Yhdysvalloissa on paljastunut ehkä vuosisadan suurin skandaali, mikä tulee todennäköisesti tuhoamaan Demokraattisen Puolueen tai tietyt avainhenkilöt pitävät suunsa kiinni ja lähtevät istumaan eli uppoavat Titanicin mukana.

• Helmikuussa 2017, pakistanilaisilta IT-työntekijöiltä Abid Awan, Imran Awan, Jamal Awan, Hina Alvi ja Natalia Sovalta evättiin pääsy Yhdysvaltojen hallinnon tietokoneisiin
• Awan perheenjäsenet ovat rikostutkinnassa, koska poliisi havaitsi, että kongressin tietoja oli siirretty hallinnon ulkopuolella oleviin palvelimiin

Olin kuulevinani jostain, että Wikileaks olisi onnistunut purkamaan pakistanilaisten Dropbox salasanan, missä olivat säilyttäneet mm. Clintonin sähköposteja.

Mikä tekee asian vielä mielenkiintoisammaksi on se, että tällä hetkellä Imran Awania epäillään mm. vakuutuspetoksesta jne, mutta hänen asianajajaksi on ilmoittautunut kovan luokan asianajaja, joka on lähellä Clintoneita. Nimittäin tämä vyyhti kun aukeaa, niin homma alkaa polttamaan välittömästi Hillaryn näppejä jne.

Wasserman Schultz is again on defense after steadfastly refusing to explain why she continued to employ Imran Awan, an IT staffer who was under a federal investigation for alleged equipment and data scam in the U.S. House since February. She finally fired him on July 25, one day after authorities arrested him on a seemingly unrelated mortgage fraud charge. He was at the airport leaving for Pakistan, after wiring $283,000 there.

The firing came a full six months after about two dozen House Democrats dismissed four of Awan's relatives and a friend, all of whom were under investigation with him.

Wasserman Schultz broke her public silence on Awan last week, portraying herself as the victim of "right wing media" attacks rooted in anti-Muslim bigotry aimed at Awan and the IT group.

But fellow Democrats are as confounded and disbelieving as ever by her penchant for making puzzling and stubborn political missteps.

"We wish she would go away and stop being so public by doubling down on negative stories," said Nikki Barnes, a progressive DNC member from Florida, who believes Wasserman Schultz left the national party "in shambles" while chair, culminating with the hack of DNC servers and the release of embarrassing internal emails by WikiLeaks in the 2016 campaign. As for Wasserman Schultz's defense, Barnes said "none of this makes sense. It doesn't sound like racial profiling ... there must have been something for her."

Two Former Wasserman Schultz IT Aides Indicted For Conspiracy Against U.S

A federal grand jury Thursday indicted two former information technology (IT) aides of Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz — Pakistani-born Imran Awan and his wife Hina Alvi — on four counts of conspiracy in the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

The FBI arrested Awan at Dulles International Airport July 24 as he was preparing to board a flight to Pakistan. When his wife Alvi left the U.S. for Pakistan in March, federal authorities found more than $12,000 in cash hidden in a suitcase. She had withdrawn the couple's three children from local schools and does not intend to return to the U.S., according to the FBI.

"Defendants AWAN and ALVI did unlawfully, willfully, and knowingly conspire, combine, confederate, and agree with each other to commit offenses against the United States," including bank fraud, false statements, and unlawful monetary transactions, the indictment said.

An arraignment date has not yet been set, and a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia did not immediately respond to The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group's question about when Hina Alvi would become a fugitive if she does not return to the U.S. voluntarily, or whether officials would seek to extradite her from Pakistan.

Now, Andrew McCarthy III, the former assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York who led the prosecution against Sheikh Omar Abdel Rahman and eleven others for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, says there is "something very strange" about the recent indictment filed against Imran Awan and his wife Hina Alvi in the District of Columbia.

In a National Review article, McCarthy points out that it's not what's in the indictment that is necessarily surprising but rather what is seemingly intentionally omitted.  For instance, McCarthy points out that "the indictment appears to go out of its way not to mention" that Imran was apprehended while in the process of fleeing the country, a fact that would seem to be the best evidence available to prove the fraud charges.

Let's say you're a prosecutor in Washington. You are investigating a husband and wife, naturalized Americans, who you believe have scammed a federal credit union out of nearly $300,000. You catch them in several false statements about their qualifications for a credit line and their intended use of the money. The strongest part of your case, though, involves the schemers' transferring the loot to their native Pakistan.

So . . . what's the best evidence you could possibly have, the slam-dunk proof that their goal was to steal the money and never look back? That's easy: One after the other, the wife and husband pulled up stakes and tried to high-tail it to Pakistan after they'd wired the funds there — the wife successfully fleeing, the husband nabbed as he was about to board his flight.

Well, here's a peculiar thing about the Justice Department's indictment of Imran Awan and Hina Alvi, the alleged fraudster couple who doubled as IT wizzes for Debbie Wasserman Schultz and many other congressional Democrats: There's not a word in it about flight to Pakistan. The indictment undertakes to describe in detail four counts of bank-fraud conspiracy, false statements on credit applications, and unlawful monetary transactions, yet leaves out the most damning evidence of guilt.
In fact, the indictment appears to go out of its way not to mention it.

Why would prosecutors leave that out of their indictment? Why give Awan's defense a basis to claim that, since the indictment does not allege anything about flight to Pakistan, the court should bar any mention of it during the trial? In fact, quite apart from the manifest case-related reasons to plead instances of flight, a competent prosecutor would have included them in the indictment simply to underscore that Awan is a flight risk who should have onerous bail conditions or even be detained pretrial.

Andre Taggart, a black U.S. Marine who says he typically votes Democrat, is apparently fed up with Debbie Wasserman Schultz's Islamophobia smoke screen which he views as just a dishonest attempt to shield the Awans from their crimes.  In his epic rant to the Daily Caller, Taggart says the whole thing just "pisses me off" and that he's "absolutely disgusted with everything going on in the country right now."

"It pisses me off," said Taggart, a black Marine who says he votes Democrat. He believes Wasserman Schultz is crying wolf and devaluing the meaning of genuine discrimination, while also exposing herself and the nation to risks.

"I just want to get these [guys] locked up and exposed and now," Taggart told TheDCNF. "The people who facilitated them should also be locked up, as far as I'm concerned."

Taggart said he made the decision to no longer be anonymous because he is concerned that his fellow Democrats are making a grave mistake by ignoring a scandal with serious criminal and national security implications.
     
"I'm absolutely disgusted with everything going on in the country right now, mostly because of right-wing conservatives, but with respect to this situation, political affiliation is irrelevant," Taggart said.

"Him, his wife, his brother, all working down there — there's no way they could do this without help. If we can drag Trump and his wingnuts through the mud for the Russia influence that they are having, then it's only fair that we also expose this s–t," Taggart said.


Taggart first discovered Awan's smashed hard drives after he rented a house in Lorton, Va. that belonged to them.  Upon moving in, the Marine found a trove of abandoned computer equipment in the garage, much of which had been destroyed, and called the FBI to take a look.

One of the new tenants — a Marine Corps veteran married to a female Navy Officer — said he found "wireless routers, hard drives that look like they tried to destroy, laptops, [and] a lot of brand new expensive toner."

The tenants called the Naval Criminal Investigative Service and, not long after, FBI agents arrived together with the Capitol Police to interview them and confiscate the equipment. The Marine spoke on condition of anonymity because of concerns for his wife's naval career, saying she doesn't want to be associated with a national security incident.

"It was in the garage. They recycled cabinets and lined them along the walls. They left in a huge hurry," the Marine said. "It looks like government-issued equipment. We turned that stuff over."

Whatever Is On Imran Awan's Smashed Hard Drives Likely Can Be Recovered

Somebody must have thought they were hiding something by smashing those computer hard-drives the FBI recovered from the home of Imran Awan, Florida Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz's former information technology (IT) aide.

But odds are excellent they were wrong. Federal law enforcement authorities may have already recovered and read whatever was on those hard drives.

"It depends on what happens, but even if it is hit with a hammer, it probably doesn't damage the platters that actually hold the data, which remains recoverable," said Tom Hakim, engineering supervisor for werecoverdata.com, a New York-based lab that specializes in difficult digital retrieval.

"In most cases, it's very likely" the information on a smashed hard drive can be recovered "in two or three days, maybe a week," Hakim said.

His lab, which does extensive work for law enforcement and Fortune 500 corporations, has also recovered data from disks that were in fires and that had been submerged in water.

Did Imran Awan Turn On Wasserman Schultz? New Report Suggests He Led Police To Her Laptop

For months now various media outlets have speculated on whether Debbie Wasserman Schultz (DWS) and her now-indicted IT staffer may have colluded to conceal evidence potentially linked to the infamous 'DNC hacks.'  While Schultz and the DNC have maintained that the hacks were orchestrated by Russians from a remote location, others have argued that the stolen documents must have been taken by an insider with direct access to DNC servers.  Meanwhile, the mystery surrounding the ongoing controversy has only been amplified by the DNC's rather curious refusal to allow the FBI access to their servers after the supposed 'attacks.'

But, according to a new report from The Daily Caller, even if Awan was originally acting to protect/extort DWS, that may have all changed on April 6, 2017 when he seemingly led U.S. Capitol Police directly to her laptop.

A laptop that Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz has frantically fought to keep prosecutors from examining may have been planted for police to find by her since-indicted staffer, Imran Awan, along with a letter to the U.S. Attorney.

U.S. Capitol Police found the laptop after midnight April 6, 2017, in a tiny room that formerly served as a phone booth in the Rayburn House Office Building, according to a Capitol Police report reviewed by The Daily Caller News Foundation's Investigative Group. Alongside the laptop were a Pakistani ID card, copies of Awan's driver's license and congressional ID badge, and letters to the U.S. attorney. Police also found notes in a composition notebook marked "attorney-client privilege."

The laptop had the username "RepDWS," even though the Florida Democrat and former Democratic National Committee chairman previously said it was Awan's computer and that she had never even seen it.

The laptop was found on the second floor of the Rayburn building — a place Awan would have had no reason to go because Wasserman Schultz's office is in the Longworth building and the other members who employed him had fired him.

Last week the Washington Examiner reported that Hina Alvi, the wife of Debbie Wasserman Schultz's now-infamous former IT staffer Imran Awan, had struck a deal with federal prosecutors to return to the U.S. where she currently faces charges of conspiracy and bank fraud.  The deal with prosecutors mandates a return to the U.S. during the "last week of September 2017" and is structured so that she will not be arrested in front of her children.

Now, if you're the cynical type, then it might have struck you as somewhat odd that Alvi would agree to return from Pakistan, the place to which she successfully fled specifically to avoid the charges she now seems to be embracing.

But, at least according to Congressman Trent Franks (R-AZ) who appeared on Fox News recently, there may be more to Alvi's return than meets the eye as he predicts that the Awans could be working on a broader immunity deal with prosecutors in return for a "significant" and "pretty disturbing" story about Debbie Wasserman Schultz.

    "I don't want to talk out of school here but I think you're going to see some revelations that are going to be pretty profound.  The fact that this wife is coming back from Pakistan and is willing to face charges, as it were, I think there is a good chance she is going to reach some type of immunity to tell a larger story here that is going to be pretty disturbing to the American people."

    "I would just predict that this is going to be a very significant story and people should fasten their seat belts on this one."

House IT Worker At Center Of Scandal Allegedly Abused Three Muslim Women

Multiple women in relationships with Imran Awan, the indicted former IT aide for Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, have recently called Virginia law enforcement and alleged being abused by him, police reports obtained under Virginia's Freedom of Information Act show.

Officers found one of the women bloodied and she told them she "just wanted to leave," while the second said she felt like a "slave," according to Fairfax County Police reports obtained by The Daily Caller News Foundation Investigative Group. A third woman claimed she was being kept "in captivity."

The third woman is Awan's stepmother, Samina Gilani, who said in court documents that Awan invoked his authority as a congressional employee to intimidate immigrant women, in part by telling them he had the power to have people kidnapped.

All but two of the nearly two dozen Democratic women Awan worked for in the House declined to comment on the police reports.

Wasserman Schultz, the former Democratic National Committee chairwoman, refused to fire Awan for months after his Feb. 2, 2017 banishment from the House computer network due to his being a suspect in a criminal investigation by the FBI and U.S. Capitol Police into a major cybersecurity breach.

Wasserman Schultz said that "as a mother, a Jew, and a member of Congress," she wanted to defend his rights, a sentiment echoed by Rep. Marcia Fudge, an Ohio Democrat. Rep. Gregory Meeks, a New York Democrat. Wasserman Schultz also claimed allegations against Awan might stem from Islamophobia. All three women are Muslim.

Awan's attorney, Chris Gowen, a former aide to Bill and Hillary Clinton, has blasted journalists covering the investigation. The press "should be reminded that Imran Awan is a husband and a father, not a political pawn," Gowen said.
