USA:n presidentti Obama on tehnyt kohta enemmän töitä islamin mediaseksikkyyden puhdistamiseksi kuin amerikkalaisten eteen, mutta jopa Demokraateista alkaa kuulua soraääniä. Ei ole kovin uskottavaa, että kieltäytyy sanomasta äärimuslimien tekoja ääri-islamilaisiksi. Kongressiedustajan mukaan se vaarantaa jo kansallista ja kansalaisten turvallisuutta kun väkivaltaisuuksien motiiveja ei kerrota. Obaman "hear no evil, see no evil and play dum" ei toimi ja uskottavuus vesittyy kohtuullisen kattavan lehdistönvapauden myötä.

Democrat congresswoman slams Obama's refusal to say 'Islamic extremism'

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, an Iraq War veteran, issued a scathing assessment Tuesday of President Obama's refusal to utter the words "Islamic extremism" in reference to recent terror attacks, calling the omission a threat to the safety of the nation.

"This is not just about words," the Hawaii Democrat told Fox News' Greta Van Susteren. "It's not about semantics. It's really about having a real, true understanding of who our enemy is and how important that is, that we have to understand what their motivation is and what their ideology is — the radical Islamic ideology that is fueling them."

Lt. Col. Ralph Peters (Ret.) said on "Fox and Friends Weekend" this morning that President Obama's inaction and lack of urgency in the fight against terrorism inspires aggression against the West.

"The only religion this president is willing to come out and publicly defend is Islam," Peters said. "He clearly romanticizes Islam and treats it as if Islam is above all criticism."

"We've got this problem where everybody on the left in the United States romanticizes Islam. They're always scolding us, 'Beware of Islamophobia, you can't indulge in Islamophobia,'" Peters said.
