Länsimaissa tulisi tunnustaa julkiseksi tosiasiaksi se, että islam on poliittinen järjestelmä aivan kuten demokratia, kommunismi tai natsismi. Islamissa on myös uskonnollista aspektia, mutta poliittinen järjestelmä on olennaisin, jossa vain jumala omaa todellista lainsäädäntövaltaa.

Islam on Lähi-idän geopolitiikkaa siinä missä me pyrimme levittämään demokratiaa ja YK:n yleismaailmallisia ihmisoikeuksia.

Muslimimaat ovat virallisesti irtisanoutuneet YK:n yleismaailmallisista ihmisoikeusjulistuksesta ja tunnustavat vain omaansa Sharia lakiin perustuvaa Kairon ihmisoikeusjulistuksen.

YK:n toiminta on halvaantunut sen jälkeen kun muslimimaiden yhteistyöjärjestö OIC on vallannut asemia YK:ssa ja etenkin YK:n ihmisoikeustyössä. OIC ja jäsenjärjestöt ovat pyrkineet saamaan islamin arvostelun rikokseksi.

This week's election of the U.N. Human Rights Council has been a disaster that has handed the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) a major victory at the U.N. The U.S. decision not to run for a council seat proved to be prescient. The OIC now holds the balance of power in the new primary U.N. human-rights body, which stands at the center of Kofi Annan's failed reform plans.

The major defect of the old commission was that it had no standards for membership; the human-rights abusers ended up on the inside, deciding what counted as abuse. The council's creators repeated the mistake when they failed to agree on any substantive human-rights criterion for candidacy. The General Assembly instead adopted a resolution in March that made geography the only limiting factor for membership, distributing seats among the five regional U.N. blocs.

YK:n ihmisoikeusjohtajaksi valittiin jordanialainen Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, jonka johdossa YK ja sen jäsenjärjestöt painostavat Eurooppaa päästämään kaikki halukkaat muslimit Eurooppaan. Vastaava poliittinen painostus ei kuitenkaan koske niinkään muita maita/maanosia tai muslimimaita, ei etenkään rikkaita Lähi-idän muslimimaita.

Omissa keskusteluissani YK:n alaisten järjestöjen kanssa olen saanut paljon väärää tai tarkoituksenmukaisesti harhaanjohtavaa tietoa. Keskustelut ovat menneet julistamisen tasolle eikä harhaanjohtavia tietoja korjata tai edes pahoitella.

Monet muslimimaat kieltäytyvät ottamasta "vastuuta" ja vastuu sysätään pitkälti Euroopan harteille. Eurooppa on siis Lähi-idän geopolitiikan kohteena.

The most senior United Nations officials dealing respectively with refugees, human rights, and migration and development, have appealed strongly to European leaders to put human life, rights, and dignity first when agreeing today a common response to what they called the "tragedy of epic proportions" unfolding in the Mediterranean Sea, where some 1,600 people have died this year trying to flee their strife-torn homelands.

A statement by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, António Guterres, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, the UN Special Representative for International Migration and Development, Peter Sutherland, and the Director-General of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), William Lacy Swing, comes as European Union (EU) leaders grappled to find ways to stem the number of people risking their lives while trying to cross the Mediterranean to Europe after hundreds of refugees and migrants lost their lives on the high seas.

Politicians who use derogatory language about refugees and migrants may be responsible for causing violence and racism, UN Human Rights Commissioner Zeid Ra'ad al-Hussein warned yesterday (27 October).

"Once you classify people along lines such that they pose a threat – that these are 'hordes', that we are being 'invaded', that there are 'swarms' of people coming, you have started the process of dehumanizing them as we know from history," he said.
