QuoteCritical Race Theory begins with the belief that race is imposed upon "people of color" (by "white supremacy," thus whites), says this is bad to the point of requiring a revolution to unmake it, and then intentionally imposes white racial identity on whites, as a negative only.

When Robin DiAngelo says there's no such thing as a "positive white identity" after spending 150 pages explaining why whites need to be aware of their racial identity because that's what Critical Whiteness Studies, as a subdivision of Critical Race Theory, exists to do, it's this

Robin DiAngelo has an earlier, less famous book called "What Does It Mean to Be White?" It's not just her. This is the raison d'etat for Critical Whiteness Studies (part of Critical Race Theory). Barbara Applebaum explores it in Being White, Being Good (2010), before DiAngelo.

Kimberlé Crenshaw and other Black Feminists were writing about the "imposition" of racial categories as an exercise of power in the 1980s and 1990s. THEY KNOW IT'S WRONG; THEY KNOW IT'S RACISM. They do it willfully and maliciously anyway. Not to build up anything but to tear down

The "justification" for this malice in Critical Race Theory is that white people already racialized the system, and that can't be escaped without a total revolution, therefore leveling the playing field is only possible by imposing racism on whites. No uplift. Only tearing down.

"Equity" proceeds along this same destructive line (because it's the same thing, being the name given to the "solution" to this invented problem). It only tears down. It cannot build. It's this way because Critical Race Theory fundamentally believes the system is terrible.

QuoteOn Having Whiteness

Whiteness is a condition one first acquires and then one has—a malignant, parasitic-like condition to which "white" people have a particular susceptibility. The condition is foundational, generating characteristic ways of being in one's body, in one's mind, and in one's world. Parasitic Whiteness renders its hosts' appetites voracious, insatiable, and perverse. These deformed appetites particularly target nonwhite peoples. Once established, these appetites are nearly impossible to eliminate. Effective treatment consists of a combination of psychic and social-historical interventions. Such interventions can reasonably aim only to reshape Whiteness's infiltrated appetites—to reduce their intensity, redistribute their aims, and occasionally turn those aims toward the work of reparation. When remembered and represented, the ravages wreaked by the chronic condition can function either as warning ("never again") or as temptation ("great again"). Memorialization alone, therefore, is no guarantee against regression. There is not yet a permanent cure.

Quote'The Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind'
A psychiatrist lecturing at Yale's Child Study Center spoke about 'unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way.'

A few weeks ago, someone sent me a recording of a talk called "The Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind." It was delivered at the Yale School of Medicine's Child Study Center by a New York-based psychiatrist as part of Grand Rounds, an ongoing program in which clinicians and others in the field lecture students and faculty.

When I listened to the talk I considered the fact that it might be some sort of elaborate prank. But looking at the doctor's social media, it seems completely genuine.

Here are some of the quotes from the lecture:

- This is the cost of talking to white people at all. The cost of your own life, as they suck you dry. There are no good apples out there. White people make my blood boil. (Time stamp: 6:45)

- I had fantasies of unloading a revolver into the head of any white person that got in my way, burying their body, and wiping my bloody hands as I walked away relatively guiltless with a bounce in my step. Like I did the world a fucking favor. (Time stamp: 7:17)

- White people are out of their minds and they have been for a long time.  (Time stamp: 17:06)

- We are now in a psychological predicament, because white people feel that we are bullying them when we bring up race. They feel that we should be thanking them for all that they have done for us. They are confused, and so are we. We keep forgetting that directly talking about race is a waste of our breath. We are asking a demented, violent predator who thinks that they are a saint or a superhero, to accept responsibility. It ain't gonna happen. They have five holes in their brain. It's like banging your head against a brick wall. It's just like sort of not a good idea. (Time stamp 17:13)

- We need to remember that directly talking about race to white people is useless, because they are at the wrong level of conversation. Addressing racism assumes that white people can see and process what we are talking about. They can't. That's why they sound demented. They don't even know they have a mask on. White people think it's their actual face. We need to get to know the mask. (Time stamp 17:54)

Mistäpä tuollainen asenne voisi kummuta... (kriittinen teoria, kriittinen rotuteoria, intersektionaalisuus, jne., saman sontakikkareen eri osia)

QuoteKatie Herzog, who wrote yesterday about the spread of wokeness in medicine, interviewed the psychiatrist who delivered the talk, Dr. Aruna Khilanani.

QuoteI know you have a background in critical theory. How did you go from academia to psychiatry?

My masters is in humanities and the focus is largely on critical theory. I don't know if you're familiar with the University of Chicago, but it was very critical theory-heavy when I went. I did pre-med stuff in undergrad and had always been thinking of these issues. I also majored in English Lit and wondered about other ways of thinking. And I was interested in the unconscious for a long time, so it wasn't that big of a jump for me.

QuoteTalk to me about the unconscious. What is this?

Critical theory is about how you are positioned in the world. Ever since I was a little kid, since I've interacted with people who are white, and especially white women, I would notice that things were really off. So what I've done by going through psychoanalytic training, which is all about getting in touch with the unconscious, is literally work backwards. I'm like, "Ok, I've noticed that white people tend to put me in certain roles. White women will experience me this way, white men will experience me this way." I'm going to use psychoanalysis to work backwards and treat all of this as a projection to see what I can learn about their mind.

QuoteI love this. Ten percent of all marriages in America are interracial. We have the power to transcend racial divisions, but critical race theory seeks to deepen them. Thanks to Martin & Takyrica Kokoszka—two Chicago Public School teachers—for speaking out.

Muutamia kommentteja Rufon twiittiin:
QuoteYou love this? That's 10 percent too many.
QuoteThe conservative case for european extinction?
QuoteCRT: "We need to end whiteness and dismantle white identity."

Rufo: "Same."
QuoteYeah, what's the point of Rufo's work? He supports white erasure like any other lefty. Either preserve the white race or go full globohomo. People in the middle are grifters wasting everyone's time
QuoteLol this is literally pointing us towards the same goal of CRT which is "abolishing whiteness"
QuoteWhen you have friends like @realchrisrufo, who needs enemies?
QuoteFirst, you have nothing positive to say about White people. Now, you promote the same shit they do?
QuoteDon't you realise that what you are advocating for when you say "transcend racial divisions" is basically the same thing the critical race theorists want when they say they wish to "abolish the white race"?
QuoteYou love biological White erasure? How are you any different from the anti-Whites you claim to oppose? You're pushing the same anti-Whiteism. Disgusting.
QuoteYou should tell your Jewish bosses at the Manhattan Institute (chaired by Paul Singer) that Jews and Palestinians have the power to transcend racial divisions, but Zionism only seeks to deepen them. You should point to mixed Arab/Jewish couples as the way forward.
QuoteMiscegenation is degenerate and when you advocate for it you advocate for White genocide.
QuoteSo thats your motivation. You are also in an interracial relationship. The only solution for racial divisions is peaceful separation, not to breed yourself out of existence.
QuoteChris is promoting White Extinction. What's the point of his work if he is no different than leftists who also what white erasure? "Transcend race" is the same as "abolish white race"

QuoteWhen Critical Theory Took on Race

June 9, 2021 Matthew Nielsen

Critical Race Theory (CRT) has been gaining traction in organizations throughout the Western world for over 50 years, but increasingly so for the past 5 years leading up to 2021. It is either highly criticized or highly-regarded, with little room for fence-sitting—a phenomenon facilitated by the widespread adoption of social media. This essay will attempt to provide additional information about the connections between Critical Race Theory and its philosophical parent Critical Theory (CT).

A thorough reading of the historical development of both philosophical disciplines reveals a genealogy that is closer than simple intellectual similarities.

(...)

Critical Race Theory

What is it?

Everything in our world is power, the distribution of which is mediated by race (e.g. broad categorizations of Asian, Black, Caucasian, Hispanic, Native, Pacific Islander, etc.).[1] Every human construction, from governments to homeschool co-ops, are embedded in racial structures that fundamentally build or dismantle racism and white supremacy. All people, regardless of socioeconomic status, location, or personality cannot help but perpetuate or undermine systems of racial oppression. This is Critical Race Theory in a nutshell.

For adherents of this theory, Martin Luther King, Jr's dream is idealistic nonsense. The only path of progress is through the rubble of a completely dismantled America. (...)

As a result, racism cannot ever truly be solved, according to CRT. This belief creates a truly dangerous situation. Children are being taught that they live in a society that is riddled with racism and hate. They are being told that, due to factors outside their control—their melanin levels—they are oppressed, or they are the oppressors. They are also being taught that there is no resolution to this problem. Consider what havoc this is likely to wreak on young minds. (...)

Where did it come from?

Like many ideas, CRT is the product of the combining of other, older ideas. In this case, it started as Critical Legal Studies—the combination of race relations (arguably the social issue of the late 1960's in America) and the study of the law. A man particularly well-positioned to push this new theory forward, the founder of Critical Race Theory, was Harvard Law professor Derrick Bell. Bell (1930-2011) was the first black tenured law professor at Harvard. He was 40 years old at the time of his hiring.

The ideas and works of Derrick Bell are largely variations on a theme that was laid out over 65 years earlier by W.E.B. Du Bois (1868-1963). While Bell continues to be seen as the modern founder of CRT, his ties to Du Bois, if only conceptually, are readily acknowledged by CRT scholars.[3]

(...)

Critical Theory

What is it?

Everything in our world is power. Systems and structures are created to maintain and build upon that power. Governments, organizations, businesses, and even hobby clubs exist solely to maintain and build power. Critical Theory's goal is to intellectually emancipate society from oppression. Critical Theory is "...practical in a distinctively moral (rather than instrumental) sense."[4] In other words, "critical" arguments are formed and founded in rhetoric—only. You cannot test their claims with any instrument of measurement. This is Critical Theory in a nutshell.

So, if you can't test its claims, how can anyone know whether its claims are true or not? This requires faith or 'suspension of disbelief,' whichever you prefer. What value does it really have to anyone? So far, it's been a very effective method of creating additional faculty jobs at universities. It has the added benefit of creating for its proponents social protections that are granted to 'allies of the oppressed.'

Where did it come from?

Goethe University Frankfurt was one of the preeminent universities during the interwar period of the early 1900s. During this time, the Institute for Social Research was created by Friedrich Pollock and Felix Weil with a professor of political law and economy at University of Vienna named Carl Grunberg installed as its first director. (...) All of them were neo-Marxists. While they agreed with Marx, they felt many gaps were left in his writings that required development and explanation. The Institute (now commonly referred to as The Frankfurt School) was formed with the vision of filling in those conceptual gaps through the work of its members. (...)

Some of the Frankfurt School's more recognizable names include Horkheimer, Marcuse, Adorno, and Grunberg. (...)

The ideas that emanated from the scholars of the Institute for Social Research—Critical Theory—continue to influence the Western world today.

A Common Thread

Gustav von Schmoller was one of the frequently-mentioned professors in W.E.B. DuBois' letters back home. Carl Grunberg also studied under Schmoller during his stint at Strasbourg from 1872-82.

While no one can be completely sure exactly how much influence Schmoller had on either DuBois or Grunberg, it seems perfectly reasonable to surmise that it was more than zero. And, given both of Schmoller's eminent students went on to espouse similar positions on the proper framework through which to judge reality, the possibility seems even more likely.

So, who is Schmoller, then? He was born in Heilbronn, Germany in 1838. His father, as a civil servant in Wurttemberg, was a wealthy and influential man with connections to those in power. (...)

After working for his father for some time, rather than stick to government work, Schmoller decided to teach at a university. He was already a committed "communitarian," having gained and retained full faith in the state's ability to manage the entire economy in such a way that productivity and efficiency would be maximized.

For Schmoller, economic theory required a thorough consideration of all potential factors that could affect economic activity. And, as he himself had prescriptions for what the ideal society should look like, he provided social commentary willingly.

Economic behavior is embedded in a cultural style specific to one epoch, one historical structure of meaning, which happens to favor an economic style marked by certain "habitual moral sentiments" (Schmoller 1923a, 22), values, and norms. Therefore, if the most elementary object of economic analysis, economic action, has an ethical, cultural, and religious dimension, then the economic theory purporting to explain it must also encompass the interrelationship of ethical, cultural, and religious factors.[7]

Schmoller sought and advocated for social reforms in the name of social justice that aligned with his prescriptions. He reasoned that the study of political economy was properly oriented when it was focused on the psychology of economic action. "The true desideratum of economic research was, therefore, a psycho-social description of the motivations of human action."[8]

Conclusion: Intellectual Brothers

Schmoller's ideas about the psychology of economics found expression in W. E. B. Du Bois' work on the influence of racism in American economic and political life. Carl Grunberg's Institute for Social Research was the birthplace of Critical Theory—an admixture of Schmoller's psychology of economics and Marxism, where Marxism is the interpretive structure and economic psychology is the object of study. Both Du Bois and Grunberg were communists—with Du Bois writing a series of articles in support of Marxism during the 1930s and ultimately joining the Communist Party very late in life in 1961.[9] Both of them believed in a worldview that categorized everyone as oppressor or oppressed. Du Bois critiqued society using race as a frame of reference. Grunberg used social class as his.

Both Critical Theory and Critical Race Theory have at least one common progenitor: Gustav von Schmoller. Their common teacher joins Du Bois and Grunberg as intellectual brothers if their works did not show enough similarities to comfortably make that claim.

Tämä olisi hyvä muistaa etenkin Suomessa. Vaikka täällä kriittinen rotuteoria termi ei olekaan muodissa, niin täysin samaa sontaa opetetaan mm. kriittisen teorian ja feministisen pedagogiikan (käytännössä intersektionaalinen feminismi) termien alla. Näitä siis tuputetaan (mm.) opettajakoulutuksessa, ja voittepa uskoa, että vaikkei koulujen opetusohjelmissa mainita näitä termejä, niin jotkut (monet?) opettajat kyllä pyrkivät tunkemaan näitä oppimiaan asioita oppilaiden kurkusta alas. Jälleen tulee mieleen opettajien reaktio PS-nuorten "ilmiantokampanjaan"... Monikohan esim. QuoteAs you can probably imagine, the massive rebranding of Critical Race Theory is about to begin in schools, etc., now that people know what it is and don't like it. (Next step will be to rebrand and criticize CRT itself while still doing CRT.) Gotta keep your eyes open.

If they are teaching about racial privilege, they're teaching CRT. If they are teaching about racial equity or racial justice (outside of narrow, historical uses), they are teaching CRT. Words like "voices," "decolonize," "transformative," "diverse," etc. are giveaways.

Currently, essentially everything related to "inclusion" is treated under a Critical Social Justice (thus, when racial, Critical Race Theory) lens. There are various ways for them to downplay this, like saying "whiteness" isn't really part of CRT, or CRT is just about law.

The truth about Critical Theories in general is that they are abusers of language and manipulators. They will gladly say "Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT)" isn't "Critical Race Theory (CRT)" so "you don't even know what's happening." They probably arranged that on purpose.

We talk a lot about the virtues and skills needed to combat Critical Race Theory and Critical Theories more generally, and I only rarely mention discernment. Discernment requires knowledge and wisdom, so you must get informed and pay attention. If it feels wrong, dig.

This, though, is why it's so important to combat Critical Social Justice Theory at the level of what it DOES, not by its name. To these liars and manipulators, the names are all disposable. You have to stop their stereotyping, scapegoating, discrimination, segregation, etc.

Regarding Queer Theory, they're probably less apt to rebrand and more apt to accuse you of encouraging childhood suicides if you don't give them their way. You have to stand firm and ban inappropriate sexualization, unscientific characterizations, etc. Then it gets ugly.

QuoteCritical Race Theory, n.: The belief that (systemic) racism is the fundamental organizing principle of Western societies.

NB: "Systemic racism" is a neo-Marxian concept, not an actual phenomenon. It is the name given for the Marxian conflict-theory "power dynamic" that is believed to create structurally and materially deterministic class stratifications by race. It's a magical concept.

"Systemic racism" is the organizing principle of Western societies, and it defines a Marxian superstructure known as "white supremacy" that outlines how it allegedly works. Marxian superstructures aren't real. They're divisive fables rooted in grotesque collectivism.

Quote'North Korea was crazy, but not this crazy': Columbia student, 27, who escaped Stalinist dictatorship warns wokeism is stifling freedom of speech at US universities just like in her homeland

(...)

Yeonmi Park and her mother fled North Korea to China over the frozen Yalu River in 2007, when she was just 13, and the two were sold into slavery by human traffickers.

They were ultimately able to flee to Mongolia with the help of Christian missionaries and trekked across the Gobi Desert to eventually find refuge in South Korea, where Park, now 27, attended college before transferring to Columbia in 2016.

(...)

'I expected that I was paying this fortune, all this time and energy to learn how to think,' she told FOX News. 'But they are forcing you to think the way they want you to think.'

'I realized, 'Wow, this is insane,'' she recounted, 'I thought America was different but I saw so many similarities to what I saw in North Korea that I started worrying.'

Park said that her professors would give them 'trigger warnings' and allow them to opt out of readings and discussions.

'Going to Columbia, the first thing I learned was 'safe space,'' she told the New York Post.

She explained that when she started school at Columbia, she was excited to learn more about history, a subject she said was discouraged in her homeland.

But when her teacher, discussing Western Civilization, asked if students had an issue with the name of the class topic, most did, saying there was a 'colonial' slant.

'Every problem, they explained us, is because of white men,' she said, reminding her of her home country where people were categorized based on their ancestors, according to the Post.

During her orientation, a professor asked who the class who liked classical books, like Jane Austen.

'I said, 'I love those books,' Park said in an interview with FOX News. 'I thought it was a good thing.'

'Then she said, 'Did you know those writers had a colonial mindset? They were racists and bigots and are subconsciously brainwashing you.'

From there, she said, her classes were filled with 'anti-American sentiment, reminding her of her childhood in North Korea, where students were constantly taught about the 'American bastard,' which was the only way they were allowed to refer to Americans.

(...)

'It felt like the regression in civilization,' she said.

Eventually, she said she 'learned how to just shut up' so she could get good grades and graduate, but, she said, 'Even North Korea is not this nuts.'

'North Korea was pretty crazy,' she said, 'but not this crazy.'

'I don't know why people are collectively going crazy like this or together at the same time.'

Many of the classes at Columbia, she said, would teach the students about how white men have ruined everything, despite leaders like Mao Zedong killing political dissidents.

'Because I have seen oppression, I know what it looks like,' Park said, adding that she saw people dying of starvation by the time she was 13.

'These kids keep saying how they're oppressed, how much injustice they've experienced,' Park said of her fellow students. 'They don't know how hard it is to be free.'

(...)

But, she said, here in America people 'are just dying to give their rights and power to the government.

'That is what scares me the most,' she said, adding: 'Power can corrupt, that's just the nature of power.'

'In North Korea, I literally believed that my Dear Leader was starving,' Park said, referring to Kim Jong Un.

'He's the fattest guy - how can anyone believe that? And then somebody showed me a photo and said 'Look at him, he's the fattest guy. Other people are all thin.' And I was like 'Oh my God, why did I not notice that he was fat?' Because I never learned how to think critically.'

'That is what is happening in America,' Park concluded. 'People see things, but they've just completely lost the ability to think critically.'

She said she did not understand how that could happen in the United States.

'North Koreans, we don't have Internet, we don't have access to any of these great thinkers, we don't know anything,' she said. 'But here, while having everything, people choose to be brainwashed. And they deny it.'

'You guys have lost common sense to a degree that I as a North Korean cannot even comprehend.'

Now, she says, she fears America is going to become like North Korea.

'Where are we going from here?' she asked, rhetorically. 'The future of our country's as bleak as North Korea's if we do not rise up right now.'

'There's no rule of law, no morality, nothing is good or bad anymore, it's complete chaos.

'I guess that's what they want,' she said,' to destroy every single thing and rebuild into a communist paradise.'

In her memoir, In Order to Live, Park warned that Americans were censoring and silencing each other through cancel culture.

'Voluntarily, these people are censoring each other, silencing each other, no force behind it,' she said.

'Other times (in history) there's a military coup d'etat, like a force comes in taking your rights away and silencing you. But this country is choosing to be silenced, choosing to give their rights away.'

The Folketing has the expectation that the university managements will continuously ensure that the self-regulation of scientific practice works. This means that there is no unification, that politics is not disguised as science, and that it is not possible to systematically evade justified professional criticism. Universities are originally a hallmark of Europe, with roots in the Middle Ages. Nowadays, they function as crucial societal institutions that form a framework for free and critical thinking. The basic principle of the free university is an academic self-regulation. It consists in the research community, through free and critical debate, reaching a consensus on both the ideas that the research community considers to be viable and on the ideas that, in the light of the critical debate, cannot be maintained. The Folketing has the same right as all other assemblies of citizens, or citizens individually, to express views on research results. But it does not determine what can be researched or how.

Alkuperäinen kysymys oli ilmeisesti tämä:

QuoteAbout excessive activism in certain research environments.

Ministerial area:
Ministry of Education and Research

The query:

Does the Minister agree that in certain humanities and social sciences research environments there are problems with excessive activism at the expense of scientific virtues, and does the Minister agree that such a trend calls for action similar to the showdown announced by the French Government, and the study of the scale of the problem that it has launched?

Abstract

Mother from USSR destroying Equity, Marxism at the Board Meeting BCSD. Calling School Bolshevik. CRT
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hs70QLpBBvo
Quote
Good evening everyone.  I am a mother of three children in district. And I am very concerned. The proposed "Anti-racist program"  is just a prettier name for racial Marxist teaching. You don't need to sugar coat it for me. I lived it.  Same methods , same vocabulary, same preferential treatment to certain groups. That's why  equity is packed  with good causes like diversity and inclusion, so nobody can challenge it. But I know.

Ask me how I know?

I was born in Soviet Union and my family has seen it all. Suffering first from Nazi and then from tyrannical Soviet Ideology. Back there, what started with Equity for All - quickly ended with Nothing to Eat for my people.  And now my family is here because of it, because equity doesn't work . We did not come here for a blanketed synthetic  equity – we had enough of that one, we came here for Equal opportunity under the Law and freedoms in this country.

Soviets extinguished all the excellence and opportunity. They told us they were advocates for equity  and enemies of privilege, people believed and we paid the awful price.  this ideology killed millions of people worldwide. And now you bringing it here to indoctrinate our children.  Equity was just a tool used by communists to make sure everyone was  equally poorly educated, so people didn't question authority. While in definition it was about fairness,  In reality it means same outcome - nobody excels, mind-boggling  sameness. The key tactic is to remove all the  incentive and  motivation to succeed for all the students.

Is this why Student Committee proposing less homework and audit of AP classes?   Why are you trying to demotivate students and lower the standards instead of directly helping underperforming students?  that's exactly  what equity means in reality, making everyone mediocre.

Yesterday I got a letter from school. The Marxist Equity mentioned 14 times. I have a message for everyone here,  this is not a Bolshevik Central Schoold District in Soviet Union, this is Bedford Central School District  in the United States of America.  I was born in Siberia, I had to switch the continents because of equity, I can and I will switch a school district if the equity gets pushed , but I will never switch on American Dream and equal opportunity for my chilldren, the very unique, which uplifts, gives second chances to people like me, motivates, and brings the best in the people regardless race and ethnicity and we have to protect it.  I know because I ve seen the other  side,  im here to warn you it's not pretty.

===========
On June 16th  '21  I put my words to action and took a stand for every hardworking immigrant, who came to this country with simply nothing, just a hope for the better future. Who seen the atrocities of Marxism and Communism first hand. For whom America was the most accepting, freedom loving,  peaceful bay until the very latest events.
After communists failed on all grounds, impoverished and killed millions of people worldwide, they all moved to Academia. We can not let school indoctrinate our children, we have no other country to escape like we did once already.
Let people know Equity is anti-American. Please share the message, many people are focused on CRT. But if schools deny they use CRT and still have Equity written all over their policies, this is it - the end of freedom loving America !! Thank you for keeping the good fight for future of our kids !

Nää on tän vuosikymmenen avainkonsepteja. Ennakoiva yrityspomo ottanee haltuun!, Jussi Herlin twiittasi helmikuussa.

(...)

Tuo on omasta mielestäni ehkä julmin woke-sekopäiden "aiheista".

Loppujen lopuksi samaa sontaa tietenkin kaikki, mutta on nuo psykopaatit ilmeisesti saanut jo jotain riitoja keskenäänkin aikaiseksi. Kuka on kaikista kovimmin sorretuin...  Mutta siis tuosta queer-teoriasta, jälleen kerran James Lindayn sanoin:

QuoteQueer Theory is, in many respects, the most purely postmodern derivative of Theory (as compared, say, to critical race Theory, which is much more significantly critical, i.e., Neo-Marxist, in orientation, relatively speaking). That is because queer Theory owes a great deal very specifically to the French postmodern (or, poststructuralist) philosophers Michel Foucault (see also, Foucauldian) and Jacques Derrida (see also, Derridean). Foucault's relevance is of such central importance not least because of his attempts to address the power dynamics and social constructions around homosexuality throughout history and madness in his History of Sexuality and History of Madness (see also, discourses, power-knowledge, biopower, and episteme).

https://newdiscourses.com/tftw-queer-theory/

QuoteThe philosopher Michel Foucault, a beacon of today's "woke" ideology, has become the latest prominent French figure to face a retrospective reckoning for sexually abusing children.

https://hommaforum.org/index.php/topic,131511.msg3292024.html#msg3292024

https://quillette.com/2020/10/06/forget-what-gender-activists-tell-you-heres-what-medical-transition-looks-like/

Tuo jengi on pelkkää...

Notski pystyyn.

Quote
The Books Are Already Burning
The question is only: How long will decent people stand by quietly and watch it happen?

Bari Weiss:

(...)

How have we gotten here? How have we gotten to the point where having conversations about important scientific and medical subjects requires such a high level of personal risk? How have we accepted a reality in which Big Tech can carry out the digital equivalent of book burnings? And why is it that so few people are speaking up against the status quo?

I can't think of a person better situated to answer these questions than Abigail Shrier, the author of today's guest essay.

You may have heard of Shrier. She is the author of Irreversible Damage, which the Economist named one of the best books of last year, and a dogged journalist who has taken on the difficult and thankless subject of the enormous rise of gender dysphoria among teenage girls.

I say thankless because it's hard to capture the decibel of the vitriol that has met her work. To give you a taste: one of the ACLU's most prominent lawyers said that "stopping the circulation of this book and these ideas is 100% a hill I will die on." (The subject of how the ACLU came to favor book banning is taken up brilliantly here.) And this is to say nothing of the personal defamation of Shrier's character, smears that bear zero relationship to my courageous friend.

(...)

That is precisely the reason it is so important to stand up and say: no.
To say: progress comes only when we have the freedom to disagree. To say: It is outrageous that tech platforms are censoring such debates and that some journalists are cheering them on. To say, in public: enough. In my case, that means making sure to publish those voices who have been shut out of so many other channels that ought to be open to them.

— BW

(Abigail tästä eteenpäin)

One hundred and forty-six people in Halifax, Nova Scotia wait on a list to borrow a library book. A question hangs over them: Will activists let them read it?

The book is mine — Irreversible Damage — and it is an investigation of a medical mystery: Why is the number of teenage girls requesting (and obtaining) gender reassignment skyrocketing in the United States, Canada, Scandinavia and Europe? In Great Britain, it's up 4,400% over the last decade.

Though it shouldn't be, this has become a highly controversial area of inquiry. The book is an exploration of why so many girls would, in such a short timeframe, decide they are transgender. And it raises questions about whether they're getting appropriate medical treatment.

The book is not about whether trans people exist. They do. And it is not about adults who elect to medically transition genders. As I have stated endlessly in public interviews and in Senate testimony, I fully support medical transition for mature adults and believe that transgender individuals should live openly without fear or stigma.

(...)

There's a pattern to such censorship campaigns. A fresh example presented itself this past week at Science-Based Medicine, which bills itself as "a group blog exploring issues and controversies in the relationship between science in medicine."

On Tuesday, one of the blog's long-time contributors, Dr. Harriet Hall — a family physician and flight surgeon in the Air Force with dozens of publications to her name — posted a favorable review of my book. She examined the scientific claims as well as the medical ones and wrote that the book "combines well-researched facts with horrifying stories about botched surgeries, people who later regret their choices and therapists who are not providing therapy but just validating their patient's self-diagnosis." Dr. Hall not only shared my criticisms of "affirmative care" — that is, immediately agreeing with a teen's self-diagnosis of gender dysphoria and proceeding to hormones and surgeries — but also noted that many physicians and therapists feel the same way but are afraid to say so.

Within a day, Dr. Hall's article was flooded with nearly 1,000 comments, mostly, she says, from activists demanding the article be stripped from the site, but also from some readers expressing their appreciation. Angry emails from activists swamped the blog's editors. Within two days, those editors had given Dr. Hall an ultimatum: retract, rewrite, or allow them to add a disclaimer.

"What surprised me was that my fellow editors attacked me, too. Basically what they said was that my article was not up to my usual standards as far as medicine, science and critical thinking went. And I didn't feel that I did anything but what I always do. That surprised me," she told me. Considering the editors' ultimatum, she elected to have the editors who disagreed add a disclaimer to the website. "I told them I did not want it retracted. And the next thing I knew, they had retracted it."

Let that sink in: a book review by a respected physician was bullied out of existence in America.

(...)

It's not only corporations facing this type of activist pressure. Public libraries now do, too.

Halifax Pride, the annual LGBTQ festival, announced late last month that it would cut ties with the city's library system over its insistence on carrying Irreversible Damage, calling it "transphobic," and claiming that it "jeopardizes the safety of trans youth" and "debates the existence of trans people."

So far, the Halifax Public Libraries have resisted. Their position is straightforward and apolitical: libraries exist to expose the public to the widest array of views, "including those which may be regarded as unorthodox or unpopular with the majority."

The Halifax Public Libraries tried to compromise with the activists by pasting a note inside the book's cover, directing readers to a list of "trans-affirming" resources. But the activists were unappeased. No ties with the libraries were restored. They want the book gone from the library and scrubbed from existence. Two copies in a library of nearly 1.2 million volumes are two too many.

Not even the Nova Scotia Library Association or the Canadian Library Association has come to the library's defense, though their standing orders explicitly require member libraries "to guarantee and facilitate access to all expressions of knowledge and intellectual activity, including those which some elements of society may consider to be unconventional, unpopular or unacceptable."

(...)

Child and adult psychologists and psychiatrists write to say they have witnessed a surge in transgender identification among teen girls who seem to be acting under peer and social media influence. Teachers write to say they believe that the phenomenon is plainly an example of social contagion within their classrooms. Surgeons and pediatricians and endocrinologists write to wonder aloud at what has happened to their profession.

(...)

And so, for over a year, I responded to those silent supporters with thanks and reassurance. You don't have to speak out, just send me your documents — I will expose it for you. No need to stand up for me publicly, just tell me what you know. For a while, this seemed a decent bargain.

But then, a few months ago, a pediatrician reached out to say that she also thought it was insane that minors were self-prescribing testosterone and that she agreed that her profession was negligent in unquestioningly "affirming" the sudden trans-identification of teenagers.

The standard response didn't cut it this time. I wrote back as politely as I could: That's just not good enough. You are a doctor. We aren't the same with regard to medical scandals. I can continue to seek and publish the truth. I can interview experts and report what they've said. But you can appeal to your own authority. You took a Hippocratic oath. If you see young patients in harm's way, you have an obligation to do something.

The same is true for other professions. If you are a teacher, you entered the profession in order to expand young minds. If you are watching them being warped, it's your responsibility to fight that. If you are a journalist witnessing lies being spread by your colleagues, it's your responsibility to stand up for truth. If you are a professor, watching your colleagues being bullied — a med school professor watching hokum being peddled as fact, a scientist watching the corruption of research — there's no one else to speak up but you.

Each of us knows this in theory. But why do so few oppose the pressure, lies, and the corrupting force of these bullying campaigns?

The silent supporters have each performed the same risk-benefit calculation and arrived at the same conclusion: Speaking up isn't worth it. It could cost a job, reputation, peace and friends — it requires the assumption of risk and a willingness to sacrifice.

And it is easy to justify our silence. We tell ourselves that we are protecting our families by remaining quiet and in the short-term, and we may be. But we are also handing our children over to a culture in which freedom of conscience and expression are drowned out. We are teaching our children that truth shouldn't be our primary concern — or at least, that truth is negotiable or subordinate to being agreeable. They are learning that it is more important to remain acceptable to the powerful than to be truly free.

Whether or not most people admit it, what keeps them from speaking up in the face of what they know is wrong is fear. Fear not primarily of unemployment, though that is a pressing concern, but fear of ostracism. (...)

So terrible is this fear and this pain that in ancient Rome, a person sentenced to death could opt for exile instead. The Romans understood that ostracism was a punishment as bad as death.

(...)

The first hundred or so silent supporter emails meant the most to me. They made me feel less crazy and less alone. But the inescapable reality is that defeating this ideology will take courage. And courage is not something that can happen in private. Courage requires each one of us to speak up, publicly, for what we believe in. Even when — especially when — it carries costs.

Silti joskus hommakin on onnistunut valtavirtaistamaan joitain käsitteitä.

QuoteLEAKED DOCUMENTS from Iowa School System show Teachers are FORCED to classify 'Make America Great Again" as a type of "racism" & "white supremacy."

This is done through MANDATORY Critical Race Theory training FORCED on teachers at taxpayer expense.

Trump won Iowa by +9 points

Teachers of Iowa are being INSTRUCTED to classify the vast majority of Iowan children as Racist & White Supremacist.

Iowa is Trump country. Trump carried 94 out of 99 Iowa counties in 2020. The Republican Governor endorsed Trump. The Iowa Senate/House is solid Republican.

This is a ROCK SOLID, REAL WORLD application of Critical Race Theory being used as a *political* weapon to target Republicans.

This is NOT education.

It is naked political vengeance using the state education system and our children's educators.

This training is CRT in practice

This training was MANDATED to ALL educators and employees of the Mississippi Bend Area Education Agency, one of the largest school districts in Iowa.

The training is stamped with the approval of the school district, which operates under the Iowa Department of Education.

At the time of this racist training House file 802 was working its way through the Iowa legislature. This bill explicitly banned this style of derogatory, offensive training in "mandatory diversity training for state and local government employees."

This Bill is now Iowa LAW.

The slide that lists "Make America Great Again" as white supremacist is also lists as racist:

- Columbus Day
- American Immigration Law
- "Mass Incarceration"
- "Denying white privilege"
- Believing America is "post racial"
- Believing people are part of a "human family"

Here is more from the Presentation.

This slide shows the "Levels" of Racism - Systemic, Institutional, Interpersonal, and Internalized.

Translation: Everything is racist and you are racist for being white.

This slide shows "Terms for Deeper Understanding" and links to two websites that define these terms citing the biggest proponents of CRT, Robin DiAngelo, Ibram X. Kendi and the creators of Critical Race Theory Jean Stefancic and Richard Delgado.

The presentation itself defines 'Critical Race Theory' as a tool for the destruction of America:

"Unlike traditional civil rights which embraces step by step progress, Critical race theory questions the very foundations of the liberal order & principles of constitutional law"

Hundreds of educators and staff have been FORCED to take this training.  We have the sign in sheet. Attendees of the meeting were prompted to give their input on drafting an "Anti-Racism" Statement and break into groups to discuss their own whiteness and racism.

The Facilitator notes on this slide show that attendees were asked to question their own beliefs and basically forced to ask themselves if they might be racist for agreeing with the term "Make America Great Again".

More slides showing the purpose of the meeting, "Norms", their definition of "Equity" and "Silence Breakers"

The conclusion of the presentation prompts the instructors to "plan next steps for our shared learning and organizational growth in the fall."

They are planning on teaching this to your children next semester. This is illegal under Iowa Law. Will the law be enforced?

At the end of the training the Iowa teachers are given a reading list that includes:

- White Fragility: by Robin DiAngelo
- Racial Equity Tools Glossary
- Stamped from the Beginning: The Definitive History of Racist Ideas in America by Ibram X. Kendi
- Eurocentric Curriculum

This training is hard proof that Critical Race Theory is being used as a POLITICAL weapon specifically targeting Republicans. This is NOT education. It is political vengeance using the federal education system. They are starting with our children - even in DARK RED STATES.

Poiminta juttuun tulleista kommenteista:

Yhdysvallat on käymässä läpi mankelia, jossa hyvältä kuulostavilla otsikoilla ("antirasistinen koulutus") instituutioihin tuodaan höttöisiä filosofisia ideoita (postmodernismi ja kriittinen teoria, joista critical race theory juontuu).

Yhdysvalloissa on viime vuosina ilmennyt varoittavia esimerkkejä "ontoiksi kalutuista" koulutusinstituutioista, joissa alati kasvava "antirasistinen työ" vie enenevästi resurssit koulun perustehtäviltä.

Muut lähteet on mainittu kirjoituksen lopussa.

Mitä on wokeness?

Rasismin käsite on laajennettu wokenessissa kattamaan suurin osa länsimaiden asukkaista. Valkoihoisten osalta rasismin esiintyvyys on tällä määritelmällä 100%. Wokenessin silmissä jokainen valkoihoinen ihminen on rasisti.

Etnisyyksien välisissä suhteissa wokenessin vaikutus on siis musertava.

Lähtökohtaisesti postmoderni dekonstruktio on purkanut sukupuolet atomeiksi.
Tiede on falsifikaatioon perustuvaa, wokeness on verifikationistista. Koska wokenessin metodologia on epätieteellistä, se tarvitsi omat laitokset, joissa tulla sovelletuksi.

Tähän tarkoitukseen syntyivät erinäiset "Studies"-oppiaineet tai laitokset. Gender Studies, Race Studies, Fat Studies, Disability Studies, Queer Studies. "Master's tools will never dismantle the master's house" totesi Audrey Lorde. Tieteellisen metodologian rinnalle pyrittiin nostamaan "vaihtoehtoisia tietämisen tapoja" – kansanperintöä, tunnereaktioita ja taikauskoa. "Research justice"-nimisellä kehotuksella tutkijoita ohjattiin viittaamaan artikkeleihin tieteellisen sisällön sijaan kirjoittajan etnisyyden pohjalta.
...

Vertaispaine on hurja voima.

Näistäkin syistä TeaK:in henkilökunnan olisi hyvä koota itsensä ja selvittää, miltä arvopohjalta korkeakoulu pyörii. Tämä TeaK:in opettajienkin olisi hyvä huomioida.

...

...
Tästä huolimatta on välttämätöntä todeta, että olen valitettavasti joutunut monasti kohtaamaan rotu- ja representaatiokysymysten käsittelyn äärellä hyvin yksipuolisia, moraalisesti puritaanisia ja ideologisesti dogmaattisia suhtautumistapoja. Myös SK:n jutusta kummunneessa keskustelussa on kyetty paikantamaan tietynlainen fanaattisuus, joka mainitunkaltaiseen ajatteluun toisinaan sisältyy.
...
Kuitenkin pakottaudun toteamaan, että adressin esittämä päättelyketju asian tiimoilta on omituinen. En osaa tulkita tekstikohtaa mitenkään muuten kuin lukemalla, että ongelmaksi paikannettu "epätasainen jakauma" oppilaistossa viittaa lauseeseen, jonka mukaan "enemmistö Suomen korkeakouluopiskelijoista on valkoisia". Väite on hämmentävä.

...
Sen tosiasian, että enemmistö suomalaisista korkeakouluopiskelijoista on "valkoisia", käyttäminen merkkinä "epätasaisesta jakaumasta", so. rakenteellisesta syrjinnästä, on paitsi älyllisesti laiskaa, myös vaarallista.
...

Hyvä on. Mutta mitkä? Kenellä on valta määritellä antirasismiin sitoutumisen aste ja onnistuneisuus?

Kenties rodullistetuilla ihmisillä? — Mutta kuten olemme ylempänä nähneet, kaikki rodullistetut eivät ole tässä suhteessa yhtäläisiä: olletikin Makwan Amirkhanin kaltaiset "valkoisuuden puolelle lipsahtaneet" maahanmuuttajat eivät ole valideja lähteitä (anti)rasistisuuden arvioimiselle.
...

...
Adressissa vaaditaan myös "eurosentrisyyden" purkamista. Opetuksessa käsiteltyjen kulttuuriperinteiden alan laajentaminen onkin sinänsä aiheellinen tavoite. Omassa opetuksessani muistan saaneeni merkittäviä oivalluksia esimerkiksi Kaakkois-Aasian musiikki- ja teatteriperinteiden, uralilaisen shamaaniperinteen, sekä Amazonin heimojen rituaalikäytäntöjen käsittelystä. Tällaisen opetuksen määrää on aihetta lisätä.

Rufo on ok. Kriittinen rotuteoria on tarkoitettu edistämään marxilaista vallankumousta.
Englsnnissa aloitettiin liike orjuuden lopettamiseksi.

Human Wedgie McGee,

I hereby resign as 21CCLC Site Coordinator in light of The Frankfurt School Manchester School District's endorsement of the dehumanization and hatred of White people, as evidenced by their dissemination of the imbecilic "White Privilege" curriculum presented by the intellectual titans at "Learning For Justice," an organization founded by America's eternal arbiters of truth and morality – the SPLC – where senior fellow Mark Potok's office is decorated with celebratory charts of the declining percentage of White people in the United States and Europe. Despite MSD's inability to abide by its own Anti-Harassment policy and the complete lack of respect and procedure MSD is owed in return, I will honor my obligation to provide two weeks' notice. Surely, though, in the interest of the greater good of humanity, MSD will unburden itself of my unendurable "Whiteness" by exercising its discretion to "excuse an employee from such notice and relieve an employee from his or her position immediately."

Whoa. Seriously? "His or her???" OMG. Wow just wow. I can't even.

How is Manchester School District still operating on this archaic binary? Oh where, oh where is the equity? As a Transfeminine-Spectrasexual-Non-Libidoist-Subaru-Forester-Basset-Hound-Hybrid with a mixtape of surgical errors for genitals, I am non-binarily outraged at Manchester School District's stunning failure at inclusivity of Soft Butch, Stone Butch, Panromantic, Genderdormant, Cupiosexual, Trigender, Polygender, Demigender, and Left-of-Gender peoples, and I call for the resignation and immediate gender reassignment surgery of Superintendent Goldhardt, Chief Equity Officer (lmao) Steady, and all other District Administrators and Board of School Committee members responsible for this wanton toxicity that, though obviously acceptable to treat mere cisnormative Whites with, is supposed to be spared those that share fellowship in the cultural revolution, adopt abstract and performative identities, and list pronouns after their names. How absolutely dare you/yours/yourself?

In closing, I wish the Trotsky disciples at MSD nothing but failure in their ongoing quest for civilizational degradation. I leave you with the only verbal response befitting any attempt at anti-White indoctrination:

F**k you.

Diversely, equitably, and inclusively yours

Quote1/ The memo has gone out!

The woke are going to try to keep Critical Race Theory in  k-12 public schools by dismissing all opposition to it as a contrived "Moral Panic."

They can't defend CRT, so instead their goal is to get people to dismiss us.

let's unpack the strategy

2/ To start off let's be clear: CRT absolutely is being used in Education.

Here, Richard Delgado and Jean Stefancic (who helped found CRT) discuss some of how CRT got into education, and how proud they are of that fact.

3/ This week Ibram X. Kendi went on Joy Reids show and said CRT is only taught in Law schools (pic 1). But a co-founder of CRT, Richard Delgado, said that CRT "is in some way more lively in education than it is in law."

So it's not just in Law Schools, it's also in education.

4/ So why are they saying that this isn't happening and that the push against CRT is just a "moral panic?"

The answer is that they know that if people see what is going on, and become aware of what CRT really says, they would throw CRT out of k-12 in a heartbeat.

5/ So there are a couple of things that the CRT activists will do.

First, they're going to try to cover it up by claiming this is all a big misunderstanding, that people just don't understand CRT, and that the opponents of CRT are panicked because they are uninformed about CRT.

6/ Another tactic is to use jargon as a Smoke Screen

This is where someone uses excessive amounts technical wording to make themselves look smart while at the same time burying their argument under jargon so that what they say goes unchallenged.

7/ This is a of social power move. The goal is to make the person using jargon look like an expert and anyone who doesn't know the jargon look ignorant. This destroys the social standing or credibility of anyone who disagrees so they can't taken seriously in the conversation.

8/ Finally, they just might lie to you and keep teaching CRT anyway, just using different wording.

This is a subtype of the "shell games with words" strategy where the goal is to manipulate language and switch between various types of terminology in order to get what they want.

9/ They think if they swap out the old CRT wording for new wording that says the same thing, then no one will notice. That way they can keep teaching CRT without parents noticing.

10/ And of course, some teachers will just operate using outright defiance.

They will teach CRT if it's in the curriculum or not.

11/ Another Strategy is to claim that CRT does not get taught in class. This is just trying to sneak CRT into the classroom on a technicality.

@ConceptualJames does an excellent job of explaining how this dodge works in the thread linked here

12/ You should read that thread, but the short version is that all "Critical Theories" (including CRT) contain the idea that it is not enough to know the theory, you must do activism based on the theory. This means implementing the theories ideas and agitating for it's goals

13/ Which is what teacher that bring CRT into the classroom are doing. They may not be assigning CRT readings, but they are *doing* CRT activism in what they teach their students. As such, they bake as much of the CRT worldview into the lessons as they can. Even if they aren't...

14/  making the students read CRT textbooks, they are building the worldview and ideas of CRT into the lesson plan.

The fact that they are turning to these tactics shows they know their ideas are not popular, and the people would reject them. Do not let them off the hook.

QuoteWhen they say they aren't teaching Critical Race *Theory* in schools, they're telling an obvious lie that gives away the game, and it's important.

They're not *teaching* Critical Race Theory (much), they're DOING Critical Race Theory, which requires "praxis" (applying Theory).

Critical Race Theory is a Critical Theory. All Critical Theories require praxis (a Marxian term for doing activism based on Theory), by definition. They mostly aren't teaching Critical Race Theory, then; they're DOING IT, to your kids. That's MUCH WORSE.

The laws being passed don't prohibit the teaching of Critical Race Theory. They prevent Critical Race Praxis, which is all the Woke activists really want. But since banning Critical Race Praxis bans a crucial aspect of Critical Race Theory, they can whine about CRT bans.

Many of these bills *explicitly* say that they don't ban the teaching of Critical Race Theory, but they block Critical Race Praxis, thus Theory, and this allows CRT defenders to equivocate and then conflate ("they're banning teaching about slavery").

The thing is, the lies are distractions. They've been blocked from engaging in Critical Race Praxis, which is the application of that poison to your children, and they're losing their minds over it and doing everything they possibly can to lie their way into continuing it.

Kaksi Stanfordin yliopiston mielenterveysalan ammattilaista aikoo haastaa yliopiston oikeuteen juutalaisvastaisesta häirinnästä. Aluksi kaksikko oli innoissaan saadessaan kuulla yliopistossa järjestettävästä rasismin vastaisesta koulutuksesta. Mieli muuttui kuitenkin nopeasti, kun he tajusivat että heidän on osallistuttava eurooppalaistaustaisten ryhmään.

QuoteStanford therapists allege 'hostile climate' for Jews in the workplace

Two Jewish mental health professionals at Stanford's on-campus counseling clinic have filed workplace discrimination complaints after what they call "severe and persistent" anti-Jewish harassment from colleagues.

Dr. Ronald Albucher, a psychiatrist and associate professor in the medical school, and Sheila Levin, a therapist specializing in eating disorders, describe being pressed into joining a "whiteness" affinity group by staffers with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program, being told they were "privileged," and seeing antisemitic incidents downplayed.

The university responded inadequately to their concerns, made over the course of a year, Albucher and Levin say, thereby fostering a "hostile and unwelcoming environment" for Jewish employees working for Stanford's Counseling and Psychological Services office (CAPS).
...

The trouble began in November 2019, Albucher and Levin say, when CAPS employees were asked to join weekly seminars run by the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion program within the clinic, formed earlier that year. The DEI program is facilitated by fellow psychologists and mental health professionals within CAPS.
...

Albucher said he was "excited about and supportive" of the DEI program at first. "As a psychiatrist working on a campus like Stanford, where people from all over the world come to study, teach and do research, it only helps to increase one's knowledge base about other cultures and religions," he told J.

But once DEI programming began, his view soured.

Before their first meeting, CAPS staff were asked to read "White Fragility," the 2018 New York Times bestseller by Robin DiAngelo. Albucher said the assignment did not appeal to him as an introduction to DEI training because it is deeply pessimistic about race relations in the U.S., and it argues that all white people are fragile on race issues, no matter what.
...

To discuss "White Fragility," the complaint says, DEI members split up CAPS staff by race, facilitating "space for white staff" to "process [their] reaction" to it. The group was later named the "Whiteness Accountability group/book club."

The complaint describes "racially segregated affinity groups that separated CAPS staff members on the basis of race or perceived race. One of these groups was for white staff, and another group was for staff comprising minorities of color.

"No affinity group was ever created for members of Jewish ancestral identity," it continues. "As a result, there was no 'space' in the DEI program for Dr. Albucher and Ms. Levin to safely express their lived Jewish experience."

Albucher said he was deeply uncomfortable with the discussion groups reserved for white people and refused to join them, although he continued to attend DEI seminars.

"As a gay Jewish man, I have my own perceptions on white supremacy, and the history of this country," he said. "My family has had to contend with white supremacy," he said, adding that he has family members who died in the Holocaust.

Levin also did not want to join the whites-only group, telling a DEI member that "as a Jewish person, she does not feel an affinity with white identity," according to the complaint. She said the individual responded that "this was the direction the clinic was going" and she needed to participate if she "wanted to be part of a collegial environment."

Albucher and Levin allege a pattern of anti-Jewish bias within the DEI program. The complaint cites a DEI seminar on May 20, 2020 at which concerns about antisemitism were downplayed following a racist and antisemitic "Zoombombing" incident four days earlier, when the N-word and swastikas were shared at a student government meeting.
...

DEI committee members "justified the omission of anti-Semitism," the complaint says, "by insisting that unlike other minority groups, Jews can hide behind their white identity." During the meeting, Albucher and Levin say they were "subjected to anti-Jewish stereotypes," such as that Jews are "wealthy and powerful business owners."
