were so intoxicated they were unable to consent to what happened to them.
The five girls, aged between 13 and 16, were treated as 'commodities', passed around various men and sometimes believed they were in relationships with their abusers.

The men, who all entered the UK illegally before claiming asylum hid behind code names such as 'Star' 'Pablo' and 'Shark Tooth' while targeting the vulnerable girls.

The girls were as young as 13 when the grooming began and they were trafficked for sex in return for drugs including ecstasy, cocaine, speed and cannabis it is alleged.

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2017/12/10/84-grooming-gangs-asian-report/ (10.12.2017)

QuoteGrooming Gangs: 84 Per Cent Convicted 'Asian', White Girls Seen As 'Fair Game'

A report by counter-extremism think tank Quilliam has found that more than eight out of ten men convicted of grooming gang offences have an 'Asian' background.

When the study's authors — both of whom are of Pakistani heritage — set out on their research into grooming gangs, they expected to "debunk" the perception that Muslims of Asian heritage are overrepresented.

But instead their analysis revealed that 222 of 264 convictions related to 58 cases of grooming gangs identified in Britain between 2005 and 2017 — or 84 per cent — involved perpetrators of Asian origin, despite Asians making up just 7 per cent of the population.

The report found just 18 of the 264 offenders (7 per cent) were white, while 22 were black (8 per cent), and the ethnicities of a further two men were unknown.

What the report means by 'Asian' will not be clear until the report is officially published over the coming days, but Quilliam founder, LBC presenter and former Islamic extremist Maajid Nawaz gave some indication when he tweeted that "84% of collective child-grooming and rape cases in the UK involve gangs of British South-Asian Muslim men" in connection with it.

Author Muna Adil said: "We began thinking we would debunk the media narrative that Asians are overrepresented in this specific crime.

"But, when the final numbers came in we were alarmed and dismayed. For both of us being of Pakistani heritage, this issue is deeply personal and deeply disturbing."

"In attempts to protect the ''sentiments'' of the British Pakistani community, we have failed vulnerable young girls who have suffered years of irreversible damage," Adil and co-author of the report Haras Rafiq said in a statement, noting that "the victims that have come forward so far are almost exclusively white girls".

According to the study, which is based on the testimonies of grooming gang offenders during court hearings, Asian men deliberately preyed on white girls — who they deemed "easy targets" and "open to sex".

"Girls from the Asian community are seen as commodities to be 'protected', whereas girls from outside of the community are seen as fair game," says the report.

Adil added: "There are elements from within the British Pakistani community that still subscribe to outdated and sexist views of women embedded within their jaded interpretations of Islam. These backward views are passed down from generation to generation until the lines between faith and culture dissolve, making it increasingly difficult to criticise one without being seen as a critic of the other."

A GROUP of men are set to stand trial in Bradford next month in connection with the alleged sexual abuse of a woman over a two-year period.

Eight of the ten men facing charges appeared at Bradford Crown Court for a pre-trial review hearing yesterday to deny offences including rape and sexual assault, said to have taken place between July 2009 and July 2011.

One of the men, Basharat Khaliq, is also accused of abusing a second woman between the dates of May 2008 to September 2009.

Khaliq, 37, of Deanwood Crescent, Allerton, Bradford, appeared in the dock to plead not guilty to four charges of rape against the second woman, and one of assault by penetration against the first alleged victim.

The other seven defendants who were present at court also all entered not guilty pleas to charges relating to that same woman.

Saeed Akhtar, 54, of Back Girlington Road, Bradford, denies two charges of causing or inciting child prostitution and one charge of rape.

Naveed Akhtar, 42, of Newport Place, Manningham, Bradford, and Izar Hussain, 31, of St Leonard's Road, Bradford, both deny three charges of rape, with Hussain also denying an additional allegation of attempted rape.

Mohammed Usman, 30, of Quaker Street, Bradford, and Kieran Harris, 27, of Fir Parade, Ravensthorpe, Dewsbury, both pleaded not guilty to two charges of rape.

Yasar Majid, 36, of Laxfield Drive, Broughton, Milton Keynes, denies a single charge of rape, and Fahim Iqbal, 26, of no fixed abode, pleaded not guilty to aiding and abetting rape.

The court heard that Zeeshan Ali, 31, of Durham Terrace, Girlington, Bradford, who faces a single charge of sexual assault, was absent from court due to his attendance at a family funeral.

The final defendant, Parvaze Ahmed, 35, of Farcliffe Road, Heaton, Bradford, was also absent and unable to enter pleas to three charges of rape.

The court was told there was no authorised explanation for his absence, and Judge Jonathan Rose issued a warrant for his arrest for breaching the conditions of his bail.

Briteissä (ajatus)poliisi jahtaa Facebook-käyttäjiä, jotka kirjoittivat "loukkaavia" kommentteja muslimien raiskausjengeistä.

http://www.breitbart.com/london/2018/01/13/police-hunt-offensive-comments-grooming/ (13.1.2018)

QuotePolice Hunt Down Facebook Users Who Made 'Offensive' Comments About Muslim Grooming Gangs Online

Northumbria Police have warned that "offensive" comments on the Internet will not be tolerated, tracking down users who made "potentially criminal" posts on social media about grooming gangs.

The force launched an investigation into comments left on its Facebook page in response to articles about the Operation Shelter scandal, in which young white British girls in were groomed, sexually abused and trafficked by mostly Muslim men of South Asian descent in Newcastle.

Officers made a review of every comment on the page after a member of the public complained that a number of posts referred to the race and religion of the 18 people convicted following the operation.

ChronicleLive reports that police recorded two cases of racially aggravated public order offences among responses to the news articles on Facebook, and have now tracked down six people responsible for posts "deemed to be offensive and potentially criminal".

A spokesman from Northumbria Police said: "As a result of a complaint, we can confirm we looked into a number of comments posted on the force's Facebook page.

"Following an investigation, which has now concluded, we spoke to two males as voluntary attenders and visited a further four people in their homes, and provided them with words of advice.

"All expressed their remorse and stated that the intention of their comments was not to cause concern or to be offensive and have acknowledged the words of advice provided."

The spokesman added: "We would also like to take this opportunity to remind people using social media that they should do so responsibly and ensure they do not post anything which could be considered offensive."

Campaigners and MPs had demanded that the crimes of groomers who target white girls be treated as "racially aggravated", urging Britain's Attorney-General to review the Newcastle gang members' sentences after claims that the racist nature of the crimes was not reflected in their punishment.

But despite the abuse having been labeled "profoundly racist" by former director of public prosecutions Lord MacDonald, members of the grooming gang escaped the harsher sentences which accompany racially motivated crimes, with Judge Penny Moreland claiming victims were targeted "not because of their race, but because they were young, impressionable, naive and vulnerable".
