QuoteThe Tent Foundation (Tent) seeks to improve the lives of those who have been forcibly displaced by ensuring that they are able to realize their full potential. It does so by providing direct support to organizations doing good work, investing in innovation and facilitating partnerships with NGOs and businesses, as well as through gathering data and insights to help inform the general public and policymakers.

Since 2015, Tent has been working closely with AudienceNet, a London-based research agency working on matters of public importance, on its research strategy.

The research to date has focused on two main areas:

• Yearly tracking of international public
perceptions of the refugee crisis.

• Giving refugees a voice through
comprehensive quantitative research with
1,583 refugees in Germany, Greece and
Jordan.

Tent's research has been presented to key decision-makers at the United Nations and the World Economic Forum (2016 and 2017).

Tällä hetkellä tutkimuksia on tehty mm. maahanmuuttoon liittyvistä asenteista, matujen kotoutumisesta jne. Uusin tutkimus lyötyy täältä:

TENT TRACKER: PUBLIC PERCEPTIONS OF THE REFUGEE CRISIS (22.5.2017)

QuoteIN DECEMBER 2016, TENT COMMISSIONED ITS SECOND PUBLIC OPINION SURVEY ON THE PERCEPTIONS OF REFUGEES AMONGST THE POPULATION OF 12 COUNTRIES.

AUDIENCE NET CONDUCTED A COMPREHENSIVE SURVEY OF 12,500 INDIVIDUALS FROM AUSTRALIA, CANADA, FRANCE, GERMANY, GREECE HUNGARY, ITALY, SERBIA, SWEDEN, TURKEY, THE UNITED KINGDOM, AND THE UNITED STATES. THE FINDINGS OF THIS SURVEY SHOW THAT WHILE THE PUBLIC HAS MANY CONFLICTING VIEWS ABOUT WELCOMING REFUGEES INTO THEIR COMMUNITIES, THERE IS PLENTY OF OPPORTUNITY TO POSITIVELY SHIFT THE NARRATIVE.
