A mum has pleaded guilty to murdering three of her children by driving her car into a lake.

Twins Madit and Anger Manyang, four, and Bol, one, all perished when their mum's four-wheel-drive car became submerged in a lake in Melbourne, Australia.

Now Akon Guode, 37, had admitted murdering the three siblings and attempting to murder their older sister Awel, six, who was left fighting for her life after the crash.

Police accused Guode of driving into Lake Gladman on purpose, but she initially claimed she was not responsible because she was under the "spell" of witchcraft at the time.

Now she has admitted charges of murder and attempted murder, according to www.news.com.au .

Victoria Police collision investigator and civil engineer Detective Senior Constable Robert Hay said: "From the drive-throughs of the collision scene, it is my opinion that the car could not and did not just drift off the roadway."

Awel, six, was left fighting for her life at Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital after the crash.

The grey 2005 Toyota Kluger smashed through shrubs as it careered towards Lake Gladman before continuing for another 10 metres and sinking.

The heartbroken father of the children, who came from a Sudanese family, initially he believed the crash was an accident.

13-vuotias saksalaistyttö jallitti ovelasti häntä ahdistellutta matua Wolfsburgin kaupungissa toissaviikon lauantaina.

Brave schoolgirl, 13, dupes pervert immigrant and lays trap for police to arrest him

A brave schoolgirl managed to escape the clutches of a refugee sex attacker by pledging that she would meet him the following day of her own free will.

But when the Algerian man, 34, returned for what he thought would be an erotic rendezvous he was seized by police who lay in wait for him.

Detectives praised the "quick thinking and courage" of the schoolgirl aged 13 who was approached and grabbed by the six foot tall man at Wolfsburg railway station on Saturday.

He dragged her into a darkened corner of the station and began to molest her.

The girl told newspaper Bild; "He held a hand over my mouth and spoke in English. He said I should be quiet and not struggle. He tried to kiss me and to grope me.

The girl, who had two friends waiting for her outside the station, managed to break free but her attacker came after her. Then she turned to him and said: "I have to go home now but I will be here at the same time tomorrow."

The man nodded and agreed to the rendezvous. But once at home she blurted out details of her horrific experience to her parents who called police.

With numerous uniformed and plain clothes officers at various points in the station the girl returned to the station the following day in a bid to lure him into a trap.

The ploy worked and the paedophile was caught. He is now facing charges of attempted sexual assault on a minor.

Her father, 49, was watching his daughter the whole time.

"She played the decoy," he said.

"It took about five minutes, until the police intervened with two civilian investigators and two uniformed officers."

Police said that they had only dealt with one previous case of a foreign "lover boy" preying on an underaged girl at the station some six years previously.

Ammuskelu Blue Parrot -yökerhossa sunnuntain ja maanantain välisenä yönä aiheutti joukkopaniikin, kun ihmiset pakenivat ampujaa. Viidestä kuolonuhrista yksi tallautui kuoliaaksi. Yhteensä 15 ihmistä loukkaantui.

Prosecutor appeals for tougher sentence for camerawoman kicking refugees

The prosecutor has appealed for a tougher sentence in the case of a camerawoman who kicked refugees as they rushed across a field near the Röszke border in southern Hungary back in September 2015. On January 12, the court sentenced Petra László to three years' probation for disorderly conduct. If she does not reoffend during that period, the conviction will be dropped.

Prosecutor's office spokesman Ferenc Szanka said the appeals court should establish that she had deliberately aimed a kick at a Syrian man and his child, who fell over, and fine her. In the original indictment, the prosecutor said that the suspect "had not been motivated by the complainants' being migrants".

László said in her defence that she had been "scandalised" by the behaviour of the refugees who had broken through a police cordon, but she had only wanted to "keep people at a distance" and "help the police"

17-vuotias tyttö raiskasi miehen veitsellä uhaten

Teinityttöä uhkaa jopa elinkautinen vankeus.

17-vuotiasta Lestina Marie Smithiä syytetään 19-vuotiaan miehen raiskaamisesta Saginaw´ssa, Michiganissa Yhdysvalloissa.

Hän hyökkäsi 19-vuotiaan miehen kimppuun pakottaen tämän veitsellä uhaten sekä suu- että vaginaseksiin. Smith oli kaatanut miehen maahan ja piti tätä aloillaan veitsellä, kirjoittaa uutissivusto MLive.

Smith sai syytteen kahdesta ensimmäisen asteen seksuaalirikoksesta. Jos hänet tuomitaan, rangaistus voi olla jopa elinkautinen vankeus.

Epäilty raiskaus tapahtui tammikuun 11. Tapauksen käsittely oikeudessa jatkuu helmikuussa.

Jogger brutally attacked by hooded thugs - and only escapes by speaking ARABIC

A TEACHER has told how he was viciously attacked and forced into a canal - and only escaped a further beating by speaking to them in Arabic.

Dad-of-two Lee Skinner, 38, was punched and knocked into the freezing water as he ran past five hooded youths in Acocks Green, Birmingham.

As he struggled to get out of the cold, slippery canal the thug who punched him was waiting - until the former language teacher started speaking Arabic.

The shame-faced gang, all aged around 17, then fled the scene and the attacker is now being hunted by police.

Media lecturer Lee from Olton, had needed hospital treatment for his injuries after the 3pm attack on Sunday.

He told the Birmingham Mail: "The police praised me and said my speaking in Arabic showed quick-thinking. They said my actions could have stopped the situation from being a lot worse."

The attack took place on the canalside in Yardley Road.

Lee was jogging towards a bridge when he tried to pass the youths, who he believes were all from the Pakistani community.

He said: "There were five in total, all wearing grey and black, casual clothing, puffy coats, caps and hoods.

"The guy who punched me was rounded in the face and had neat, tidy stubble. The other four were quite slim."

He added: "As I jogged past, the one with a rounded face punched me full force with his left hand, into my right cheek. I went up into the air and into the water.

"I sank and was completely submerged, my feet were not touching the bottom. I opened my eyes and could see brown muddy swirl around me.

"The water was so cold that I couldn't breathe properly. All I could do was kick my feet to get to the surface.

"The one who punched me was waiting at the side of the canal with an incredible look of pleasure on his face. "He was waiting to watch me suffer or to come back so he could hit me again."

It was at this point that bilingual Lee began to speak in Arabic.

He said: "I was able to identify them as Pakistani as I've worked in Muslim communities and have a detailed knowledge of Islam and speak Arabic to a certain level. I also used to teach asylum seekers for a while.

"So in that moment I said something in Arabic - a Muslim declaration of faith. As soon as I said it, a look of panic spread across their faces. I then shouted in Arabic, 'May God forgive you'.

"At that moment they looked like a bunch of terrified schoolchildren. That's what ended it. It would have been prolonged otherwise, I believe.

"What I said made me human to them, gave me an identity. They started seeing me as a person."

Lee managed to pull himself from the icy waters, cutting his legs badly in the process. His mobile phone, keys and glasses were lost in the canal, along with a memory stick containing college lessons.

Incredibly, he saw four of the group up ahead as they headed into trees to hide and he followed, although the thug who attacked him had run elsewhere.

Lee said: "As they were unable to outrun me they stopped and turned to confront me, but they were met with the offer of a handshake.

"As I have a detailed understanding of Islam, I was able to talk to them about the positive aspects of Mohammed and Islam and how their actions had been completely contrary to this.

"They said they were very sorry this had happened. They then walked off and I walked home.

"I was furious at the time but I am quite proud that I had them cornered but the first thing I did was offer my hand and spoke to them about the attack from the perspective of their faith.

"The four boys admitted that the attack happened because I was white and I explained that in the current political climate, such actions could have a negative effect on the Muslim Pakistani community which they are supposed to be representing.

A POTENTIAL terror attack in a European city was avoided "just in time", after a suspect from a "migrant background" was taken into police custody, government officials have confirmed.

Austria's anti-terrorist unit, Cobra, arrested the suspect in a Vienna apartment yesterday afternoon, in suspicion of planning a terrorist attack.

Wolfgang Sobotka, Austria's Interior Minister told reporters that the 18-year-old suspect who was "an Austrian citizen" from a "minority background", was arrested after the police unit received "decisive leads from foreign intelligence services".

Mr Sobotka said in the press conference: "Our police forces managed just in time to arrest a suspect and thus prevent a potential terror attack in the federal capital Vienna.

"An Austrian citizen with a migration background who is 18 years old."

Earlier, police said the man had been under surveillance for the past few days and there have been "indications" of a potential terrorist attack in Vienna.

The security services are also trying to establish whether the suspect had any accomplices.

Konrad Kohler, the Director-General for public security said: "A large number of investigations are underway. We undertake these steps to determine how many people were involved.

"Today's case shows once again that Austria is no blessed isle. That Austria, like Europe, has to expect terror situations."

Europe has been forced to endure a mass of terrorist attacks over the last few months, and a great deal of them involved the use of vehicles, as recommended in an ISIS magazine "Rumiyah".

Although Austria was spared in the string of attacks, reports suggest some of the attackers behind the November 2015 deadly attacks in Paris had come through Austria with false papers among the flow of migrants.

During the Christmas and New Year period, prosecutors said a Moroccan asylum-seeker was detained in Austria for allegedly planning an attack in Salzburg.

The Austrian minister added: "Today's case shows once again that Austria is no blessed isle. That Austria, like Europe, has to expect terror situations."

Itävallassa perjantaina pidätetty 17-vuotias nuorukainen on kertonut poliisin tutkijoille rakentaneensa "testipommin" Saksassa. Albanialaista syntyperää olevan miehen uskotaan suunnitelleen terrori-iskua Wieniin.

17-vuotiaan pidätykseen johti vinkki ulkomailta, kertoo Reuters. Itävalta varoitti tämän jälkeen Saksaa toisesta epäilyttävästä henkilöstä, ja Saksa pidätti lauantaina 21-vuotiaan miehen Neussin kaupungissa, maan länsiosassa.

Toistaiseksi viranomaiset eivät ole kertoneet, suunnittelivatko Itävallan ja Saksan pidätetyt yhteistä iskua vai erillisiä.

Saksalaismedian mukaan kaksikko osti testipommiinsa materiaalia Puolasta ja rakenteli pommin asunnossa Neussissa.

Yksi ihminen on kuollut Australiassa kun hip hop-yhtyeen musiikkivideon kuvauksissa ihmistä ammuttiin vahingossa haulikolla. Kuollut oli stunt-mies eli ei yksi muusikoista. Videon kuvauksiin oli palkattu "gangsterin näköisiä" henkilöitä eli joku gansta-video ilmeisesti.
