Only every third immigrant to Norway comes from a country where Islam is the most important religion, while three out of five come from a nation where Christianity is the chief religion.

This is shown by a survey made by the Norwegian Christian Intercultural Association (CIA), based on figures from Statistics Norway (SSB).

This means that Christian immigrants to Norway occupy a domination position, compaared with the other religious groups, says CIA General Secretary Erik Høidahl.

The figures show that of the 422,595 immigrants in Norway, 250,030 come from countries with a mostly Chrsitian population.

Fewer asylum seekers to Norway
The number of asylum seekers arriving in Norway is dropping. From October to November this year the number declined by 22 per cent, according to fresh figures.

Justice Minister Knut Storberget, who earlier this year presented new measures aimed at limiting the number of asylum seekers, says he is satisfied with the new figures, but does not rule out further restrictions.

Varmasti sitä työperäistä maahanmuuttoa tulee esimerkiksi EU-alueelta ja mahdollisesti idän teknologiajättien puolelta. Humanitaarisen maahanmuuton osalta veikkaan persaukisuuden olevan suurimmalla osalla yhdistävä tekijä sekä islamia on varmasti tässä perusjoukossa enemmän.

Varmasti sitä työperäistä maahanmuuttoa tulee esimerkiksi EU-alueelta

Ja luultavasti myös jokainen norjalainen, joka lähtee mutamaksi vuodeksi töiden tai opiskelun perässä ulkomaille (käytännössä lähes varmasti enemmistöltään kristittyyn maahan) lasketaan noissa tilastoissaan kotiin palatessaan kristityksi "maahanmuuttajaksi".
