Tekijät katuvat sanomisiaan.  Kyse oli kuulemma vitsistä ja väärinkäsityksestä:

Abu Lebdeh's uncle has insisted his niece was 'sorry' for her anti-Semitic rant and was so worked up 'we might be calling an ambulance for her'.

'I'm trying to calm her down to see what the f*** happened,' he told The Australian from outside the young woman's house on Wednesday.

'She's been a nurse for God knows how long. She's never done anything to hurt anyone.'

Abu Lebdeh has reportedly been working with NSW Health since 2021. Both nurses were stood down over the incident on Wednesday.

Earlier on Wednesday, Mr Nadir, 27, broke his silence over the shocking incident and insisted the comments were 'a joke and a misunderstanding'.

He vowed to apologise to the 'Jewish community and anyone I've offended' as soon as he had spoken to police who are now investigating the pair.

'It was a joke, a misunderstanding... I will use social media, anything, to apologise but I need to go and see the detectives first,' he told the Daily Telegraph.

'I didn't mean to offend. It wasn't meant to be like this.'

Hoitajat ovat hyllytettyjä ja poliisi tutkii heidän toimintaansa.  Terveydenhuollosta vastaavat päättäjät vakuuttavat, etteivät he pääse enää harjoittamaan ammattiaan, mutta saa nähdä, miten käy.  Hoitajien vihapuhe oli törkeää ja kenties jopa rikollista, mutta se tuskin on laillinen peruste viedä sairaanhoitajan kelpoisuus loppuiäksi.  Potkiminen nykyvakanssiltakin voi olla pitkän oikeustaistelun takana, jos mitään suoraa hoitovirhettä ei voida osoittaa. 

Toki hoitajien nyt saavuttamansa kuuluisuus vaikeuttaa huomattavasti heidän työtään jatkossa, potilailla kun saattaa olla voimakkaita ennakkokäsityksiä tappouhkauksia levittäviä hoitajia kohtaan. Se voi olla oikeudellisesti kelvollinen peruste hylätä heidän työhakemuksiaan tulevaisuudessa. Niin makaat kuin petaat.

The Strike Force Pearl investigation is well underway.

This is a sad day for our country, it is unthinkable that we are confronted with, and forced to, investigate such an appalling incident.

The speed in which this incident was reported by NSW Health significantly assisted detectives in what is a very serious investigation.

Detectives have managed to interview staff and establish areas within Bankstown Hospital where detectives believe the video was allegedly filmed.

We have also seized CCTV footage which is currently under review. There will be further developments overnight.

It is crucial police are given time to conduct further interviews and navigate this high-level investigation.

An update will be given tomorrow following further investigations overnight.

Hoitajien vihapuhe oli törkeää ja kenties jopa rikollista, mutta se tuskin on laillinen peruste viedä sairaanhoitajan kelpoisuus loppuiäksi.  Potkiminen nykyvakanssiltakin voi olla pitkän oikeustaistelun takana, jos mitään suoraa hoitovirhettä ei voida osoittaa. 

Onneksi eivät sanoneet, että jos joku lesbo/bi tulee potilaaksi, niin voi vaikka laittaa strap-onin ja vetää heitä perseeseen. Se olisi ollut anteeksiantamatonta ja työpaikan menetys. Mutta että tappavat potilaitaan. Selvästi viatonta hassuttelua mitä pitää ymmärtää.
