10-päinen nuorisojengi (koodisana youths) haukkui lyhyissä shortseissa rullaluistelleita naisia huoriksi Toulonissa Ranskassa ja kävi näiden aviomiesten sekä ystävän kimppuun, kun he puuttuivat tilanteeseen. Perheiden lapset joutuivat todistamaan pahoinpitelyjä vierestä. Kaksi epäillyistä hyökkääjistä on pidätetty, iältään 17 ja 19 vuotta, ja he ovat poliisin vanhoja tuttuja. Muita hyökkääjiä etsitään.

Tekijöiden taustoja ei kerrota, mutta eiköhän tuo aika selvää ole. Aivan taatusti muslimeja, jotka hyökkäilevät liian paljastavasti pukeutuvien kimppuun. Kyseinen alue itäisessä Toulonissa (Oeillets) tunnetaan huumekaupastaan ja kesäkuussa samalla alueella viiden hengen jengi pahoinpiteli nuorta tyttöä, kun hänellä oli yllään "loukkaavat" farkkushortsit.

A GANG of 10 youths unleashed a volley of offensive insults at two French women because they were roller skating wearing a pair of 'revealing' shorts – then beat up their husbands and their friend.

The two women were enjoying an afternoon stroll and roller skating with their husbands, children, and a friend, when they were violently attacked by the gang as they neared the Oeillets council estate – a drug-trafficking hotspot – in the eastern suburbs of Toulon.

The most seriously wounded of the three men suffered fractures to his face and was signed off from work for 30 days.

Local prosecutor Bernard Marchal confirmed that the women's outfits had "triggered the attack".

"It was just an excuse to insult and attack them," he said.

The youths are said to have started yelling "hooker!" and "why don't you just go on and get naked!" at the two women.

Their husbands and a male friend asked the boys to show the women some respect and leave them alone, but were 'silenced' and beaten up by the gang.

The children present at the scene witnessed the brutal beating, during which the two women were knocked down but not seriously injured.

A spokesperson for the mayor of Toulon branded the attack "heinous" and said that thanks to CCTV camera, they had been able to identify and arrest two of the attacker in "under 24 hours".

The two suspected attackers, aged 17 and 19, already have a criminal record and were arrested on Tuesday. A police investigation has been launched to help identify and locate the remaining gang members.

In June, and in the same town, a young girl was attacked by a mob of five youths for wearing 'offensive' denim hotpants while travelling by bus.

A few days later, locals organised a 'short protest", and hundreds of people converged in order to denounce the girl's attack.

A raid on the acting head of Russia's anti-corruption agency turned out to be quite productive – police found a bag big enough to accommodate over $122 million in cash, sources told Russian media.

Police arrested Dmitry Zakharchenko, the deputy head of the Energy Industry Department of the General Administration of Economic Security and Combating the Corruption (GAESCC), after the operation.

According to investigators, police seized a sum of some $120 million and € 2 million ($2.2 million).

"The final amount is unknown. [Police] confiscated a cache only in [Zakharchenko's] house; it is not yet known how many more assets [he has], but we are working in this direction," a source told RIA Novosti.

Expressen: Ikea-puukottaja hakattiin vankilassa


Kahdesta murhasta elinkautiseen vankeuteen tuomittu Abraham Ukbagabir on pahoinpidelty rajusti ruotsalaisessa Salan vankilassa, kertoo ruotsalaislehti Expressen.

Lehden mukaan vartijat löysivät Ukbagabirin sellistä, jossa pahoinpitely tapahtui. Tämä rojahti oven avautuessa saman tien sikiöasentoon suojaten käsillä kasvojaan.

Ukbagabir puukotti viime vuoden elokuussa Ikean myymälässä kuoliaaksi 55-vuotiaan ruotsalaisnaisen ja tämän 27-vuotiaan pojan. Aseena hän käytti keittiöosastolta löytämäänsä puukkoa.

Tekijä kertoi kuulusteluissa puukotuksen olleen kosto Ruotsille siitä, että hänen hakemuksensa turvapaikasta oli hylätty. Uhrit hän valitsi satunnaisesti.

Ruotsin viranomaiset ovat alusta lähtien pitäneet mahdollisena, että Ukbagabir joutuu vankilassa väkivallan kohteeksi.

Tästä syystä hänet pidettiin kuukausia eristettynä muista vangeista Kumlan vankilassa. Sieltä Ukbagabir siirrettiin kesäkuussa Salan vankilaan, mutta hyökkäyksen jälkeen hänet on palautettu Kumlaan.

Isis innoitti hyökkäykseen Australiassa: aseena puukko

22-vuotias mies yritti puukottaa 59-vuotiasta miestä Sydneyssä. Hyökkäys tapahtui kaksi päivää sen jälkeen, kun teini-ikäinen poika uhkaili Sydneyn Oopperatalolla. Molemmat hyökkäykset saivat innoituksensa Isisin kehotuksesta hyökätä australialaiskohteissa.

Australian poliisi kutsuu tällaisia hyökkäyksiä "terrorismin uusiksi kasvoiksi".

Epäili luotiliivin kuntoa, serkku testasi asian aseella – mies kuoli Floridassa

LUOTILIIVINSÄ toimintakykyä pohtinut floridalaismies kuoli, kun serkku päätti auttaa tätä selvittämään vastauksen ampumalla rintaan.

Floridassa Tampan kaupungin poliisi raportoi 23-vuotiaan Joaquin Mendezin kuolleen myöhään lauantaina, uutisoi The Guardian.

POLIISIN mukaan Mendez oli pukenut luotiliivin ylleen ja pohtinut ääneen, että noinkohan liivi on yhä toimintakuntoinen.

"Otetaan selvää", miehen vuotta vanhemman serkun, Alexandro Garibaldin kerrotaan todenneen. Sen jälkeen serkku otti esiin aseen ja ampui Mendezia rintaan.

MENDEZ löydettiin asunnon ulkopuolelta ampumahaava rinnassaan. Hän kuoli myöhemmin sairaalassa.

Garibaldi väitti poliiseille kuulleensa ampumisen ääniä ja löytäneensä Mendezin sen jälkeen haavoittuneena pihalta. Todistajan mukaan Garibaldi oli kuitenkin se, joka Mendeziä ampui.

GARIBALDI pidätettiin sunnuntaina taposta epäiltynä, eikä oikeus myöntänyt hänelle mahdollisuutta vapautua takuita vastaan.

The inmate - who covers his head with his hands - is pulled up to a sitting position before one of the men lands a loud thwack on top of his head.

The man dealing the majority of the violence kicks him with his shoe before the other says, 'Now the face.'

A woman dressed in traditional Muslim clothing had her sleeve set on fire outside a designer boutique in Manhattan on Saturday.

The 35-year-old woman had been walking along Fifth Avenue and was outside the Valentino store at 9pm when the attack occurred.

She quickly patted the small flame out herself and noticed the suspect – a man with a lighter in his hand.

The woman, who was visiting New York City from Scotland, flagged down a police officer to report the crime but the suspect had already fled down 54th Street, an NYPD spokesman told Daily Mail Online.

The police department's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating to determine if the incident was motivated by bias towards Muslims, the New York Daily News reports.

It comes less than a week after a woman allegedly attacked two Muslim mothers in Brooklyn.

Emirjeta Zhelili reportedly punched the women in the face and attempted to rip their hijabs from their heads on Thursday.

Ibraham Hooper, a spokesman for the Council of American-Islamic Relations, said he urges police to thoroughly investigate a possible bias motive.

'It's almost impossible to keep up with the number of incidents in recent days and months since the mainstreaming of Islamophobia by people like Donald Trump,' he told Daily Mail Online.

He added that in the past week, the organization has seen numerous complaints of incidents apparently fueled by anti-Muslim sentiment, including an tractor-trailer that crashed into a Maryland mosque.

Poliisi teki jättiratsioita vastaanottokeskuksissa ja asunnoissa.

Saksan keskusrikospoliisi BKA:n erikoisjoukot ja poliisin terrorisminvastainen yksikkö GSG9 tekivät varhain tiistaiaamuna suurratsioita kahdessa osavaltiossa Pohjois-Saksassa. Viranomaiset ratsasivat yhteensä kuusi turvapaikanhakijoiden vastaanottokeskusta sekä useita asuntoja Schleswig-Holsteinin ja Ala-Saksin osavaltioissa.

Met police 'routinely discriminate against black people,' Scotland Yard diversity chief warns

Police are routinely discriminating against black people in stop and search operations in London as part of a misguided performance culture, Scotland Yard's new head of diversity has warned.

Victor Olisa said it was accepted practice to stop young black men to try and boost arrest rates for drugs such as cannabis – while officers turned a blind eye to white men who may be carrying cocaine.

The chief superintendent said the discrimination was unwitting and driven by performance rather than racism but had led to a negative stereotyping of black people.

Three men arrested over murder of loyalist John Boreland

Three men were arrested on Tuesday morning by detectives investigating the murder of prominent loyalist John Boreland.

A Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) spokesman said a 29-year-old was detained in Scotland in the north Ayrshire area, with assistance from Police Scotland, and two men, aged 33 and 61, were arrested in north Belfast in connection with the fatal shooting of the 46-year-old last month.

John Boreland, a UDA leader, was shot a number of times on August 7th as he got out of his car to walk to his flat in Sunningdale Gardens. He died at the scene.

• The evidence suggests that if there is police racial bias in arrests it is negligible. Vic- tim and witness surveys show that police arrest violent criminals in close proportion to the rates at which criminals of different races commit violent crimes.

• There are dramatic race differences in crime rates. Asians have the lowest rates, fol- lowed by whites, and then Hispanics. Blacks have notably high crime rates. This pattern holds true for virtually all crime categories and for virtually all age groups.

• Both violent and non-violent crime has been declining in the United States since a high in 1993. 2015 saw a disturbing rise in murder in major American cities that some observers associated with "depolicing" in response to intense media and public scrutiny of police activity.

Edgar Matobato kertoi televisioidussa senaatin kuulemisessa, että presidentti Rodrigo Duterte määräsi vuosina 1988-2013 tappajajoukon raa'asti murhaamaan yli tuhat vastustajaansa sekä epäiltyä huumekauppiasta.

57-vuotiaan Edgar Matobaton väitteet oman maansa istuvasta presidentistä olivat karmivia. Matobato väitti muun muassa, että hän oli – Duterten määräämänä – mukana syöttämässä sieppauksista epäiltyä miestä elävänä krokotiilille.

Matobaton mukaan tappamiset tehtiin muutenkin hyvin raa'asti: uhreja muun muassa poltettiin ja paloiteltiin, tai suolistettiin ja heitettiin mereen kalojen ruuaksi. Matobato kertoo itse tappaneensa noin 50 ihmistä.

Uhrit olivat rikoksista epäiltyjä, mutta myös Duterten tai hänen perheensä vastustajia. Duterte muodosti tappajayksikön poliiseista ja entisistä kommunistikapinallisista ollessaan eteläfilippiiniläisen Davaon kaupungin pormestari.

BANGKOK: -- Two romance scammers have been arrested in Bangkok after stealing an estimated 20 million baht in just one year from Thai women who wanted love and marriage to a western man.
The husband and wife team found it easy to get victims on chat websites and the tricks to get them to part with money were tried and tested, reported Daily News. The woman is Thai herself while the husband is Nigerian. He pretended he was white and rich to get the trust of victims. They have connections abroad.Uraporn Kesawattana, 34, was arrested on a Minburi court warrant and her partner Chinaka Chinedu, 23 was also nabbed. The husband and wife pair were apprehended at a car air-con repair shop in Thonburi by Crime Suppression Division police yesterday.

Uraporn said that it was easy to get the victims to part with their money, so desperate were they for a foreign husband. Chinaka got the victims and befriended them saying he was white and rich.Then came the sting. He would tell the victims he had sent them an expensive set of gifts.Uraporn then contacted the victims pretending she was from the police or customs and that several million baht had been found in the gift packages. In order to secure their release up to a million baht needed to be paid in bribes.
When the victims believed this she used the Line application under the came "Cargo 12" to send bank account details for victims to transfer money. Then they disappeared from the scene and moved on to the next victim.
She said that she sent the money gained on to others in Malaysia getting 5-10% commission each time.She said that 100 victims had fallen prey to them in a year.She was charged with fraud and detained.
The Nigerian originally came to Thailand to try out as a footballer at one of the country's top teams. But when he was not chosen he turned to the scam. Police are still gathering evidence in his case but detained him on a charge that he has overstayed his visa.

Ei puhuta aina islamista: Ruotsissa kirjaimellisesti raamattua kantanut pastori tunkeutui naisen asuntoon raiskaamaan. Käräjäoikeus on nyt määrännyt hänet kahden ja puolen vuoden tuomion jälkeen karkoitettavaksi takaisin Kameruniin. Tuomittu vastustaa karkotusta mm. sillä perusteella, että se ei olisi hänelle turvallista, koska hän on homo.
